Thank you for purchasing a RadioShack In-Ear Earbud
Headset. Your headset allows handsfree operation of your
2-way radio. It is c ompatible with the Motorola FR50, F R6 0,
T289, T510 0, T5200, T6200, T6300 series, and
RadioShack 21-1854, 21-1863 and 21-1864 FRS radios.

To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines when you
use an earphone.
• Set the volume to the lowest setting before you begin
listening. After yo u begi n lis tening , ad just t he vol ume t o
a comfortable level.
• Do not listen a t extrem ely hig h volume levels. Extended
high-volume listening can lead to permanent hearing
loss.
• Once you set the volum e, do no t increa se it. O ver tim e,
your ears adapt to the volume level, so a volume level
that does not cause discomfort might still damage your
hearing.

Do not use an earphone with your 2-way radio when
operating a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle in or near
traffic. Doing so can create a traffic hazard and could be
illegal in some areas.
If you use an earphone with your 2-way radio while riding a
bicycle, be very careful. Do not listen to a continuous
broadcast. Even th ough som e earphone s let you hear some
outside sounds when li stening at norma l volume level s, they
still can present a traffic hazard.
