Thisunitfusesthetonerthatwastransferredbythetransferrollerontothepaper,byapplyingacombinationofheatand pressuretocompletethefusingprocess..Thismachineusesaninstantfusingsystem(NIFtype).Thefuserunitdesignfor thisserieshasimproved.TheFuserBelthasbeenchangedtorequirelessheatcapacityandstillfusethetonerproperly. Additionally,thelifehasbeenimprovedbyincorporatingaSub-Bushsystemwithalubricantstoragedesign.

ThisFuserUnitiscommonforboththeColorandMonoseries.
1)LampHalogen
Thefuserunithastwohalogenlamps.Oneheatsthecenterofthefusingbelt,theotherheatstheendofaxialdirection. Thesehalogenlampsarelitalternatelytoheatthefusingbelt.Eachlamphasitscoilinadifferentlocation.Thecoilof thecenterheaterlampisinthecenter,thoseofthesideheaterlampareonbothsides.Thelampsarexedinsideof thefusingbelt.Whenrotatingthefusingbelt,theselampsdoesnotrotate.
2)BeltFuser
Thebeltfusergetsheatfromthehalogenlampandtransferittotonerandpaper.Thebeltfuserconsistsofthree thin-layers.Thethinfusingbeltreduceswarminguptimeandmodechangingtime.Topreventthefusingbeltfrom adheringtothetoner,thesurfaceofthefuserbeltisuorinated.ThereisaNipinsidethefusingbelt.Tensionsprings areusedtokeepaconstantNipAreawheretheFusingBeltcontactsthePressureRoller.
3)RollerFuserPressure
Thepressurerollerensurespropernipwidthbetweenthepressurerollerandfusingbelt.Itismadeupofthesoftsilicone spongerubber.And,itisdrivenbythedrivingsystemanddrivesthefusingbelt.
