Grazie per aver acquistato un prodotto Peg-Pérego.
AVVERTENZA
• IMPORTANTE: leggere attentamente queste
istruzioni e conservarle per un futuro utilizzo. La
sicurezza del bambino potrebbe essere messa a
rischio se non si eseguono queste istruzioni.
• Questo articolo è stato progettato per il trasporto di 1
bambino nella seduta.
• Non utilizzare questo articolo per un numero di
occupanti superiori a quanto previsto dal costruttore.
• Questo articolo con Navicella-Skate: è inteso per
bambini dalla nascita fino a 9 kg di peso (6 mesi
circa) che da soli non si possono mettere in posizione
seduta, girarsi e alzarsi appoggiandosi alle mani e alle
ginocchia.
Questo articolo con Seggiolino-Skate: è inteso per
bambini dai 6 mesi fino a 15 kg di peso.
• Con Seggiolino-Skate e quando il bambino riesce
a stare seduto da solo: occorre sempre utilizzare la
cintura di sicurezza a cinque punti; utilizzare sempre
lo spartigambe della cintura in combinazione con il
cinturino girovita.
• Con Navicella-Skate il frontalino è progettato per la
funzione maniglione di trasporto per trasportare il
bambino se pesa meno di 9 kg .
Con Seggiolino-Skate il frontalino non sostituisce la
cintura di sicurezza a cinque punti .
• Controllare regolarmente: il frontalino quando viene
usato come maniglione di trasporto ed il fondo
della seduta. Verificare l'assenza di segni di rottura o
danneggiamento.
• Questo articolo e' dotato di adattatori per essere usato
in combinazione con 1 seggiolino auto gruppo 0+ Peg
Perego.
• Quando usato in combinazione con 1 seggiolino auto
gruppo 0+ Peg Perego, questo prodotto è adatto dalla
nascita fino a 13 Kg di peso.
• Prima dell’ uso assicurarsi che: Navicella-Skate
o Seggiolino-Skate o il seggiolino auto, siano
correttamente agganciati al telaio-Skate.
• Quando si utilizza la Navicella-Skate (senza telaioSkate) appoggiarla sempre su una superficie piana,
dura e asciutta.
• Non utilizzare Navicella-Skate o Seggiolino-Skate per il
trasporto di un bambino in un veicolo a motore.
• Navicella-Skate è possibile utilizzarla solo su SkateStand Peg Perego.
• Seggiolino-Skate non è possibile utilizzarlo su nessuno
Stand.
• Non aggiungere materassini.
• Potrebbe essere pericoloso lasciare il vostro bambino
incustodito.
• Non lasciare altri bambini a giocare incustoditi vicino
all'articolo.
• Le operazioni di assemblaggio e preparazione dell’
articolo devono essere effettuate da adulti.
• Non utilizzate questo articolo se presenta parti
mancanti o rotture.
• Da fermi utilizzare sempre i freni.
• Utilizzare i freni durante le operazioni di carico e
scarico degli occupanti.
• Prima dell’ uso assicurarsi che tutti i meccanismi di
aggancio siano inseriti correttamente.
• Evitare di introdurre le dita nei meccanismi.
• Prestare attenzione alla presenza del bambino quando
si effettuano operazioni di regolazione dei meccanismi
(maniglione, schienale).
• Ogni carico appeso al maniglione o alle maniglie può
rendere instabile l'articolo; seguire le indicazioni del
costruttore riguardo ai massimi carichi utilizzabili.
• Non introdurre nel cestello carichi per un peso
superiore a 5 kg. Non inserire nei portabibite pesi
superiori a quanto specificato nel portabibite stesso
e mai bevande calde. Non inserire nelle tasche delle
capotte (se presenti) pesi superiori a 0.2 Kg.
• Non utilizzare l'articolo in vicinanza di scale o gradini;
non utilizzare vicino a fonti di calore, fiamme libere od
oggetti pericolosi a portata delle braccia del bambino.
