Product Advisories
The following advisories and cautions apply to the ArmorView Plus 7 terminal.
Product Environmental Ingress Ratings
This product meets the specified NEMA, UL Type, and IEC ratings only when connected to an equivalently-rated coupling. Use of the optional VESA kit (includes a VESA
access cover and an I/O plate) can also meet these ratings. The product is designed to be used with couplers that have the same mounting pattern, such as those shown in
the following table:
RittalHoffmanOther
Supported Coupling
Supported Arm Systems
Supported Pedestal Systems
(1) The arm mount adapter accommodates coupling with four M6 mounting screws 95 x 40 mm (3.74 x 1.58 in.) with a seal that is contained in 80.9 x 123.1 mm
(3.19 x 4.85 in.). The product will only meet specified NEMA, UL Type, and IEC ratings with user-installed accessories (stack light, buttons, indicators, and so
on), if the accessories have equivalent ratings and are installed properly.
This product is designed and rated for low voltage internal components. Use only stack lights, lamps, E-stop buttons, and other components that are supplied by safety
extra low voltage (SELV) or protective extra-low voltage (PELV) power sources.

The ArmorView Plus 7 terminal is sealed in several places with a Foam In Place (FIP) gasket construction. Damage to the FIP gasket
defeats the product environmental ingress performance. Take care when working on the unit to avoid damaging the FIP gasket. The FIP
gaskets are located on the button plate (to seal against the bezel) and on the back cover (to seal against the bezel, against the access
cover, and against the arm mount adapter (or I/O plate)). To assure ingress protection, if the FIP gasket is in any way damaged, replace
the unit with a new one.
