RocketFish RF-HTS210 Quick Setup Guide

8-outlet Power Manager With Surge Protection
and Noise Filtering
RF-HTS210
Congratulations on your purchase of this Rocketsh Power Manager with surge protection and noise ltering.
Your power manager:
• Reduces energy consumption to save environmental resources and lower your electric bill
• Provides surge protection for sensitive electronic devices
• Incorporates noise ltering to provide clean power that will maximize the performance of your devices.
QUICK SETUP GUIDE
Before using your new product, please read these
instructions to prevent any damage.
1 Main power switch/circuit breaker – controls power to all AC
outlets on the Power Manager, and allows the unit to be reset in the event of a circuit overload (after the overload condition has been resolved).
2 6 ft (1.8 m) Soft-Flex™ power cord with right-angle/o-set
plug – enables placement of the Power Manager in the desired
location. The right-angle plug allows you to place furniture as close as possible to the wall and not block the second AC outlet.
3 One master outlet - controls power to the ve
master-controlled outlets.
4 Three AC adapter spaced outlets – accommodate bulky AC
adapter plugs.
5 Five master-controlled outlets – When the Energy Savings
Switch is ON, these outlets automatically shut down to conserve energy when the device plugged into the master outlet is turned o. When the Energy Savings Switch is OFF, these outlets are always-on.
6 Two always-on outlets – provide continuous power regardless
of Master/Master-controlled outlets state.
7 Power LED indicator - lights to indicate that the power
manager is receiving adequate power from the AC outlet.
8 Protected LED indicator - lights when the surge protection
feature is working properly. If this LED does not light or goes out, the surge protection feature has reached full capacity and can no longer absorb additional surges and spikes. The power manager should be replaced if this light goes out.
9 Grounded LED indicator – lights when a properly grounded AC
outlet is detected. If this LED does not light, we recommend that you contact a certied, licensed electrician to inspect your wiring.
10 Energy Savings (ES) Switch – Turn this switch ON to enable
Energy Savings (the master-controlled outlets are shut down when the the device plugged into the master outlet is turned o.) When this switch is OFF all outlets are always-on.
11 Coaxial cable surge protection – protects your incoming
coaxial cable line from surges and spikes.
Additional features
3,150 joules surge protection – protects your equipment from damaging power surges and spikes.
58 dB EMI/RFI noise ltering – ensures that your equipment receives only clean power for maximum performance.
Audible alarm – sounds when the surge protection feature has reached full capacity and can no longer absorb surges and spikes. The power manager should be replaced if this alarm sounds.
Power cord labels – attach these labels to your power cords (near the plug end) to help identify which cord is attached to which device in the event that one should need to be unplugged for any reason. The labels are pre-printed for convenience, and the blank labels can be customized for unique devices.
Operating instructions
1 Plug your power manager’s power cord into a standard 120V AC
outlet. If the LEDs do not light, press the main power switch/circuit breaker on the front of your power manager.
2 Plug your primary home theater device, such as a TV, into the
Master outlet on your power manager. When you turn o this device or it goes into sleep or standby mode, the devices plugged into the Master-controlled outlets automatically shut o to save power. Note: This feature is enabled when the Energy Saving (ES) Switch is in the ON position. If you want all outlets to be always-on, set this switch to the OFF position.
3 Plug secondary devices, such as a Blu-ray or DVD player, A/V
receiver, or CD player into the Master-controlled outlets on your power manager
Note: Do not plug devices that you may want to use when the device plugged into the Master outlet is turned o because these devices will not receive power.
4 Plug devices that need constant power, such as a DVR/PVR or
devices you want to use when the device plugged into the Master outlet is turned o, into the Always-on outlets.
5 Connect the incoming coaxial cable source (such as the cable
jack on the wall or incoming satellite line) to the coaxial jack marked IN on the Power Manager.
6 Connect another coaxial cable to the cable OUT jack on your
power manager and to the cable IN jack on the TV (when not using a cable or satellite box) or to the cable IN jack on the cable or satellite or TV (if you do not have a cable/satellite box).
7 After all devices have been properly plugged into the Power
Manager and powered on, when you power the primary device that is plugged into the Master outlet on and o, the secondary devices that are plugged into the Master-controlled outlets will automatically power on and o. Devices that are plugged into the Always-on outlets will not be controlled by the primary device, and must be powered on and o separately as desired.
Note: Should the Master-controlled outlets not power on and o as described when the primary device plugged into the Master outlet is powered on and o, it is possible that the primary device draws too much current while in the OFF or STANDBY mode. In the event this should occur with your equipment, try plugging a dierent primary device into the Master outlet.