• Potrebbe essere pericoloso utilizzare accessori non
approvati dal costruttore.
• Questo articolo non e' adatto per il jogging o la corsa
coi pattini.
CARATTERISTICHE DELL'ARTICOLO
• Questo articolo è numerato progressivamente.
• Skate è composto da:
Telaio-Skate, Navicella-Skate, Seggiolino-Skate, una
capottina, una copertina e un frontalino da applicare
sia sulla Navicella che sul Seggiolino Skate.
NAVICELLA Skate
• Deve essere agganciata al telaio-Skate rivolta verso la
mamma, in posizione orizzontale;
• regolabile in altezza in 3 posizioni
• non può essere utilizzata in un veicolo a motore, ma è
possibile usarla su Skate-Stand Peg Perego.
SEGGIOLINO Skate
• Può essere agganciato al telaio-Skate rivolto verso la
mamma o verso il mondo;
• regolabile in 3 posizioni: in altezza e come inclinazione;
• non può essere usato senza il telaio-Skate.
COMPONENTI DELL'ARTICOLO

ISTRUZIONI D’USO
TELAIO SKATE
1• MONTAGGIO RUOTE: togliere i tappi di protezione
dalle ruote posteriori. Per montare le ruote posteriori
inserire i perni nelle apposite sedi fino a sentire il click
di aggancio (Fig.a).
Prima di montare le ruote anteriori assicurarsi che gli
indicatori delle manopole di fissaggio siano rossi. Inserire
i perni delle ruote nelle apposite sedi facendo attenzione
a far combaciare le linee verdi delle ruote, con le le linee
verdi delle sedi. Infine ruotare le manopole di fissaggio
fino a che gli indicatori siano verdi (Fig.b).
IMPORTANTE: assicurarsi del corretto aggancio
tirando le ruote.
2• APERTURA: se completamente abbassato, alzare
il maniglione per non interferire con il pedale di
chiusura centralizzato: aprire le due leve verso

l'esterno e posizionare il maniglione. Richiudere le
due leve (Fig.a).
Per aprire il telaio-Skate, sganciare la leva di chiusura
dal perno laterale destro del telaio, sollevando
leggermente il telaio (Fig.b).
3• Bloccare il telaio-Skate con un piede sulla pedana
posteriore e sollevare il maniglione fino a sentire il
click di aggancio (Fig.a).
Verificare la corretta apertura del telaio indicata dalla
riga verde sulla pedana posteriore (come in figura).
Se non si dovesse vedere la riga verde, agganciare
con forza il telaio tirando il maniglione verso l'alto.
FRENO CENTRALIZZATO: per frenare il passeggino,
abbassare col piede le leve posizionate sulle ruote
posteriori (Fig.b).
Per sbloccare i freni, agire in senso contrario.
4 • MANIGLIONE: regolabile in altezza in più posizioni.
Per regolare in altezza il maniglione, aprire le due leve
verso l'esterno, posizionare il maniglione e richiudere
le due leve (Fig.a).
PORTABIBITE: applicabile su entrambi i lati del telaio-
Skate. Per montarlo infilare il retro del portabibite
negli attacchi del telaio-Skate
(Fig.b).
5• CESTELLO: dotato di cinghie elastiche regolabili per
bloccare gli oggetti. Prima di agganciare le cinghie,
posizionare gli elastici nella posizione desiderata (Fig.a).
E' possibile applicare un ulteriore cestello dato in
dotazione, maggiormente capiente (Fig.b).
6 • RUOTE ANTERIORI PIROET TANTI: per rendere le ruote
anteriori piroettanti sollevare lo stopper verso l'alto,
(Fig.a). Per rendere le ruote fisse premere lo stopper
verso il basso, (Fig.b).
Compiendo un giro, le ruote si fissano in automatico.
7• RIMOZIONE RUOTE: per togliere le ruote posteriori dal
telaio-Skate, tirare il perno e contemporaneamente
sfilare le ruote (Fig.a).
