2. QUICK DEMO
The Quick Demo is a way to get a customer interested in a product in less than
60 seconds.
Before You Start
1. Connect a decent guitar to the input of the amp.
2. The CUBE-80GX is very powerful for its size. Set the Volume and Master
controls to an appropriate level.
3. Set the tone controls to 12:00 (straight up).
4. Press the TUNER Button.
5. Tune the guitar.
6. If you have access to an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, etc.), download the
free CUBE JAM app from the App store. Tap on it to get familiar with its
features.
7. Connect the iOS device to the i-CUBE Link with the included cable.

The Quick Demo: Show the Sound and Power
STEP ONE: Show the JC CLEAN Channel
1. Press the JC CLEAN button. This is the sound of the famous Roland JC120 amp. If you use this amp to demo external effects, use this channel.
2. Play (or have the customer play) some chords and leads appropriate for a
clean guitar sound.
3. Experiment with the EQUALIZER, PRESENCE, EFX, DELAY and
REVERB to check out their sounds.
STEP TWO: Show the LEAD Channel
1. Press the LEAD channel button.

2. Select a LEAD amp tone such as BRIT COMBO, CLASSIC STACK or
EXTREME, depending on the kind of music the customer likes to play.
3. Set the GAIN knob to about 5 to start out. Turn it clockwise for more
distortion and gain.
4. Play (or have the customer play) some chords and leads appropriate for a
lead guitar sound,
5. Experiment with the EQUALIZER, PRESENCE, EFX, and
DELAY/REVERB to check out their sounds.
STEP THREE: Show the SOLO Channel
SOLO is a memory channel. It can store and recall the settings of the other
knobs.
1. Press the SOLO channel button.
2. Play some chords or lead appropriate to the SOLO sound.

STEP FOUR: Show i-CUBE Link and CUBE JAM app
About i-CUBE Link and the CUBE JAM App
CUBE JAM is a free app for iOS that allows playback of MP3 audio from any iOS
audio library through an i-CUBE link equipped amp or any other compatible audio
playback device. Its many features make it perfect for jamming to your favorite
music or practicing new songs or lessons. It can manipulate the speed, pitch and
center content of the audio to suit the player just by tapping and swiping the
icons, and set A/B start/stop loop points for practicing selected sections of songs.
It also can record from any i-CUBE Link amp, including performances along with
the audio library.
1. If you have the CUBE JAM App on an iOS device, play along to the demo
song, and show the SPEED, PITCH and CENTER CANCEL features.
