USING THE UNIT SAFELY
Thank you, and congratulations on your choice of the Roland V-Drums Setting Mat TDM-20/TDM-10.
Before using this mat, carefully read the sections entitled: “USING THE MAT SAFELY” and “IMPORTANT NOTES” (this page). These sections provide important information concerning the proper operation of the mat. Additionally, in order to feel assured that you have gained a good grasp of every feature provided by your new mat, Owner’s manual should be read in its entirety. The manual should be saved and kept on hand as a convenient reference.
Setting Up
• If kick pedal slippage is a concern, attach the hook side of Velcro or other hook-and-loop fastener tape (commercially available) to the underside of the kick pedal. This should help secure the kick pedal.
* Ensure that the spike of the kick trigger pad does not extend more than 5 mm from the rubber foot. Use with the spikes
extending more than 5 mm allows the spikes to penetrate the mat and damage flooring.