Per togliere le ruote anteriori dal telaio-Skate, ruotare
le manopole di fissaggio fino a che gli indicatori siano
rossi e sfilare le ruote (Fig.b).
NAVICELLA-SKATE
8• MONTAGGIO STRUTTURA: sollevare l'imbottitura
interna (Fig.a) e lo schienale (Fig.b)
9• agganciare l'aletta alla testa della Navicella-Skate (Fig c ).
Attenzione, la cinghia centrale interna deve
essere posizionata tra aletta e schienale, come in
figura.
Posizionare lo schienale nella posizione più bassa
(Fig.d)
10• Ruotare e agganciare le due alette laterali (Fig.a) ed
infine quella ai piedi (Fig.b) sul fondo interno della
Navicella-Skate;
11• ripiegare l'imbottitura verso l'interno (Fig.a).
Sollevare lo schienale e calzare il materassino (Fig.b).
12• AGGANCIO Navicella-Skate al Telaio-Skate: prima di
agganciare Navicella-Skate, verificare che le sedi di
aggancio del telaio-Skate siano entrambe nella stessa
posizione: sono in posizione corretta quando i simboli
grafici sulle sedi di aggancio sono allineate con quelle
presenti sul telaio-Skate (Fig.a).
Per agganciarla, posizionare gli attacchi della
Navicella-Skate nelle sedi apposite del telaio-Skate
fino a sentire il click di aggancio (Fig.b).
IMPORTANTE: assicurarsi del corretto aggancio
tirando la Navicella-Skate verso l'alto.
IMPORTANTE: Nel caso di errato aggancio della
Navicella_Skate rimuoverla dal telaio-Skate e ripetere
corretamente l'operazione come indicato sopra.
IMPORTANTE: non mettere il bambino nella
Navicella-Skate prima di aver aperto il telaio -Skate.
13• FRONTALINO-MANIGLIONE DI TRASPORTO: per
montarlo posizionare gli attacchi del frontalino
nell'apposita sede premendo sui pulsanti di sicurezza
e spingendo verso l'alto fino a sentire i due click di
aggancio. Il frontalino può essere agganciato alla
Navicella-Skate solo in un senso .
14• Il frontalino è regolabile in 2 posizioni: posizione
bassa (1) uso frontalino e posizione alta (2) uso
maniglione di trasporto (Fig.a) .
Per trasportare il bambino, solo quando è
Navicella-Skate e pesa meno di 9 kg, usarlo nella
posizione alta, la 2.
Per regolarlo, aprire verso l'interno le due leve,
posizionare il frontalino in su o in giù e richiudere le
due leve (Fig.b).
15• Per sganciarlo premere i pulsanti laterali della
Navicella-Skate e sfilare verso il basso gli attacchi del
frontalino (Fig.a).
Il frontalino è apri e chiudi: per facilitare l'entrata e
l'uscita del bambino quando è più grande (Fig.b).
Per aprirlo: premere contemporaneamente i due
pulsanti rotondi e tirare il frontalino verso l'esterno.
Per chiuderlo: agire in senso contrario.
16• SCHIENALE: è possibile regolarlo in 3 posizioni.
Per regolare lo schienale nella posizione desiderata,
collocare il perno in una delle 3 asole della cinghia
centrale, poste sul retro dello schienale (Fig.a).
COPERTINA: abbottonarla da entrambi i lati e fissare
gli elastici ai ganci laterali del frontalino
(Fig.b).
17• SGANCIO Navicella-Skate dal Telaio-Skate: posizionare
il frontalino nella posizione alta (maniglione di
trasporto) impugnarlo e tirarlo verso l'alto (1),
sganciare la Navicella-Skate prima da un lato (2) e poi
dall'altro (3), premendo sulle leve di sgancio.
IMPORTANTE: effettuare quest'operazione con il
bambino nella seduta solo quando è NavicellaSkate e se il bambino pesa meno di 9 kg.
