INSTRUCTIONS
Camera Control Unit
VAC-60
Before installing and using the unit, please read these instruction carefully. Be sure to keep it handy for later reference.
This unit is conceived to be connected between a camera (sold separately, and with MENU function) and its peripheral devices (such as a multiplexer, a timelapse VCR, a monitor TV, etc.) in order to control and set the camera’s menus remotely.

j: Press this button to move the cursor up. c: Press this button to move the cursor to the right, or to turn the

INSERTING THE BATTERIES
CONNECTIONS AND OPERATION
1 Connect this unit between the camera and the peripheral devices, as
illustrated below. Then, turn on all the devices.
2 Set the unit POWER switch to the ON position. 3 You can now use the CURSOR (d, c, j or l) buttons and the
SET button to control and set the camera’s menus.
For each camera menu settings details, please refer to the concerned camera instruction manual.
NOTE: This unit is only used for easy setting of the camera(s). Once the
settings have been made, please turn off and disconnect the unit.

1 Press the catch and remove the cover from the battery compartment. 2 Insert the batteries (Manganese or Alkali type, AAA, 2 x 1.5 V).
Observe the polarity marks on the bottom of the battery compartment.
Disposal of old batteries
SANYO recommends that you do not dispose of used batteries with domestic refuse. Please, contact your dealer or your local authorities for information regarding the disposal of used batteries or take them to your nearest collection point.
