5. Due to the varying direction body hair grows the Foil Shaver may require multiple
passes to remove all hair.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Always clean Grooming System attachments regularly to ensure maximum performance and a proper operating life. The trimmer is washable so it can be used in the shower or rinsed under water during cleaning. Therefore, to maintain performance of cutters, oil after rinsing.
Cleaning Cautions
The handheld unit should be detached from the power supply cord before cleaning.
Only the attachments and combs may be removed for cleaning.
Cleaning should be done with a soft brush.
Only use a light-grade oil, such as sewing machine oil. These oils will not
evaporate or slow down the blades.
Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the units or their cutters.
Do not apply pressure or hard objects to cutters.
Do not disassemble cutter assembly.
There are no user serviceable parts.
CLEANING TRIMMER ATTACHMENTs WITH BRUSH / WATER
Thoroughly brush and blow out hair clippings from cutter system, attachment, and handle.
Rinse the attachment under warm running water. Do NOT use extremely hot water, as this might cause damage to components.
CLEANING FOIL SHAVER
Do NOT oil foil shaver attachment as this is permanently lubricated.
Press release buttons inward at sides of screen head.
Remove head and shake out clippings. Blow off cutter assembly.
Replace head, snapping in place to secure.
OILING BLADES & CAUTIONS
Rinsing attachments under water (above) requires lubricating the cutting blades. Using only light-grade oils (e.g. sewing machine oil), simply spread 1-2 drops lightly over cutters with fingertip. Wipe away all excess.
Use only light-grade oils as these will not evaporate nor slow down speed of cutting blades.
Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene nor solvent, as these too will evaporate.
