DETAILS OF MODIFICATION

To prevent from the problem that

1. The voice request might not function when stop key was pressed on the Rx terminal.

2. The multi copy could no t be done, when the specified cassette was selected, and there was no paper in the lower cassette.

3. If there were a lot of files in the memory, the scanning speed might be slow.

4. When the machine is in DP(Dial Pulse) mode, the DI relay h ad gone ON/OFF when the volume adjustment was done by fun ction 83.

5. The wording for European software has been changed, in accord ance with European requirements.

6. To implement the request from Sweden, the NCU parameters have been changed, as follows.
BXDAT 1 (414D) = OFFH → 05H
BXDAT 2 (414E) = OFFH → 12H
BXDAT 3 (414F) = OFFH → 03H
BXDAT 4 (4150) = OFFH → 40H
BXDAT 5 (4151) = OFFH → 96H
BXDAT 6 (4152) = OFFH → 32H
BXDAT 7 (4153) = OFFH → 96H
BXDAT 8 (4154) = OFFH → 03H

7. To meet the Australian PTT standards, the number of redials and NCU parameter have been changed.

REASONS FOR MODIFICATION

1. Dialing signal errors in On Hook Dial mode, and the machine could not hang up.

2. If T1 is set to 100 or over using the Dedicated Transmission Parameters, parameters for other fax numbers could not be
set.

3. Messages with ECM frame size set to 64 bytes could not be received.

4. The Part number of the ROM should be listed on the System Parameter list.

5. Change in Spanish and Swedish wording

6. The machine could no t be operated w hen 298 dest inations have bee n input using memory transmission or polling
reception (or both).

7. To meet the Switzerland PTT standards (Switzerland OMA requirements).

8. To meet the Swedish PTT standards.

9. The OPC co unter should be listed o n the User Parameter List.

10. The Initial level (service or user) of CSI p rogramming and PD/DTMF selection has been changed. (Europe only)

11. The amount of remaining memory ( ad dress 4055) has been change d from 0 byte to 24K bytes. (USA and Asia only)

12. Bit switches and RTI could not be changed by RDS.

13. The machine printed the p e rsonal codes on t he repo rts, even if the restricted access is used.

1. When the printer fails and stops, and there have been more than 45 communications some older communications are
listed on the TCR.

2. To prevent defective PSRAM access, the software has been changed, as follows.

• When the machine is reset, the software jumps to 8080H.

3. To meet the Swedish PTT standards (Europe version only)

4. In handset mode and when using immediate transmission, a Transmission Result Report will be printed out.

5. With memory transmission, if the other party picks up the handset and hangs it up after the CNG signal is sent out,
"(2) BUSY" is indicated on reports.

6. To meet the Norweg ian PTT standards, ringing detection time has been changed. (Europe version only)
