Battery warning



Always charge using the provided system. Improper handling

of the battery may result in explosion.



Never dismantle or pierce the battery or allow the battery to

Disposed of used batteries observing local regulations.

Never replace the battery on your own; have the dealer do

If you notice smoke or a strange smell coming from the

device, turn the power off immediately. Take the device to the

 Wi-Fi Signals are unable to pass through the building. The

upper limit of signal transmission is 10m.

 The product employs wireless data communication which

may interfere, or be interfered by, a near-by device.

Radio wave reception may be worsened in specific

environments.

 Please be advised that if another device is also using the

same 2.4GHz band as this product, the processing speed of
both devices may slow down.

 This product gets warm when in use; this is normal.



Improper use or operation of the product may result in

damage of the product or its accessories and void the
warranty.

 This product is unsuitable for filming any barcode.



The camera has become too hot and needs to cool down

after using over than 1 hour (continuous recording). Simply

shut down for cooling before attempting to use it again. It

won’t damage the camera, it is only for reminding the user

that the temperature of the equipment cannot be too high.

Before you start using the system, it is assumed that
you agree to the above statement. The warranty does

not cover any damage that may occur during a sport
activity. It is the users’ responsibility to secure the
camera securely to any sport equipment.

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing this Wi-Fi optical zoom Drving Recorder。

Please carefully read the instruction manual before using, in order to

better use the product.

The product supports more than Android4.0 intelligent devices and

iOS 6.0 or more iPhone / iPad

1.1 System requirements

2. Getting started

2.1 Startup/Shutdown

Startup

1. Manual startup: Long press the power key to turn on the machine, the LED

lamp will be lit on, and the lens will automatically extend outwards, which
means that the machine can be used;

2. Automatic startup: Connect the car charger to the car cigarette lighter and the
machine, and when the car is started up, the machine will be automatically
turned on and automatically start to record the video cyclically.

Shutdown

1. Manual shutdown: Press the power key to shut down the machine. When

the machine battery is low, the battery indicator lamp will turn red and
blink, and several seconds later, the machine will be automatically shut
down.

2. Automatic shutdown: After the car stalls, the machine will continue to work

for 10sec and then be automatically shut down.

2.2

Install APP applications

Please install Polaroid SZ514W application on the intelligent device
before using this camera (as the following icon), if the installation
has been done, please update to the latest version.

Android version

Search Polaroid SZ514W in the Google Play, and install it

iOS search Polaroid SZ514W in APP Store and install it

Open WIFI to connect with intelligent device

Connect this camera with intelligent device through Wi-Fi

1. Turn on the power of the camera and open the WIFI button

2. Select “Set” in the intelligent device [Android/iOS], and then select “Wi-Fi”

3. Select the SSID of the camera to be connected: SZ514W**********

4. Enter the password “1234567890” (For the first time only);

5. Return to the main page, and then start “Polaroid SZ514W”

2.3 Install this camera to intelligent device

2.3.1.Fix the camera and the attached lens on the parts bracket, as

shown in the figure below:

2.3.2 Installing in Vehicles，

Mount to Windshield

The bracket screw lock into the device above the nut hole, until cannot

rotatescrews have been locking.

The interface and function of the application may vary depending on
different versions of applications, please visit the update of Google
Play and APP Store for details.

With the suction-cup laying flat, position the suction-cup on the
windshield.

Hold the base firmly on the windshield and press down the clamp to
mount the car holder to the windshield. Make sure the base is
securely locked in place.

Plug the other end of the car adapter to the cigarette lighter socket of
your vehicle. Once the vehicle engine is started, the device
automatically turns on.

Note:

This product shall be installed near the back-mirror, at the center of

windshield, if possible, for optimal viewing.

３. Initial Settings

３.１ Mode selection：

 This product has three optional mode: photo mode, video

mode and playback mode

 The camera mode can capture a still image, adjust the settings

of the camera；



Video mode can record video；

 Playback modes can browse photos and video, you can also

delete,Download photos.

Select the mode according to the following steps

１、After power-on default settings for the camera mode.
２、In the "Polaroid SZ514W" You can choose to enter the video mode

or playback mode.

３.２

Photo mode

This is the default mode after boot, in camera mode, in addition to the

self-timer and continuous shooting functions and system settings, this

product independently perform all the action pictures.

Shooting photos

1. make sure the memory card has put the camera；

2.Intelligent devices connected cameras and install "Polaroid SZ514W"

by Wi-Fi;；

3.Open the "Polaroid SZ514W" on the smart device application;

4.Press the shutter button shutter switch or touch intelligent devices to

take photos;

5.The photos will be in the format of the JPEG stored in thememory

card;；

Note:

5.In order to obtain a more stable photo effects, recommend the use

of screenshortcut keys to take pictures

When a memory card is full, APP will prompt the memory card full.

Optical zoom

1.According to the T product key on the object to be shot 5 times optical

zoom press "W" key to narrow;

2.By APP "Polaroid SZ514W" zoom tool interface can also be impleme

ntedoptical zoom.

Note: when using this function of the product will automatically adjust the

lens, when the lens adjustment
Please do not touch the lens.

