GENERAL INTRODUCTION

MODEL BAT-7001H is a high performance precision hand­held instrument for the measurement of temperature using
type T (Copper-Constantan) Thermocouples. This versatile
instrument measures temperature in both °C and °F. The
internal memory of the micro-computer stores the minimum
and maximum measured temperature for instant recall via
the LCD display. BAT-7001H operates on a 9V battery.

INITIAL INSPECTION

Unpack carefully and inspect for any damage from shipment.
If damage is found, notify Physitemp immediately. All packing
materials should be saved until satisfactory operation is con­firmed.

SPECIFICATIONS

Range: -90 to 400°C

-130 to 752°F

Resolution: 0.1°C

0.2°F

Accuracy: ±0.05% of reading. ±0.7°C or 1.3°F

Accuracy is specified for operating ambient
temperature of 23°C ±5°C

Cold junction error for thermocouples: For
operating ambient temperature from 0°C to
+18° and +28°C to 50°C, add an additional
error of ±0.03°C/°C or 0.03°F/°F

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

TOUCH KEYS:-Refer to Figure 1, above

1. The C/F key selects the readout for °C or °F

2. The readout will alternately display the maximum
and minimum values when MIN/MAX is pressed.

3. The RESET key clears the minimum and maximum
values stored in the memory of the micro-computer.

ERROR CODE:- Refer to Figure 1, above

1. HELP : Open sensor indication

2. HELP : Over range indication

3. -HELP : Under range indication

Physitemp Instruments Inc warrants this
instrument to be free from defects in material
and workmanship for 12 months from the
date of shipment. Repair or replacement will
be made at the discretion of Physitemp if the
defect is not the result of misuse or abuse.
Physitemp accepts no consequential liability
for delay in delivery, alleged faulty perform­ance of the product or any other cause.

For your protection when returning this item,
please pack it carefull and insure against pos­sible damage or loss. Physitemp will not be
responsible for damage resulting from care­less packaging. Please return the unit freight
prepaid.
