Waterpr oof and dustproo f performanc e: • The WG-60 is wate rproof to a depth of 12 mete rs, and for up to two h ours of continuo us operation (eq uivalent to JIS Cla ss 8) and dustproo f (equivalent to JIS Cl ass 6). For unde rwater us e, make sure to o bserve th e following instr uctions and the o peratin g manual to ensure p roper operati ons. •Ensure tha t the airtight se als installed o n the battery/me mory card and te rminal covers ar e free of cracks an d chips, tha t foreign subst ances suc h as sand and dirt h ave been wiped away, and a re securely loc ked before use. •Avoid s ubjecting the c amera to exce ssive shock, suc h as that created b y plunging into wate r. The waterp roof performa nce may drop. •To maintain th e camera’s waterpro of performan ce, it is recomme nded to exchange the w aterproof pack ing once a yea r. Images t aken with the p urpose of obtain ing copyrights also cannot be used outside the scope of use of the copyright as laid out in the Copyright Act; care also should be taken in this area . •The liquid c rystal panel u sed for the monito r is manufac tured using extremely high precision technology. Although the level of functioning pixels is 99.99% or better, you should be aware that 0.01% or fewer of the p ixels may not i lluminate, or may il luminate when they should n ot.