SEGGIOLINO-SKATE
18• E' necessario prima di agganciarlo al telaio-Skate, fare
pressione sullo schienale, agendo dall'interno verso
l'esterno per garantire una completa apertura del
seggiolino (Fig.a).
• Agganciare il frontalino (paragrafo 13).
• AGGANCIO Seggiolino-Skate al Telaio-Skate: per
agganciarlo, posizionare gli attacchi del SeggiolinoSkate nelle sedi apposite del telaio-Skate fino a
sentire il click di aggancio (Fig.b).
IMPORTANTE: non mettere il bambino nel
Seggiolino-Skate prima di aver aperto il telaio-Skate.
19• REVERSIBILITA': il Seggiolino-Skate è reversibile; può
essere agganciato al telaio-Skate verso la mamma o
verso il mondo.
20• Seggiolino-Skate INCLINABILE: la seduta-Skate è
inclinabile in 3 posizioni (orizzontale, inclinata e
verticale) sia verso la mamma che verso il mondo.
Per inclinare Seggiolino-Skate: alzare la maniglia
posta dietro lo schienale e posizionarlo a piacere.
21• CINTURA DI SICUREZZA 5 PUNTI: per agganciarle,

inserire le due fibbie del cinturino girovita
(con bretelle agganciate freccia a) nel cinturino
spartigambe fino al click (freccia b). Per sganciarle,
spingere verso l'alto il pulsante tondo posto
centralmente alla fibbia (freccia c) e tirare verso
l’esterno il cinturino girovita (freccia d).
22• Per stringere il cinturino girovita tirare, da entrambi i
lati, nel senso della freccia (Fig.a), per allentarlo agire
in senso contrario. Il cinturino girovita può essere
stretto fino al fermo di sicurezza (Fig.b).
23• Per regolare l'altezza delle cinture di sicurezza è
necessario sganciare i bottoni laterali dalla sacca Skate
(paragrafo 39 b) da entrambi i lati e sollevare la sacca.
Tirare verso di se le fibbie (freccia a) e infilarle nelle
asole dello schienale (freccia b). Sfilare le bretelle dalla
sacca (freccia c) e infilarle nell'asola più idonea (freccia
d), infine posizionare le due f ibbie dietro lo schienale
(freccia e) al di sotto delle cinture di sostegno (fig f).
24• COPERTINA: abbottonarla da entrambi i lati (Fig.a) e
fissare gli elastici ai ganci laterali del frontalino (Fig.b).
Abbottonare gli elastici sotto la pedanetta poggiapiedi
(Fig.c).
E' possibile aprire la cerniera della copertina per
aumentare la profondità per i piedini del bambino, con
Seggiolino-Skate (Fig.d).
25• Navicella-Skate e Seggiolino-Skate REGOLABILI IN
ALTEZZA: regolabili in altezza in 3 posizioni.
Premere insieme i due pulsanti laterali del telaioSkate e contemporaneamente alzare o abbassare
Navicella-Skate o Seggiolino-Skate fino a sentire i due
click di corretto aggancio.
Verificare il corretto posizionamento con le frecce
poste sul telaio-Skate.
E' possibile farlo anche con il Car Seat agganciato.
26• CAPOTTINA: per montarla, infilare gli attacchi della
capottina nelle apposite sedi della Navicella-Skate o
Seggiolino-Skate e abbottonare ai lati i bottoni; 4 per
Navicella-Skate, 2 per il Seggiolino-Skate (Fig.a).
Per sganciarla sbottonare la capottina lateralmente
dalla Navicella-Skate o Seggiolino-Skate, premere
i due pulsantini (posti sotto la sede di aggancio
della capottina) e contemporaneamente estrarre gli
attacchi (Fig.b).
27• La capottina è regolabile in 2 posizioni: tirandola
in avanti o in dietro. La cerniera permette una
regolazione in più con Navicella -Skate.
E' dotata anche di finestra panorama.
