Vor Inbetriebnahme Ihrer
Re:sound L -Lautsprecher sollten
Sie die folgenden Hinweise beachten, damit sich die klanglichen Qualitäten voll entfalten
können.
Bei der Konzeption dieser Lautsprecher haben wir größten
Wert auf ihre tonale Ausgeglichenheit gelegt. Die aufwändige Frequenzweiche stellt
Re:sound L
sicher, dass einerseits jeder
Lautsprecher für sich in seinem
optimalen Bereich arbeitet und
andererseits alle Lautsprecher
zusammen in absoluter Harmonie zueinander betrieben
werden. Das Ergebnis ist ein
Lautsprecher, dessen holographische Abbildung des musikalischen Geschehens keinen
Vergleich zu scheuen braucht.
Wir freuen uns Ihnen diesen
Ausnahmeschallwandler anbieten zu dürfen.
Hinweis
Leder ist ein Naturprodukt und
erfordert besondere Pflege.
Zudem können sich durch starke
Sonneneinstrahlung Farbveränderungen einstellen. Beachten
Sie bitte dazu die Hinweise in
den Kapiteln Aufstellung und

Wir empfehlen Ihnen, das Verpackungsmaterial für einen
eventuellen späteren Transport
aufzubewahren.

Aufstellung allgemein
Die Lautsprecher sind richtig
platziert, wenn diese mit Ihrem
bevorzugten Hörplatz ein
Dreieck mit etwa gleich langen
Seiten biIden. Dabei sollten die
Lautsprecher aus einer akustisch harten, reflexionsfähigen
Umgebung in den stärker
bedämpften Teil des Hörraumes
strahlen. Die besten klanglichen
Ergebnisse erzielt man bei Aufstellung in Ohrhöhe (± 30 cm).
Bitte beachten Sie, dass großflächige, glatte Wände auf der
den Lautsprechern gegenüber
liegenden Seite immer zu unangenehmen Reflexionen führen
können. Die Schallabstrahlung
sollte nicht durch Gegenstände
behindert werden, d. h. zu den
Lautsprechern sollte Sichtverbindung bestehen.
Re:sound L
Aufstellung im Regal
Achten Sie bei einer Regalaufstellung darauf, dass der
Abstand zwischen den Lautsprechern und anderen Gegenständen mindestens 20 cm
beträgt. Dadurch gewährleistet
man eine korrekte Schallabstrahlung sowie eine effiziente
Wirkung der Bassreflexöffnung.
Aufstellung als Center-LS
Der Re:sound L 34 kann dank
seiner sehr homogenen Abstrahlung (vertikal und horizontal) auch liegend betrieben
werden. Dadurch ist es möglich
den Re:sound L 34 als CenterLautsprecher im Heinkino einzusetzen. Beachten Sie bitte
auch die linke Abb. Stereo-
Dreieck.

Achtung Sonneneinstrahlung
Vermeiden Sie Aufstellungsorte
mit hoher Sonneneinstrahlung.
Durch den UV-Lichtanteil im
Sonnenlicht kann es ansonsten
zu Farbveränderungen kommen, die irreversibel sind.

Anschluss der Lautsprecher
ACHTUNG!
Vor dem Herstellen der notwendigen Verbindungen zu Ihrer
HiFi-Anlage (Vollverstärker,
Receiver, Endstufe etc. ) sollten
Sie diese in jedem Fall vom Netz
trennen.
Verbinden Sie die Lautsprecherausgänge A oder B auf der
Rückseite Ihres Verstärkers mit
den entsprechenden Schraubklemmen an den Lautsprechern.
Verwenden Sie dafür Lautsprecherkabel mit abisolierten
Enden.
Hierbei ist auf richtige Polung
zu achten; nur so erreichen Sie
eine perfekte Bühnenabbildung
in Ihrem Hörraum:

Minuspol Verstärker –
Minuspol Lautsprecher
Eine Falschpolung verursacht
freilich keine Schäden, weder
am Lautsprecher noch am Verstärker, aber ein ungenaues,
bassarmes und diffuses Klangbild sind deren Folge.

Kabellänge & Querschnitt
Revox-Lautsprecher weisen
einen ausgeglichenen elektrischen Impedanz- und Phasenverlauf auf und stellen für den
Endverstärker sowie die Lautsprecherkabel eine unkritische
Last dar.
Ihr Fachhändler hält Lautsprecherkabel in unterschiedlichen Ausführungen und
Querschnitten bereit und berät
Sie gerne individuell.
Um die Leitungsverluste jedoch
möglichst gering zu halten,
empfehlen wir, die Kabelquerschnitte wie folgt zu
dimensionieren:
Kabellänge Querschnitt
bis 5m: ∅ 2.5 mm
bis 20 m: ∅ 4.0 mm
Von größeren Kabellängen (ab
ca. 20 m ) raten wir aufgrund
unvermeidlicher (Klang-) Verluste
ab.

Belastbarkeit
Die Angabe der Belastbarkeit
auf dem Typenschild Ihrer
Revox Lautsprecher bezieht
sich auf linear eingestellte
Klangregler am Verstärker.
Es ist möglich, diese Lautsprecher an Verstärkern zu
betreiben, deren Ausgangsleistung höher ist.
Dabei muss aber beachtet
werden, dass die Lautstärke nur
so weit erhöht wird, bis das Ohr
- meist zuverlässig - eine Überlastung meldet. Dieses Anzeichen
äußert sich rechtzeitig durch
starkes Anwachsen von Verzerrungen im Klangbild.
Durch eine Kurzzeitüberlastung
nehmen Ihre Revox-Lautsprecher keinen Schaden.
Sollten die Lautsprecherchassis
durch eine längere Überlastung
beschädigt worden sein, so ist
dies von dem zuständigen
Servicetechniker zweifelsfrei
feststellbar. Eine Garantieleistung durch Revox ist dann
nicht gegeben.

