The

TW3001AT

is a single-channel active transmitter that can transmit live video over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable. Cat5e or Cat6 cable is recommended.

The top of the unit has a DIP switch that allows you to select the distance (500-3,000 feet/152.4-914.4 meters) when using the transmitter with a passive receiver. The maximum distance when connecting a

to a Pelco active receiver is set to 4,000 feet (1,219.2 meters) automatically. You can increase this distance to either 4,500 or 5,000 feet (1,371.6 or

1,524 meters) using

the DIP switches. The ﬁfth switch is for selecting receiver type (active or passive). For Coaxitron

(228.6 meters) is the maximum distance over UTP.
