R8200 Mortise Lock with Simplí Roseless Trim
with One-Sided Trim Only

Step 3

Step 1

Slide plate & post assembly
through lockbody on the side
opposite from the trim

Press lock centering
spring onto the lockbody
as shown

Step 4

Install lockbody
into the door

Step 5

Position spindle, slide
adapter plate over the
spindle and secure
with (2) screws

Step 6

Attach collar to
adapter by rotating
clockwise using lever
base tool, supplied.
Tighten until collar is
flush with door.

Lever base tool (provided)

Step 2

Secure plate & post assembly
to the lockbody with (2)
lockwashers

Threaded hole to attached
lever must be facing towards
the hinge

Step 7

Slide lever over spindle
and adapter and secure
with set screw
