Rough Country recommends this system be installed by a certified technician. In addition to these instructions, profes­sional knowledge of disassemble/reassembly procedures as well as post installation checks must be known. Attempts to install this system without this knowledge and expertise may jeopardize the integrity and/or operating safety of the vehi­cle.
Please read instructions before beginning installation. Check the kit hardware against the Kit Contents List. Be sure you have all needed parts and know where they go.

Do not add, alter, or fabricate any factory or after-market parts to increase vehicle height over the intended height of the Rough Country product purchased. Mixing component brands is not recommended. Rough Country will not be responsi­ble for any product that is altered.

2– Coil Spring Spacers 1-375bag: 2-3/8” x 3 1/4” Bolts
2-3/8” Flat Washer 2-Flag Nuts
Tools Needed:
10mm Socket 13mm Socket 21mm Wrench / Socket 9/16” Socket 7/8” Socket
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Chock the rear wheels. Jack up the front of the vehicle and place jack stands directly behi nd the lower control arm mounts on the frame rails. After the vehicle is on jack stands, position a floor jack underneath the front differential. This is to support the axle and to allow the front axle to droop to remove the stock coil springs. Remove the tires and wheels with a 7/8” socket.
2. Remove the sway bar link with a 10mm socket and a 21mm wrench. See Photo 1.

3. Remove the lower shock bolt using a 21mm socket. Note this bolt has a flag nut. Retain hardware for reuse.
4. Remove the push pin wire tie from the box on the axle for movement to remove the coil.
5. Remove the brake line from the mount on top of the ra­dius arm using a 13mm socket.
7. Lower the axle with a jack and remove the factory coil springs. Push on the alignment pin on the isolator and remove
8. Install the supplied flag nut and insert into the frame as shown in Photo 3. Make sure the nut is facing down.

9. Install the new spring spacer and secure with the supplied 3/8” x 3.25” bolt and washe r. Align the hole in the spacer with the hole in the frame. Tighten with a 9/16” socket to 25 ft/lbs. See Photo 4. Do not tighten with an impact.
10. Place the spring isolator on the spacer, align push pin, and insert coil spring. See Photo 5. Repeat on driver side.

11. Raise the axle to reinstall the lower shock mount and lower sway bar link mount. Use the factory hardware and a 21mm socket, with a 10mm socket to tighten the sway bar link and a 21mm wrench and the factory bolt to tighten the lower shock mount.
12. Place the push pin wire tie back into place on the box of the front axle.
13. Bolt the brake line into stock location using factory bolt and a 13mm socket.
14. Install front tires and wheels using a 7/8” socket.
15. Jack up the truck and remove jack stands. Lower the truck to the ground.
POST INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Re torque all fasteners after 500 miles. Visually inspect components and re torque fasteners during routine vehicle service.
2. Readjust headlights to proper settings.
3. Adjust headlights and have the vehicle aligned to factory specifications. Visually check all components for proper working order prior to driving