28• PARAPIOGGIA: è possibile montarlo sia su
NavicellaSkate che su Seggiolino-Skate.
Per montarlo unire la cerniera del parapioggia con
quella della capottina (A), accompagnare la parte
inferiore del parapioggia sotto alla seduta-Skate
(B), far passare gli elastici con i bottoni dietro agli
attacchi della Navicella-Skate o Seggiolino-Skate (C) e
abbottonarli al parapioggia (D).
• E' possibile aprire il parapioggia lasciandolo fissato
alla seduta-Skate, grazie agli elastici, aprendo solo la
cerniera.
• Nel caso si volesse girare la seduta-Skate non è necessario
togliere il parapioggia perchè rimane agganciato alla
seduta-Skate, senza interessare il telaio-Skate.
• Non utilizzare il parapioggia in ambienti chiusi e
controllare sempre che il bambino non sia accaldato.
• Non collocare il parapioggia vicino a fonti di calore e
fare attenzione alle sigarette.
• Assicurarsi che il parapioggia non interferisca con
nessun meccanismo in movimento.
• Togliere sempre il parapioggia prima di chiudere Skate.
• Lavare con una spugna e acqua saponata, senza
utilizzare detersivi.
29• CHIUSURA: chiudere la cappottina, se agganciata.
Abbassare la seduta-Skate al livello più basso.
Con agganciato Navicella-Skate, non è possibile
chiudere il telaio-Skate, è necessario rimuoverla.
Con agganciato il Seggiolino-Skate è possibile chiudere il
telaio-Skate, senza rimuoverlo.
Se agganciato al telaio-Skate verso la mamma (Fig.a)
occorre: prima tirare verso l'esterno la levetta di sicurezza
(1) e contemporaneamente reclinare il SeggiolinoSkate alzando la maniglia posta dietro lo schienale (2) e
posizionarlo allineandolo al telaio-Skate (3) .
Se il Seggiolino-Skate è agganciato al telaio-Skate
verso il mondo (Fig.b): allineare il Seggiolino-Skate
al telaio-Skate alzando la maniglia posta dietro lo
schienale.
30• CHIUSURA: per chiudere il telaio-Skate, ruotare verso
l'alto prima la leva di destra e poi quella di sinistra
posta a lato del maniglione; con un piede premere
il pedale di chiusura centralizzato e abbassare il
telaio-Skate. Il gancio di chiusura si aggancerà
automaticamente, sul lato destro del telaio.
Per una chiusura compatta del telaio-Skate, sganciare
Seggiolino-Skate ed estrarre le ruote.
31• TRASPORTO: Sono possibili due modalità di trasporto.
E’ possibile trasportarlo impugnandolo dalla maniglia
sotto al cestello, oppure come trolley: raddrizzando
il maniglione e mettendo le ruote anteriori nella
posizione fissa.
TELAIO-SKATE +
SEGGIOLINO AUTO PRIMO VIAGGIO
Grazie agli adattatori di serie, è possibile agganciare
al telaio-Skate il seggiolino auto gruppo 0+: "Primo

32• Prima di agganciare gli adattatori, verificare che le
sedi di aggancio del telaio-Skate siano entrambe nella
posizione centrale e verticale (Fig. a).
Distinguere l'adattatore destro (DX) dall'adattore
sinistro (SX) leggendo internamente le sigle DX e SX.
Per agganciare gli adattatori Car Seat posizionarli nelle
apposite sedi, del telaio-Skate, facendo combaciare
le tacche di riconoscimento degli adattatori con
quelle del telaio-Skate (Fig. b), fino a sentire il click di
aggancio(Fig. c).
33• Per agganciare il seggiolino auto al telaio-Skate,
posizionare il seggiolino rivolto verso la mamma in
corrispondenza degli adattatori e spingerlo verso il basso.
ATTENZIONE: allineare il seggiolino auto al telaio
come in figura e verificare il corretto aggancio
controllando che la serigrafia rossa sull’adattatore
non sia più visibile.
