Setting up your dock
Connecting power
You can use the AC adapter or batteries to power your dock.
To connect the AC adapter:
• Plug the AC adapter into the DC 5V jack on the back of your dock and
into a power outlet.
To install batteries:
1 Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of your dock.

2 Insert four AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
Make sure that the + and – symbols on the batteries align with the +
and – symbols inside the battery compartment.
3 Replace the battery compartment cover.
Note: When you operate your d ock on battery power, it does not charge a docked iPod
or iPhone.
Installing remote control batteries
To install remote control batteries:
1 Slide the battery compartment cover to open the battery compartment.
2 Insert a CR2025 3V battery (provided) into the battery compartment
with the + side up.
3 Slide the battery compartment cover back into place to close the battery
compartment.

Using your convertible speaker dock
Docking an iPod or iPhone
To dock an iPhone or iPod:
1 Select and insert the correct adapter for your iPhone or iPod. Each
adapter is labled with the specific device it is used for.

2 Insert your iPhone or iPod into the dock.
3 Press to turn on your dock speakers.
4 Press on the remote control or on the docked iPhone or iPod to start
playing a music or video file.
5 To control playback:
• Press to pause or resume playback.
• Press to turn off the speaker sound. Press again to turn the sound
back on.
• Press or to go to the previous or next file.
• Press and hold or to search backward or forward in a file.
• Press (repeat) once to repeat the current file. Press twice to repeat
the entire album or playlist. Press three times to turn off the repeat
feature.

One-year limited warranty
Rocketfish Products (“Rocketfish”) warrants to you, the original purchaser of this new RF-HV3
(“Product”), that the Product shall be free of defects in the original manufacture of the material
or workmanship for one (1) year from the purchase of the Product (“Warranty Period”). This
Product must be purchased from an authorized dealer of Rocketfish brand products and
packaged with this warranty statement. This warranty does not cover refurbished Product. If
you notify Rocketfish during the Warranty Period of a defect covered by this warranty that
requires service, terms of this warranty apply.
How long does the coverage last?
The Warranty Period lasts for one year (365 days), beginning on the date you purchased the
Product. The purchase date is printed on the receipt you received with the product.
What does this warranty cover?
During the Warranty Period, if the original manufacture of the material or workmanship of the
Product is determined to be defective by an authorized Rocketfish repair center or store
personnel, Rocketfish will (at its sole option): (1) repair the Product with new or rebuilt parts; or
(2) replace the Product at no charge with new or rebuilt comparable products or parts. Products
and parts replaced under this warranty become the property of Rocketfish and are not returned
to you. If service of Products and parts are required after the Warranty Period expires, you must
pay all labor and parts charges. This warranty lasts as long as you own your Rocketfish Product
