RMB-1077 Class D Seven Channel Amplifier
Class D amplifiers are not new. But, to date, many Class D
amplifiers have been relegated to low performance electron-
ics, or limited bandwidth products such as subwoofers. Now,
with ICEpower® technology, Rotel’s new RMB-1077, delivers
full bandwidth, high performance sound with plenty of power
output and ver y low heat and distortion.
Controlled Oscillation Modulation (COM) and Multivariable
Enhanced Cascade Control (MECC). Together, these two
designs form the intelligent power processing (the brains)
of the technology to ensure that the amplifier’s power supply
and output is rock solid even under complex speaker loads
or power supply variations.
The result is a high power, high performance, multichannel
power amplifier that occupies only 2.5” of height; a minimal
amount of space compared to regular amplifiers for heat
dissipation. That’s because the RMB-1077 Class D amplifier
is over 90% efficient and produces almost no heat.
The RMB-1077 of fers up a lot of power in a small package.
At 7 x 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, it is a superb
choice for all but the ver y largest home theater systems.
RB-1091 Class D Mono Amplifier
This incredible new Class D amplifier from Rotel is based upon
the same ICEpower® technology as utilized in the RMB-1077.
The principal dif ference between the two being that RB-1091
produces a prodigious 500 watts mono into 8 ohms from
a 3⁵⁄₈” high chassis. Rotel’s new Class D amplifiers are incred-
ibly power ful and stable and will provide increasing amounts
of voltage and current down to 4 ohm loads.
RB-1092 Class D Stereo Amplifier
The RB-1092 is the stereo version of the RB-1091 Class D
amplifier. It can generate up to 2 x 500 watts into an 8 ohm
load and can drive vir tually any pair of loudspeakers to ver y
loud sound pressure levels when required. When combined
with an RB-1091 and another RB-1092 for a five-channel home
theater system, the sonic result is absolutely breathtaking.
