Passive vented enclosure subwoofer
These subwoofer feature neodymium magnet speaker, ISV coils, and double
Silicon Spiders to optimise mechanical excursion and preserve system
linearity. Double Demodulating Rings grant low distortion and an excellent
sound quality. Their 18 mm birch plywood cabinet is finished with a thick
layer of resistant non-scratch Protector coat paint. Both passive versions and
active processed versions with stereo crossovers, class D amplifiers and
switching power supplies are available. Therefore, these systems allow the
creation of systems with whatever kind of high to low balance when used in
combination with the various satellites in the NEOS Series. In order to
configure a complete passive system, we recommend use of either the
ASO25 Active System Optimiser or of the DSO26. The optimal frequency cut
for NEOS115SP ranges from 125 Hz to 160 Hz.