Per sganciare il seggiolino auto dal telaio-Skate, usare
l'apposita leva sullo schienale del seggiolino auto e
alzare.
Per sganciare gli adattatori, premere il pulsante interno
e tirarli verso l'alto.

Come sfoderare NAVICELLA-SKATE
Rimuovere capottina, copertina e frontalino, se
agganciati e abbassare completamente lo schienale.
34• Rimuovere il materassino interno sfilandolo dallo
schienale (Fig. a). Sollevare tutta l'imbottitura interna
(Fig. b) e sfilare il cinturino regola schienale (Fig.c)
.
35• Sganciare prima le alette laterali e poi l' aletta ai piedi
premendo sul gancio sulla base e facendo pressione
dall'esterno (Fig. a).
Sollevare le alette laterali (Fig. b) per facilitare
l'operazione.
Sollevare poi lo schienale per sganciare l'aletta alla testa
(Fig. c).
36• Abbassare tutta la struttura e l'imbottitura della
Navicella-Skate (Fig.a).
Rimuovere i coperchietti laterali, da entrambi i lati,
sollevandoli dall'interno verso l'esterno (Fig.b).
37• Sfilare la sacca in sequenza come in figura, partendo
dal lato dello schienale (prima da un angolo e poi
dall'altro) per facilitare l'operazione (Fig.c).
Infine sfilare la sacca dai piedini posti sul fondo della
seduta-Skate (Fig.d).
Come rivestire NAVICELLA-SKATE
ATTENZIONE: la parte alta, lato testa, della sacca Skate
si differenzia dal taglio sul tessuto per il passaggio del
cinturino di regolazione dello schienale.
38• Calzare l'imbottitura agganciandola ai piedini sul fondo
della Navicella-Skate, poi dal lato dei piedi (un angolo
alla volta) e poi agli attacchi laterali, facendo molta
attenzione che rimangano esterni (Fig.a).
Calzare la sacca sulla parte alta (lato schienale), un
angolo alla volta.
Sollevare lo schienale ed infilare il cinturino regola
schienale dall'interno verso l'esterno della Navicella-
Skate (Fig.b).
Seguire le istruzioni dei punti 9, 10, 11.
Posizionare i due coperchietti (Fig.c).
Come sfoderare SEGGIOLINO-SKATE
Rimuovere capottina, copertina e frontalino, se
agganciati.
39• Sganciare i due velcri posti sotto la pedana-
poggiapiedi e sfilare i laccetti (Fig. a)

Sganciare i bottoni laterali (Fig. b).
Sfilare la sacca dall'interno dei coperchi (Fig. c)

Sganciare i bottoni a lato del telaio (Fig. d).
40• Sfilare lo spar tigambe del cinturino da sotto la seduta.
Sfilare le cinture di sicurezza sganciando prima il
cinghietto dietro lo schienale e poi sfilandole dal
davanti (Fig. a).
Svitare il cinturino, solo da un lato (tenendo il dito
sotto al dado) dalla seduta Skate, con un cacciavite a
stella (Fig. b)

41• Rimuovere la sacca dalla leva regolazione schienale e
sfilare la sacca dall'alto in prossimità dello schienale.

Come rivestire SEGGIOLINO-SKATE
42• Calzare la sacca sul telaio dalla parte alta dello
schienale (Fig. a), mantendo la maniglia all'esterno.
• Far passare il cinturino spartigambe più basso, sotto
la seduta, lasciando sopra alla sacca lo spartigambe
più alto (Fig. b).
• Inserire il cinturino ventrale nel foro sulla seduta
Skate (Fig. c) e avvitare il cinturino, con un cacciavite a
stella (Fig. d).
43• Posizionare le cinture di sicurezza all'altezza
desiderata (Fig. a) infilando le cinture nei passanti
della sacca.
ATTENZIONE: posizionare le fibbie dietro lo schienale
sotto le cinture di sostegno (Fig. b).
