Additional information for escape release and manual release cover versions with separate or fitted key.
Escape release version of TLS-Z power to release — 440G-TZS21UERH
Intended to allow access through the guarding (escape) and not an emergency stop device.
Meets ISO 14119:2013 Clause 5.7.5.2.

Max speed of actuation 160 mm/s
Max force 50 N Minimum distance to release 5 mm (0.2 in.) When the escape release is operated with the switch in the locked condition and with power
applied the OSSD outputs will turn off and the switch will enter a non-recoverable fault (4 Hz red flash) requiring a power cycle to reset.
Fitted manual release cover and fitted key — 440G-TZS21URRH
Intended to allow access through the guarding from the outside of the hazardous area (Emergency situations) and not as an emergency stop device or for routine manual access.
Meets ISO 14119:2013 Clause 5.7.5.3.
Ensure the switch is mounted/protected so as to prevent accidental operation.
When the manual release is operated with the switch in the locked condition and with power applied the OSSD outputs will turn off and the switch will enter a non-recoverable fault (4 Hz red flash) requiring a power cycle to reset
Ensure the knob is fully rotated back to the locked position before resuming operation.
Fitted manual release cover and separate key — 440G-TZS21UARH
Intended to allow access through the guarding from the outside of the hazardous area (exceptional situations) and not as an emergency stop device or for routine manual access.
Meets ISO 14119:2013 Clause 5.7.5.4. When the manual release is operated with the switch in the locked condition and with power
applied the OSSD outputs will turn off and the switch will enter a non-recoverable fault (4 Hz red flash) requiring a power cycle to reset.
Ensure the knob is fully rotated back to the locked position before resuming operation and that key is not left attached.
