Product(s):SaregamaCarvaanMiniimportedmarketedandsoldby Saregama,eitherdirectlyorthroughitsAuthorizedDealers/Authorized ResellersincludingAuthorisedOnlineResellers.RefertheAuthorized Dealers/AuthorizedResellers/AuthorizedOnlineResellerslistatSaregama Websitei.e.www.saregama.com(“Website”)SaregamaCarvaanMini purchasedoutofIndiaisnotcoveredunderProductdefinitionand accordinglynoteligibleforSaregamaWarranty.
Customer:Anend-user(aperson,firm,companyorthelegalentity)who purchasestheProductfromSaregamaoritsAuthorizedDealers/ AuthorizedResellers/AuthorizedOnlineResellers.
2. Scope of Warranty
ThisWarrantyisavailableonlyfortheProductandnotfortheAccessories thatcomealongwiththeProduct.
Saregama'sWarrantyfortheProductisonlyagainstanymanufacturing defectsinthematerialorworkmanship,whichprovidefortherepairofthe defectiveProducts(s).
Saregama'swarrantydoesnotcoveranyaccidentaldamage,loss,Actsof God,ormisuse/abuseoftheProductoranyothereventnotattributableto themanufacturer'smaterialorworkmanshipormanufactureofthe Product. 11
3. Warranty Period
Productiscoveredunder6monthsstandardwarrantyfromthedateof ProductpurchasebytheCustomer.
Warrantyvalidation/Warrantyperiodconfirmationwouldbedonethrough WarrantyCardorCustomerInvoice.
IfaCustomertransferstheownershipofProducttoanotherperson,the remainderofthewarrantyperiodmayalsotransfertothenewowner. CustomershallberequiredtoprovideproofofpurchaseorWarrantyCardof theProduct,asapre-conditionforavailingthewarrantyoftheProduct.
NoclaimmadebyathirdpartyormadebyCustomeronbehalfofathird partyshallbeentertainedbySaregama.
4. Warranty Type
OnlyCarry-inWarrantyshallbeprovided.SuchCarry-inWarrantyservice requiresthattheProductbebroughtbytheCustomer,athis/hersolecost andresponsibility,totheAuthorizedDealers/AuthorizedResellers/ AuthorizedOnlineResellersfromwheretheCustomerwouldhave purchasedsuchProduct.OncetheProductisrepaired,Customershallbe responsibletopick-uptherepairedProductfromtheconcerned AuthorizedDealers/AuthorizedResellers/AuthorizedOnlineResellers withwhomtheProductwasplacedforrepair.
5. Warranty Terms
Warranty is provided only on the Product that is purchased from Saregama or Saregama Authorized Dealer / Reseller / Authorized Online Resellers.

6 months warranty will be provided on the Product. This includes repair, replacement of damaged parts and servicing
The warranty on the Product will be terminated automatically 6 months from the date of purchase of the Product even if the Product was not in use during the warranty period.
The warranty is limited only to the manufacturing defects in material or workmanship of the Product.
There is no warranty on the plastic parts of the Product.
This Warranty does not cover liability for loss of data/content loaded in the Product due to misuse or tampering by the Customer or any third party. If the content is altered, deleted, or in any way modified, Saregama shall not be responsible.
Only in case where there is no misuse of the Product or tampering with the data/content and if serviced under warranty, the Product will be returned configured as originally purchased. Thewarrantydoesnot coverthereplacementoftheProduct.Warrantydoesnotcoverwarrantyof functionalityoftheProduct.
ThisWarrantydoesnotapplytonormalwearandteartothememorycard, speaker,batteryanddisplaypanel(ifany)iftheProductisusedin commercial,business,industrial,educationalorrentalapplications. WarrantydoesnotcoverdamagecausedduetoActofGod&forcemajeure eventsincludingbutnotlimitedtofireorwaterdamage,electrical disturbancesetc.
Withinwarrantyperiod,necessaryrepairsorreplacementofanydefective part(s)oftheProductwillbecarriedout,ifrequired,torectifytheproblem intheProduct.Saregamareservestherighttousere-engineeredpart(s) withperformanceparameterequivalenttothesimilarnew part(s)/reconditionedunit,forperformingthewarrantyservices.
Thereplacedpart(s)shallbecomethepropertyofSaregama.

Intheeventofrepairsorreplacementofanypart(s),duringthewarranty period,thewarrantyoftheProductshallthereaftercontinueonlyforthe unexpiredperiodoforiginalwarranty.
TheWarrantyoftheProduct(s)and/orAccessoriesshallbe renderednullandvoidif:
•TheProductisphysicallydamaged
•TheProductismodified,repaired,maintainedand/oropened, disassembledbytheCustomeroranyun-authorisedpersoni.e.damage arisingoutofunauthorizedmodification,repairandalteration
•TheProductisoperatedand/ormaintainedinwaysotherthan recommendedbySaregamaintheusermanual.Productoperationoutside theusageparametersstatedintheusermanualprovidedwiththeProduct
•AnymalfunctionintheProductresultingfrominadequatesafekeeping, storageathightemperaturesorhumidity,storagewithmothballsor leakageofbatteries
•AnymalfunctionintheProductresultingfromexposureoftheProductto dirt,sand,waterincludingrustinsidetheProduct,fireand/orshock
•Themodelno.orserialno.stickerofProductisremoved,mutilated
ortamperedwith
•AnydamagetotheProductarisingoutofuseofanyconsumablesor accessoriesotherthanthosesuppliedbySaregama,AuthorizedDealers/ AuthorizedResellers/AuthorizedOnlineResellers
•Defectistheresultofphysicalbreakage,electricconnectionorelectrical faultsexternaltotheProduct
•AnydamageoccurstotheProductasaresultofCustomer'sfailureto followthedirectionsintheUserManual

6. Limitation of Liability
Saregamamakesnootherwarrantyeitherinwritingorotherwiseand expresslydisclaimsallwarrantiesandconditionsnotstatedinthislimited warranty.SaregamadoesnotwarrantthattheoperationoftheProductwill beuninterruptedorerror-free.TotheextentallowedbytheIndianlaws, Saregamadisclaimsallimpliedwarrantiesorconditions,includingany impliedwarrantiesorconditionsofmerchantability,merchantablequality, andfitnessforaparticularpurpose.
Saregama'smaximumliabilityunderthislimitedwarrantyislimitedtothe priceoftheProductorthecostofrepairorreplacementcharges,whichever islower.
Exceptasindicatedabove,innoeventwillSaregamabeliableforIndirect damagecausedduetoimproperfunctioningoftheProduct,includingbut notlimitedtolostprofitsorsavings,businessinterruption,lossofdata,lost revenue,lossofuse,oranyothercommercialoreconomiclossofanykind, orspecial,incidental,orconsequentialdamages.
Thislimitationofliabilityappliesinallcircumstancesi.e.whendamagesare sought,aclaimmadeunderthislimitedwarrantyorasatortclaim (includingnegligenceandstrictproductliability),acontractclaim,orany otherclaim.Thislimitationofliabilitycannotbewaivedormodifiedbyany person.ThislimitationofliabilitywillbeeffectiveevenifCustomerhas advisedSaregama/itsrepresentativeofthepossibilityofanysuch damagesorevenifsuchpossibilitywerereasonablyforeseeable.
7.Governing Laws
AnydisputesarisinginconnectionwiththisLimitedWarrantyshallbe governedbythelawsofIndia.ThecourtsofKolkatashallhavetheexclusive jurisdictionoverdisputesarisinghereunder.