44• Calzare la sacca sui coperchi, prima sulla parte
superiore e poi sul quella inferiore, sollevando
leggermente i coperchi per agganciarla
correttamente (Fig. a).
• Agganciare i due bottoni della sacca al telaio, facendo
attenzione a tenere esterni gli attachi laterali dello Skate
(Fig.b).
Agganciare i laccetti e far aderire i velcri alla pedanapoggiapiedi (Fig.c).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
SKATE CHASSIS
1• FITTING THE WHEELS: Remove the protective caps from
the rear wheels. To fit the rear wheels, push the pins
into their housing until you hear them click into place
(Fig.a).
Before fitting the front wheels, make sure that the
indicators on the attachment knobs are red. Insert the
wheel pins into their housing, making sure the green
lines on the wheels match up with the green lines on
the housing. Lastly, turn the attachment knobs until
the indicators are green (Fig.b).
IMPORTANT: Pull on the wheels to make sure they
are correctly attached.
2• OPENING: If it is completely lowered, raise the handle
to prevent it impeding the movement of the central
closure pedal: open the two levers outwards and move
the handle. Move the two levers back into position
(Fig.a).
To open the Skate chassis, release the closure lever
from the right pin of the chassis while slightly lifting
the chassis (Fig.b).
3• Hold the Skate chassis still with a foot on the rear
ledge and lift the handle until it clicks into place (Fig.a).
Ensure the frame opens correctly by checking that the
green line on the rear footrest is visible (see figure).
If this is not visible, pull the central handle upwards
forcefully.
CENTRAL BRAKE: To set the brake on the stroller, lower
the levers on the rear wheels with your foot (Fig.b).
To release the brakes, lift the levers.
4• HANDLE: It can be set at various heights. To adjust the
height of the handle, open the two levers outwards,
position the handle at the desired height and close the
two levers (Fig.a).
DRINK HOLDER: It can be fitted on both sides of the
Skate chassis. To fit it, slide the back of the drink holder
into the clips on the Skate chassis (Fig.b).
5• BASKET: It has adjustable elastic straps for securing
items. Before securing the straps, put them in the
required position (Fig.a).
It is possible to fit a, more capacious basket which is
provided (Fig.b).
6• FRONT SWIVEL WHEELS: To put the front wheels in
swivel mode, lift the stopper up (Fig.a). To turn off
swivel mode, press the stopper down (Fig.b).
Turn the wheels around once to lock them
automatically.
7• REMOVING THE WHEELS: To remove the rear wheels
from the Skate chassis, pull the pin and at the same
time pull off the wheels (Fig.a).
To remove the front wheels from the Skate chassis,
turn the attachment knobs until the indicators are red,
then pull off the wheels (Fig.b).
SKATE BASSINET UNIT
8• ASSEMBLING THE STRUCTURE: Lift the internal padding
(Fig.a) and the backrest (Fig.b).
9• Attach the tab to the head end of the Skate bassinet
unit (Fig c).
Caution: the central internal belt must be placed
between the tab and the backrest, as in the figure.
Put the backrest in the lowest position (Fig.d).
10• Turn and attach the two side tabs (Fig.a) and then the
one at the feet end (Fig.b) on the bottom of the inside
of the Skate bassinet unit.
11• Fold the padding back inside (Fig.a).
Lift the backrest and fit the mattress pad in place (Fig.b).
12• ATTACHING the Skate bassinet unit to the Skate
chassis: Before attaching the Skate bassinet unit, check
that the attachments on the Skate chassis are both in
the same position. They are correctly positioned when
the graphic symbols on the attachment points are in
line with the ones on the Skate chassis (Fig.a).
To attach the Skate bassinet unit, position its couplings
in their housing on the Skate chassis and click them
into place (Fig.b).
IMPORTANT: Pull the Skate bassinet unit upwards to
check that it is correctly attached.
IMPORTANT: If the Skate bassinet unit is incorrectly
attached, remove it from the Skate chassis and
correctly repeat the procedure described above.
