Enclosure Cover Replacement

(Cat 509-TA_)

ATTENTION: To prevent electrical shock, disconnect from power source before installing or servicing.

The enclosure cover is provided with the reset button assembled for the Eutectic or SMP overload relays,
Bulletin 592 -JOV16 or 5 92-A_ _ T fo r the E1-Plu s overload relay, Bul letin 592-E E_T, the fo llowing
modifications must be made:

1. Remove the large nut that secures the reset assembly to the cover.

2. Remove the reset assembly.

3. Add the two plastic rings provided in the plastic bag then the blue reset label with the text toward the plastic

rings.

4. Install the reset assembly into the cover and torque the large nut to to 30 lb.-in.

5. Check for proper reset button travel by manually tripping the overload relay, then install the cover and push the

reset button. remove the cover and check that the overload relay is reset.
