Your remote requires two AA batteries (not
supplied) for power. For the best
performance and longest life, we
recommend RadioShack alkaline batteries.

1. Unseal the flap on the rem ot e, th en pul l
out the battery compartment.
2. Use a Phillips screw driv er to loo se n th e
screw on the battery compartment
cover, then remove the cover.
3. Place two AA alkaline batteries in the
compartment as indicated by the
polarity symbols (+ and –) marked
inside.
4. Replace the cov er and secu re it with the
screw.
5. Replace the battery compartment and
seal the flap.
6. When the remote stops operating
properly, replace the batteries within 10
minutes of removing the ol d batteries .
Otherwise, the programmed settings
and codes will be lost.