Pflege
team by wellis verwendet
ausschließlich Leder, welches
fleckenunempfindlich und abwaschbar ist. Deshalb können Sie ihre
Re:sound L Lautsprecher sehr
einfach pflegen. Reinigen Sie die
Lederoberfläche mit einem
weichen Seifenwasser, wischen
Sie mit sauberen, reinen Wasser
nach und lassen Sie es gut
trocknen. Danach kann mit einem
Wolllappen nachpoliert werden.
Bei der Reinigung ist darauf zu
achten, dass kein Wasser mit
den einzelnen Lautsprecherchassis in Berührung kommt
bzw. in die Reflexöffnung auf
der Lautsprecherrückseite eindringen kann.

the full quality of your Re:sound
L speakers, you should read
through the following information before setting your
speakers up.
We placed a lot of emphasis on
their tonal balance when
developing the concept for
these speakers.

Note
Leather is a natural product and
calls for special care. Exposure
to direct sunlight can cause

Installation of the speakers
Your speakers are set up
correctly, if your favourite
listening position and the
speakers form an approximately
equilateral triangle. The
speakers should radiate from an
acoustically hard environment
with good reverberation
characteristics into the more
energised part of the listening
area. The best sound results
can be achieved if the speakers
are positioned roughly at ear
height (± 30 cm/ ± 12 in).
Please note that positioning the
speakers opposite to large and
smooth walls can always cause
unpleasant reflections. The
sound radiation should not be
impeded by the presence of
other objects between you and
the speakers. You should have
a clear line of sight to your
speakers.

Installation as Shelf speaker
When installing your speakers
on shelves, you must ensure
that there is a distance of at
least 20 cm between the
speakers and any other objects.
This guarantees correct sound
radiation as well as achieving
an efficient effect from the bass
reflex opening.
Installation as Center speaker
The L 34 can also be operated
when installed horizontally,
thanks to its very homogeneous
emissions, both vertically and
horizontally. This makes it
possible to deploy the Re:sound
L 34 as a Center speaker for
home cinema. Please also see
the previous figure, Stereo
triangle.

Warning: Exposure to sunlight
Avoid installing the speaker in a
location where it will be
exposed to direct sunlight.
Otherwise, the UV in the sun’s
rays can cause irreversible
colour changes to the leather.

Connecting the speakers
LEASE NOTE

Before connecting the speakers
to your hi-fi system (amplifier,
receiver, power amplifier etc.),
make sure this has been fully
unplugged from the mains.
Connect the speaker outputs A
or B on the back of your
amplifier to the corresponding
terminal screws on the
speakers, having first removed
the insulation from the ends of
the speaker cables.
You must be careful to keep the
correct polarity in order to
ensure perfect stage sound
reproduction.
Positive pole of the amplifier to
the positive pole of the speaker
Negative pole of the amplifier
to the negative pole of the
speaker
Crossed polarity doesn't cause
any damage to the speaker or
the amplifier, but it leads to an
imprecise, bassy and somewhat
diffused sound picture.

Cable Length & Cross Section
Revox loudspeakers have
balanced electrical impedance
and phase characteristics and
represent an uncritical load for
the power amplifier and the
loudspeaker cables.
Your specialist dealer stocks
loudspeaker cables in various
styles and with different cross
sections and will be glad to
advise you according to your
individual needs.
In order to keep cable loss as
low as possible however, we
suggest the following cable
cross section dimensioning
scheme:

up to 5m / 16ft: 2.5 mm2 / AWG15
up to 20m / 66ft: 4.0 mm
We advise against using long
cables (more than 20 m / 66
feet), because of the inevitable
sound loss.

Power handling capacity
The power handling capacity
stated on the type plate of your
Revox loudspeakers refers to
an amplifier with tone control
set to linear.
It is possible to use these
loudspeakers with amplifiers
rated for a higher power output.
In this case however, you must
ensure that the volume is only
turned up to a level where your
ear, which is usually a reliable
measure, starts to notice an
overload. First signs of overload
are a heavy increase in
distortions in the sound picture.
Your Revox speakers will not be
damaged by a short-term overload.
If the speaker chassis should be
damaged by a longer-term overload, this can be identified very
readily by a trained service
technician. In this case, your
rights under the term of the
Revox warranty are cancelled.
Re:sound L
Maintenance
team by wellis uses exclusively
leather which is resistant to
stains and can be wiped clean.
This makes caring for your
Re:sound L speaker very easy.
Clean the surface of the leather
with gentle, soapy water, wipe off
with clean water and dry it well.
Then polish the leather up with a
suitable cloth.
Make sure that no water comes
into contact with the individual
speaker chassis during cleaning
or makes it way into the reflex
opening in the rear of the
speaker.

free, without accessories to
your national Sales Office. In all
cases, you should include a

Your product is designed and
manufactured from high-quality
materials and components that
can be recycled and reused.
If this symbol of a crossed-out,
wheeled rubbish container is on
the product, this means that it is
covered by the EU Directive
2002/96/EG. Please inform

electrical and electronic products.
