How To Use
Preparing the Cleaning System
1. Lift the upper housing off the unit. Remove the trapdoor from solution cup (foil
cleaning only). Remove the cleaning solution cup from the base.
2. Pour approximately 4oz. of solution into the cup, making sure the liquid level is
within the textured band visible on the inside of the cup.
3. Place one filter into the solution cup.
4. Place the trapdoor back in the solution cup (foil cleaning only).
5. Place the cup back inside the lower base and replace the upper housing.
6. Plug the power adaptor into the cleaning base and then into the wall outlet.
Operating the Cleaning System
For best results, run the cleaning cycle after each shave. If you have used your
shaver for multiple days between cleanings, or you notice excessive buildup on the
cutters, you may need to turn the shaver ON for 60 seconds during the cleaning
cycle.
Cleaning
1. Ensure the pop-up trimmer is in the down position.
2. Place the shaver head-down in the opening on the top of the cleaning base.
Make sure the ledge on the inside of the cleaning base opening is aligned with
the trimmer in order to position the shaver in the correct orientation for cleaning.
3. Press the ON button to start the cleaning cycle. The cleaning cycle will run
for approximately 4 minutes. Once the cleaning cycle has begun it will run to
completion. Pressing the On button again will not pause or stop the cleaning
cycle. During this time, DO NOT remove the shaver from the base.
4. When the cleaning cycle has completed, a fan will turn on to assist in drying
the shaver. When the fan turns off (after approximately 4 hours), the process is
complete.
NOTE: For rotary cleaning systems, press down the shaver power button for 5
seconds to initiate the shaver cleaning cycle. Place the shaver in the cleaning base
and follow the cleaning direction steps 1-4.
NOTE: The shaver cannot charge in the cleaning base, only in the charging dock
connected to the cleaning base or using the charging adaptor.
NOTE: During the cleaning and drying cycle, the charging stand will not function. To
charge your shaver, wait until the drying cycle has completed.
Cleaning Solution
For best results, ensure the solution is filled to the appropriate level before each
cleaning cycle. With daily use, it may be necessary to add solution every 3-4 days.
After 14 days of use, the solution and filter should be discarded and replaced
entirely.
To replace the cleaning solution:
1. Remove the cup from the base unit. Remove the trapdoor (if applicable).
2. Dispose of the solution in a sink or toilet.
3. Rinse any remaining debris from the cup using water.
4. Dry the cup.
5. Fill the cup with fresh solution.
6. Place one filter into the solution cup. Replace the trapdoor (if applicable).
7. Replace the cup into the base unit.

Please Read
Remington’s proprietary cleaning solution contains lubricants and
conditioners that keep your shaver working like new and extends the life of
the cutting system. For most effective results, it is recommended to clean
your electric shaver after every use. After each cleaning cycle, allow 24 hours
for your shaver to dry.
NOTE: In areas of high humidity or low temperatures, your shaver may be slightly
damp after 24 hours following the cleaning cycle. If this is the case, use a soft
towel to gently pat dry the shaver screens or simply turn the shaver on for a few
seconds before shaving to remove the moisture.
Additional Cleaning Instructions
For most effective results, perform a deep cleaning cycle once per week. This
will prevent excessive buildup in corners and other hard to clean areas. To perform a deep cleaning cycle, follow the
directions below:
1. Load the shaver in the base as usual
2. Turn the PowerClean system ON
3. Turn the shaver ON (while in the base) for 60 seconds
4. Turn the shaver OFF and allow the cycle to finish as usual