Digital zoom

1. When the optical zoom is completed, can be 4 times digital zoom on

the shooting object, press the T key to magnify objects, press the

W key tonarrowing;

2. Can realize the digital zoom zoom tool through APP interface.

Image size

Image size choice will determine the number of your photos stored on SD
card and photographs the picture quality. Pictures of high quality will take
upmore memory, and the size and the quality of image will also influence
themaximum size of effective print photos you can.
Set the image size:

The camera is connected with the intelligent mobile phone via Wi-Fi, and
then touch the upper left corner of the screen resolution settings icon will
appear drop resolution options;

Click to select the size of the complete set, and the screen will display the

Selfie

You can use this function to delay between the shutter button and take
pictures of the time interval is obtained, including yourself photos. Use
theself timer function is recommended this product will be placed in the
threetripod or stable place to shoot better photos.

1. The camera is connected with the intelligent mobile phone through

Wi-Fi,and then touch the upper left corner of the screen of the self set
icon, will appear the drop-down self time options;Close /2s/10s

2. Click to want to choose self time is set up, and the screen will have the

corresponding icon display;

Continuous shooting

After enabling this feature can press the shutter button onceto shoot more
photos.

1.The camera is connected with the intelligent mobile phone via

Wi-Fi, and then touch the upper left corner of the screen of the self set
icon, enter the setup menu;

1. Touch "burst" option, there will be drop down self

up, return to set the page back to the main page after operation,

Time stamp

This feature set, the picture of the lower right corner there will be time
stamped, shooting time record photos.

then touchthe upper left corner of the screen of the self set icon, enter
the setup menu;

2.Touch "time stamp" option, there will be a drop-down display
format setting option;

Video mode

Video

Press the mode button to enter the recording mode selection.

1. Confirm the memory card has been put into the camera；

2. Connect the camera through Wi-Fi and install the intelligent

devices of “Polaroid SZ514W”;；

3.Open the “Polaroid SZ514W” application on the intelligent
device；

4. Press the video mode button to switch to video mode；

5. Press the video button on the phone screen to start recording, press it
again to stop；

Note：

1. If the car starts automatically boot this product, you need to press the

camera button to stop recording, press the Wi-Fi switch to turn on Wi-Fi
(video wifi button press for a key lock function).

2. You can watch a video file in playback mode, or download them to
your computer using Quick Time or Windows Media Player to play;

3. this camera has the audio recording function, at the same time of

recording a video; the audio will also be recorded. You can playback the
audio you’ve recorded on the computer.

4. Under the video mode, only through the "Polaroid SZ514W" control

the video, camera key product itself is invalid;

5. As a tachograph use sound vibrations generated due to the car shaking

the camera, resulting in Noise generated during recording.

Image Size

Image size you choose will determine the number and the quality of
stored photos photo shoot on the SD card. High-quality images will
take up more memory,

Set the image size:

1.Connected via Wi-Fi cameras and smart phones, and then touch the
screen resolution settings icon in the top left corner, there will be
drop-down resolution options;

FHD 1080P HD 720P

2. Click to select the size you want to complete the set, and the screen

will display the corresponding resolution and displays the remaining

recording time of the memory card.

３.４ Settings

Setting options in the content, in the camera mode and a video mode are
applicable.

White balance

1.With this function, you can adjust the color of the light source

based on the color of the photo's.

2.Connect the camera and smart phones via Wi-Fi, and then set

the icon on the touch screen to enter the setup menu;

3.Options Touch "White Balance" option will appear in the

drop-down white balance mode

Auto / sun / cloudy / fluorescent / incandescent

4.Click the option you want to set；

5.Return to the main control interface, the screen will display the

6.corresponding icon and the screen will be accompanied by a color

adjustment.

３.５Power frequency

Select different frequencies depending on local conditions. In
general, the frequency of the United States of 60HZ, China,
Europe and Japan for 50HZ, camera default setting is 50HZ.

1.With this function, you can adjust the color of the light source
based on the color of the photo's.

2.Options Touch "power frequency" option will appear in the

drop-down power frequency

3.Click on the desired power frequency selection to complete the
setup.

３.６Format

You can use this option to delete all the files in memory or SD
memory card, including protected files.

Note: Please use this feature with caution, once formatted, all
images stored in the memory card will be deleted. Please
format the memory card before all the images will be
downloaded to your computer.

1.With this function, you can adjust the color of the light source

based on the color of the photo's.

2.Touch "Format" option, and follow the prompts;

3.After formatting is complete, return to the main page of the camera's
control;

3.7 Playback the photos and download to intelligent

device

In playback mode, you can preview pictures, download, delete
photos and video files.

1.Touch the playback key and enter the playback preview interface

2. Click the photo to enter photo playback;

3. Click the download and you will be prompted to download all the

documents;

4. Click the multi documents processing key to enter the document

selection, and the bulk delete or download also can be carried out;

5. Click “Finish” to return to the camera interface

Note: you can’t play the videos on the APP, but can
download them

４.Download photo or video to your computer

Turn the camera on and change the mode of the camera and then
connect the camera to the computer to "Playback" with the USB cable.
