Using the Rear Cover

1.Place your finger below the Rear Cover and pull it forwards to separate it.

2.Connect and arrange the cables.

3.Insert the Rear Cover aligning the grooves at the top with the TV.

4.Push the lower part of the Rear Cover towards the TV to close it.

NN Remove the protective vinyl sticker attached to the product before using it.

Mini Remote Control

NN Use the Mini Remote Control with the Infrared

-LED (Light emitting diode) pointing towards the TV.

2Television Standby button

NN This button only works when you press it for longer than 1.5 seconds.

Installing Batteries in the Mini Remote Control

1.Press the left and right grooves of the remote control battery compartment cover inwards at the same time.

NN The remote control battery compartment cover will be projected outwards slightly.

2.Pull the groove at the bottom of the remote control battery compartment cover forwards to separate the cover.

3.Insert the corresponding 3V(CR2450) Lithium battery.

4.Put the battery cover in.

Caution

When connecting an external device, match the colour of the connection terminal to the cable.

The product colour and shape may vary depending on the model.

Each Cable Box/Satellite receiver (Set-Top Box) has a different back panel configuration.

Whenever you connect an external device to your TV, make sure that power on the unit is turned off.

1.Connect an HDMI Cable between the HDMI IN (1, 2 or 3) jack on the TV and the HDMI jack on the Cable Box/

Satellite receiver (Set-Top Box).

NN No additionalAudio connection is needed for an HDMI to HDMI connection.

NN You cannot use the cover at the back of the TV unless you use the cables supplied with the TV. However, since the cable to be connected to the Side panel is not supplied with the product, connect the Side panel using a general off-the-shelf cable.

1.Connect an HDMI Cable between the HDMI IN 2 jack on the TV and the HDMI jack on the Cable Box/Satellite receiver.

2.Connect Audio Cables between the DVI IN(HDMI2) [R-AUDIO-L] jack on the TV and the Cable Box/Satellite receiver.

NN When using an HDMI/DVI cable connection, you must use the HDMI IN2 jack.

1.Connect a Component Cable between the COMPONENT IN1, 2 [Y, PB, PR ] jacks on the TV and the COMPONENT jacks on the Cable Box/Satellite receiver (Set-Top Box).

2.Connect Audio Cables between the COMPONENT IN1, 2 [R-AUDIO-L] jacks on the TV and the AUDIO OUT jacks on the Cable Box/Satellite receiver (Set-Top Box).

Storing Channels Automatically

You can scan for the frequency ranges available to you (and availability depends on your area). Automatically allocated programme numbers may not correspond to actual or desired programme numbers. However, you can sort numbers manually and clear any channels you do not wish to watch.

1.Press the MENU button to display the menu. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select "Channel", then press the ENTER button.

2.Press the ENTER button to select "Area".

3.Select the appropriate area by pressing the ▲ or ▼ button. Press the

ENTER button to confirm your choice.

4.Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select "Auto Store", then press the ENTER button.

5.Press the ENTER button.

NN The TV will begin memorizing all of the available channels.

NN Press the ENTER button at any time to interrupt the memorization process and return to the "Channel" menu.

6.After all the available channels are stored, the "Sort" menu appears.

Setting the Logo Lighting

You can configure the ARMANI and SAMSUNG logo lights at the bottom of the TV as required.

♦♦Off: Turns the logo lights off.

♦♦One On: Turns on the Armani Symbol logo in standby mode and Armani/

Samsung logo while watching TV.

♦♦Both On: Turns on the Armani Symbol logo in standby mode and both logos while watching TV.

♦♦On: Turns the logo lights on at all times.
