INSTRUCTIONS

Camera Control Unit

Before installing and using the unit, please read these instruction carefully. Be sure to keep it handy for later reference.

This unit is conceived to be connected between a camera (sold separately, and with MENU function) and its peripheral devices (such as a multiplexer, a timelapse VCR, a monitor TV, etc.) in order to control and set the camera’s menus remotely.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not use the unit if smoke or a strange odour comes from the unit, or if it seems not to function correctly.

Do not open the cabinet, as it may be dangerous and cause damage to the unit. For internal settings and repairs, consult your dealer (or a Sanyo Authorized Service Centre).

CONNECTIONS AND OPERATION

1Connect this unit between the camera and the peripheral devices, as illustrated below. Then, turn on all the devices.

Press the catch and remove the cover from the battery compartment.

Insert the batteries (Manganese or Alkali type, AAA, 2 x 1.5 V). Observe the polarity marks on the bottom of the battery compartment.

Disposal of old batteries

SANYO recommends that you do not dispose of used batteries with domestic refuse. Please, contact your dealer or your local authorities for information regarding the disposal of used batteries or take them to your nearest collection point.
