F IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning – for additional protection the installation of a residual current device
(RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in
the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask an electrician for advice.
1 This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they
are older than 8 and super vised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach
of children under 8 years.
2 Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in except when
charging.
3 Keep the power plug and cord away from heated surfaces.
4 Make sure the power plug and cord do not get wet.
5 Do not plug or unplug the appliance with wet hands.
6 Do not use the product with a damaged cord. A replacement can be
obtained via our International Service Centres.
7 Do not twist or kink the cable, or wrap it round the appliance.
8 Store the product at a temperature between 15°C and 35°C .

C GETTING STARTED
It is recommended that you use your new shaver daily for up to four week s to
allow time for your beard and skin to become accustomed to the new shaving
system.
, CHARGING YOUR SHAVER
• Ensure the product is switched o.
• Connect the shaver to the adapter and then to the mains.
• When charging a square pattern will cycle around the display.
• Charge for at least 24 hours when using for the rst time.
• Once the shaver batteries are fully charged, the display will ash “60”.
• Use the product until the batter y is low as indicated by the digital display
showing “Lo”.
•To preserve the life of your bat teries, let them run out every 6 months then recharge for 24 hours.
• When empt y, the batter y will be charged within 120 minutes
• The shaver automatically adjusts to a mains voltage between 100V and
240 V.
, CORDED USE
•Connect the shaver to the adaptor, then to the mains and recharge for 5 minutes before use.
, CAUTION
•Extended mains only use will result in the reduction of the batter y life.
F INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
, SHAV ING
• Make sure your shaver is properly charged.
• Switch the shaver on.
• Stretch the skin with your free hand so the hairs stand upright.
• Hold the shaving head so that the foils touch your face.
• Use short, linear strokes.
, TRIMMING
• Switch the appliance on.
• Push the trimmer release button.
• Hold the trimmer at a right angle to your sk in.

•To retract the trimmer, push the top rear of the trimmer downward until it locks under the trimmer release button.
E Tips for best results
•Ensure your skin is dry. Always hold the shaver at right angles to the skin so
that all three heads are touching the skin with equal pressure.
•Use moderate to slow stroking movements. The use of shor t linear motions in stubborn areas may obtain a closer shave, especially along the neck and
chin line.
•DO NOT press hard against the skin in order to avoid damage to the foil
heads.
C CARE FOR YOUR SHAVER
• Care for your appliance to ensure a long lasting performance.
• We recommend you clean your product after each use.
• The easiest and most hygienic way to clean the appliance is by rinsing the
appliance head after use with warm water.
•Keep the switch in the “o” position when not in use.
, DRY CLEANING
• Ensure the appliance is switched o and unplugged from the mains.
• Pull the foil assembly up to remove from the hair pocket.
• Tap out the excess hair shavings and use a cleaning brush if necessary.
• Do not clean the shaving foil with a brush.
• Replace the head assembly.
, WASHABLE CLEANING
• Ensure the shaver is switched o and unplugged from the mains.
• Pull the foil assembly up to remove from the hair pocket.
• Foils – do not use the brush to clean the foils. Instead, rinse the foils under
cold or warm water.
•Cutters and Trimmers – Rinse any loose hairs away in cold or warm water. Do not use hot water.
• After cleaning, replace the head assembly.
• Do not submerge in water as damage will occur.
, CLEANING TRIMMER
•Lubricate the teeth of the trimmer every six months with a drop of sewing machine oil.

, REPLACING THE FOILS AND CUTTERS
•To ensure the continued highest quality performance from your shaver, we
recommend that the foil and cutter are replaced regularly.
, Signs that your foils and cutters need replacing.
• Irritation: as foils get worn, you may experience skin irritation.
• Pulling: as the cutters wear, your shave may not feel as close and you may
feel the cutter pulling your hair.
•Wear through: you may notice that the cutters have worn through the foils.
, TO REPLACE THE FOIL
• Pull the foil assembly up to remove from the hair pocket.
• Insert new foil assembly in hair pocket until it snaps into place.
, Replacing the Cutters
• Grasp the cutter between your thumb and forenger and pull upwards.
• Snap the new cutter into the oscillator tip.
, Note: DO NOT press on the cutter ends as this may cause damage.
, Foils head replacement model: SPF300
, TROUBLESHOOTING
•If your shaver battery is completely empty or the shaver has not been used
for an extended period of time, the shaver may not start when operated
using the cord. If this occurs, a 5 minute quick charge will allow for 3 minutes
of shaving.
BATTERY REMOVAL
• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
• The appliance must be disconnec ted from the supply mains when removing
the bat tery.
• Using a small screwdriver, pry o the 2 side panels.
• Using a Philips screwdriver remove the 4 screws from the front of the shaver
and remove the front housing.
• Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the 8 screws from the front of the shaver.
• Remove and open the core from the shaver to expose the batteries.
• Cut the wires connecting the batteries to the circuit board and remove the
batteries.
•Dispose of the batteries safely.
