Notice of Change in Items Supplied
with the S-4000 Digital Snake
S-4000S の付属品が変更になりました。
S-4000S 取扱説明書「S-4000S 付属品」（P.13）に記載されている「Cat5e イーサー
ネット・クロスオーバー・ケーブル（10m）」は、付属しません。
付属品の変更に伴い、S-4000S 取扱説明書の記載内容を以下のように訂正します。

REAC-REAC 間の接続には、クロスオーバー・タイプの Cat5e イーサーネット・
ケーブルが必要です。同梱の Cat5e ケーブルは長さが 10m あり、テストおよび小

A change has been made concerning the items supplied with the S-4000 Digital Snake.
The “Cat5e Ethernet crossover cable (10 meters)” listed under “Accessories” on page 19 of the
Owner’s Manual for the S-4000 Digital Snake is no longer supplied with the unit.
In conjunction with this change in the items supplied with the S-4000 Digital Snake, the following
corrections should be made in its Owner’s Manual.

Audio is transferred between the S-4000S and S-4000H via REAC. A single cable REACto-REAC device connection requires a Cat5e Ethernet cable wired in a crossover
configuration. The included Cat5e crossover cable is 10 meters in length, and is
appropriate for testing and small installations. If you require a longer cable length,
you’ll need to provide Cat5e cabling with the appropriate length for your particular
installation circumstances. See Chapter 5 for a discussion about REAC and REAC cable
requirements.
