Instrument panel
Normally the display shows the actual boiler water temperature per 10 ºC (temperature mode). For example, a 6 on the display means that the temperature is 60ºC ± 5ºC. By keep pressing
de ‘prog’ key briefl y, you will be able to choose from the following 5 modes:Temperature mode (no red dot), Programming mode (red dot is illuminated), Service mode (red dot is fl ashing),
‘forced High’ mode (h) and ‘forced Low’ mode (l).
Programming
The programming options are divided into six groups (I to VI). In programming mode a number of important settings can be changed, for example, the desired hot water temperature and fl ow.
By briefl y pressing the ‘prog’ key once while in temperature mode, the letter P appears on the display. If you then press the ‘prog’ key for more than1 sec, the letter ‘P’ fl ashes twice and you
will go into programming mode. If you now keep pressing on the ‘prog’ key, the numbers and letters of the relevant parameter will appear on the display and will return to the ‘temp’-display
automatically. They are indicated by symbols ranging from 1 to F and have the following meaning:
In each group only one setting can be active. After activating the setting, the red dot will fl ash. If you want to select a different setting, keep the ‘prog’ key pressed in for more than 1 sec on the
selected setting. This choice will then become active. The displayed number or the displayed letter will fl ash twice to confi rm this. If you press the ‘prog’ key again after reaching the end of the
list (option F), the letter P will reappear on the display. If you now keep the ‘prog’ key pressed in for more than 1 sec, you will exit programming mode and go into service mode. Any setting
which has been changed, will be saved automatically.
Group Option Description Explanation
I
(Combi
only)
1
Pre-heat level 1: heat maintenance temp. 0 °C
With each pre-heat level the hot water system is at least kept at the corresponding
temperature. The higher the level, the sooner you have hot water. The lower the level,
the more economical the appliance is.
2
Pre-heat level 2: heat maintenance temp. 40 °C
3
Pre-heat level 3: heat maintenance temp. 50 °C
4*
Pre-heat level 4: heat maintenance temp. According to parameter r/4
Work setting r/4 = 37 °C
II
5
CH ‘ON’ and DHW ‘ON’
In a holiday period you can use the 6 setting to prevent the DHW system from being
kept warm. With your room thermostat you can determine whether your house is kept
warm.
6
CH ‘ON’ and DHW ‘OFF
III
7
DHW temperature 45 °C
With this option you can set the maximum DHW temperature.
8
DHW temperature 55 °C
9*
Hot water temperature according to parameter 3/3
Work setting 3/3 = 50 °C
IV
A
CH fl ow temperature 60 °C
In the less cold periods of the year the radiators need not be heated to the same extent.
With these parameters you can lower the fl ow temperature. This is not necessary if you
have a modulating controller or outside sensor connected.
B
CH fl ow temperature 75 °C
C*
CH fl ow temperature according to parameter 1/1
Work setting 1/1 = 80 °C
V
D*
Pump overrun according to parameter 2/2
Work setting 2/2 = 3 minutes
If there is danger of your heating system freezing, continuous water circulation is
advisable. Setting ‘E’ recognises this.
E
Pump continuous circulation
VI
F
Pump position during CH-operation. Parameter F selected (red dot is
fl ashing) means: pump is circulating at high speed
With this parameter you can choose whether the pump circulates at high speed or at low
speed during CH operation. To change this parameter, keep the ‘prog’ Key pressed in
for more than 1 sec.

Before starting your central heating boiler:
1. Check system is full of water and at correct
pressure
(should be confi rmed by your installer)
2. Check power supply to boiler and controls
3. Check gas supply is on
4. Check controls are calling for heat (time
clock etc.)
IF IN DOUBT CONTACT YOUR INSTALLER
In the event of a failure, please check the
following:
1. The gas supply is on
2. Power supply to boiler and controls are on
3. The room thermostat and/or controller is
calling for heat
4. Is the boiler display showing a fl ashing
failure code?
This means the boiler is ‘locked out’
If at ‘lock out’ record the fl ashing failure code and
press the reset button. The boiler may start, if it
fails and goes to lockout again record the failure
code again and call your Installer for assistance
quoting these codes.
