Safety precautions
Do not use the device for anything other than its
intended use
Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the device
Any changes or modifications to the device can void your
manufacturer’s warranty. For service, take the device to a
Samsung Service Center.
When using the device, mind the following:
• Humidity and liquids may damage parts or electronic
circuits.
• Do not store the device in hot areas. High temperature
may cause damage to the device or shorten battery life.
• Do not drop the device or cause impacts to it.
• Do not jump on the device.

This manual’s images and content may differ from the

This product is only a health assisting device. It cannot be
used for medical diagnostic purposes.

Check the product box for the following items:
Bluetooth Body Scale, three AAA batteries, user
manual. The supplied items may vary depending on
the region.
Inserting the batteries
1 Remove the battery cover.
2 Insert the batteries into the battery slots, and then
replace the battery cover.
For taring weight, place the device on a flat surface
within 30 seconds after inserting the batteries. If not,
measured weight can be different from actual weight.
Connecting with a smartphone
1 Turn on the smartphone, and tap S Health on the
Applications screen.
2 Tap Health board → Weight → → Weighing
accessory manager → EI-HS10.
3 Connect with the device using the instructions on
the smartphone’s display.
Up to four users can be registered to the device.
Disconnecting a smartphone
1 Turn on the device, and press and hold to
enter PAIRING MODE.
2 Press to select a user, and then press and
hold
3 Press to select DISCONNECT, and then press
and hold
.

4 When disconnected, the device displays SUCCESS.
Selecting a registered user
1 Step lightly on the measuring platform to turn the
device on.
2 If the LCD screen is turned on, step on the bottom of
the measuring platform to select a registered user.
When stepping on areas other than the lower part of
the measuring platform without choosing a user, the
device works as a standard scale. Because it acts as an
unconnected scale and measurements do not transfer
to the smartphone.
Measuring weight
1 Turn the device on, select a user, and then step on
the device.
2 Step off the device if measuring weight is complete.
3 Measured weight is displayed momentarily, and is
transferred to the connected smartphone.
The measurable weight range is 10–180kg /

Plataforma de
medición
Busque los siguientes elementos en la caja del
producto: Balanza corporal con Bluetooth, tres
baterías AAA, manual del usuario. Los elementos
provistos pueden cambiar en función de la región.
Colocación de las baterías
1 Retire la cubierta de la batería.
2 Inserte las baterías en las ranuras correspondientes y
vuelva a colocar la tapa.
Para tarar el peso, coloque el dispositivo sobre una
superficie plana durante 30 segundos después de
insertar las baterías. De lo contrario, el peso medido
puede ser diferente del peso real.
Cómo conectarla a un smartphone
1 Encienda el smartphone, y toque S Health en la
pantalla Aplicaciones.
2 Toque Tablero de salud → Peso → →
Gestor de accesorio de pesaje → EI-HS10.
3 Conéctela con el dispositivo siguiendo las
instrucciones en la pantalla del smartphone.
Se pueden registrar hasta cuatro usuarios en el
dispositivo.
Cómo desconectarla de un smartphone
1 Encienda el dispositivo y mantenga presionado
para ingresar al PAIRING MODE.
2 Presione para seleccionar un usuario, y luego
mantenga presionado
3 Presione para seleccionar DISCONNECT, y
luego mantenga presionado
4 Cuando esté desconectado, el dispositivo mostrará
SUCCESS.

Cómo seleccionar un usuario registrado
1 Pise suavemente la plataforma de medición para
encender el dispositivo.
2 Si la pantalla LCD se enciende, pise la parte inferior
de la plataforma de medición para seleccionar un
usuario registrado.
Si pisa sobre otra área que no sea la parte inferior de
la plataforma de medición sin elegir un usuario, el
dispositivo funcionará como una balanza común. Esto
se debe a que actúa como una balanza desconectada
y las mediciones no se transmiten al smartphone.
Cómo medir el peso
1 Encienda el dispositivo, seleccione un usuario y
súbase al dispositivo.
2 Cuando haya terminado de medir su peso, bájese
del dispositivo.
3 El peso medido se muestra unos instantes y se
transmite al smartphone conectado.
El rango de peso medible es de 10 a 180kg (22 a
