engineers have now succeeded in enhancing

Thanks to additional technologies fitted as
standard, such as Porsche Dynamic Chassis
Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring
Plus (PTV Plus) and air suspension with
Porsche Active Suspension Management

Drive and chassis: beyond compare.
An enduring Porsche principle: maximum
performance. Uncompromisingly embodied
by the new CayenneTurboS. At its heart,
a 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
An output of 570hp is complement ed by
maximum torque of 590 lb.-ft. – between
2,500 and 4,000rpm. 0 to 60 mph in
3.8seconds and a top track speed of
176mph. The figures alone are enough
to set your pulse racing. Not to mention
the driving experience itself. However,
superlative performance is not expressed in
power alone, but also in efficiency levels.
These are impressively high thanks to
technologies such as VarioCam Plus,
charge-air cooling, the Auto Start Stop
function and direct fuel injection (DFI).
This injects fuel directly into the combustion
chamber with millisecond precision –
designed for an optimum air/fuel mix and
enhanced combustion. Active air flaps
ensure optimized aerodynamics – thereby
boosting fuel economy.
Power is transmitted to the road with
precision by Porsche Traction Management
(PTM) active all-wheel drive. This helps to
ensure optimum distribution of force – for
greater traction and driving dynamics.
Fitted as standard, 8-speed TiptronicS
translates this power into phenomenal
drive. Fast, sporty gear changes are
enabled by the two gearshift paddles on the
standard multifunction sports steering
wheel derived from the 918 Spyder super
sports car.

need a strong foundation. On the Cayenne
TurboS, this is provided by the chassis. It
comes with air suspension featuring self-
leveling and ride-height control with Porsche
Active Suspension Mana gement (PASM).
Self-leveling ensures a constant ride height.
The ground clearance can be adjusted
using the rocker switch on the center con-
sole. PASM actively and continuously
adjusts the damping force on each wheel,
based on road conditions and driving style.
You can select one of three modes: Comfort,
SPORT or SPORTPLUS. For an even sportier
setup and greater stability. The results:
either more comfort or much more agile,
dynamic handling.
This is further helped by Porsche Torque
Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), also included as
standard, with variable torque distribution
to the rear wheels and electronically
controlled rear differential. By applying
brake pressure selectively to the left or
right wheel, it enhances steering response
and precision.
Standard Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control
(PDCC) optimizes road holding and driving
dynamics still further and reduces lateral
body movement when cornering.
For even greater control, Power steering
Plus adapts the steering forces based on
the vehicle speed. For exceptional steering
comfort at all times.