IMPORTANT: Do not place a child in the Skate bassinet
unit before opening the Skate chassis.
13• FRONT BAR/CARRYING HANDLE: To fit the front bar,
put its attachments in their housing while pressing on
the safety buttons and pushing upwards until the two
clicks confirm it is in place. The front bar can only be
attached to the Skate bassinet unit in one direction.
14• The front bar can be set in 2 positions: a lower position
(1) for use as a front bar and a higher position (2) for
use as a carrying handle (Fig.a).
To carry a child – which is only possible in Skate
bassinet unit mode and with a child who weighs less
than 9 kg – use it in the higher position (2).
To adjust it, open the two levers inwards, position the
front bar in the desired position, and close the two
levers (Fig.b).
15• To release it, press the side buttons on the Skate
bassinet unit and pull the attachments of the front bar
downwards (Fig.a).

The front bar opens and closes to facilitate the entry
and exit of children when they get bigger (Fig.b).
To open it, press the two round buttons at the same
time and pull the front bar outwards.
To close it, do the opposite.
16• BACKREST: It can be set in 3 positions.
To put the backrest in the required position, put the
pin in one of the 3 eyelets in the central belt, which
can be found on the rear of the backrest (Fig.a).
COVER: Button it down on both sides and attach the
elastic loops to the clips on the sides of the front bar
(Fig.b).
17• RELEASING the Skate bassinet unit from the Skate
chassis: Put the front bar in the high position (carrying
handle position), take hold of it and pull it upwards (1),
release the Skate bassinet unit first on one side (2) and
then on the other (3), pressing on the release levers.
IMPORTANT: Only carry out this procedure with the
child in the seat if it is in Skate bassinet unit mode
and if the child weighs less than 9 kg.
SKATE SEAT
18• Before attaching it to the Skate chassis, it is necessary
to press the backrest and move from the inside to the
outside to ensure that the seat is completely open (Fig.a).
• Attach the front bar (paragraph 13).
• ATTACHING the Skate seat to the Skate chassis: To
attach the Skate seat, position its couplings in their
housing on the Skate chassis and click them into place
(Fig.b).
IMPORTANT: Do not place a child in the Skate seat
before opening the Skate chassis.
19• REVERSIBILITY: The Skate seat is reversible; it can
be attached to the Skate chassis facing the person
pushing or facing forwards.
20• INCLINING Skate seat: The Skate seat can be inclined
at 3 different angles (horizontal, inclined and vertical)
both when facing the person pushing and when facing
forwards.
To incline the Skate seat, raise the handle behind the
backrest and position it as required.
21• 5-POINT SAFETY HARNESS: To fasten the harness,
push the two waist strap buckles (with the shoulder
straps attached as shown by arrow a) into the leg
divider strap until they click into position (arrow b).
To unfasten it, push the round button in the centre of
the buckle upwards (arrow c) and pull the waist straps
outwards (arrow d).
22• To tighten the waist straps, pull from both sides in the
direction of the arrow (Fig.a); to loosen them do the
opposite. The waist straps can be tightened as far as
the safety stop (Fig.b).
23• To adjust the height of the safety straps, it is necessary
to unfasten the buttons from both sides of the Skate
fabric covering (paragraph 39 b) and lift off the fabric
covering.
Pull the buckles towards you (arrow a), then slip them
through the slots in the backrest (arrow b). Pull the
shoulder straps through the fabric covering (arrow c)
and push them through the most suitable slot (arrow
d), then position the two buckles behind the backrest
(arrow e) below the support straps (fig f).
24• COVER: Button it down on both sides (Fig.a) and attach
the elastic loops to the clips on the sides of the front
bar (Fig.b).
Attach the elastic loops under the footrest (Fig.c).
With the Skate seat, the zipper of the cover can be
opened to increase the space available for the child’s
feet (Fig.d).
25• The HEIGHT of the Skate bassinet unit and Skate seat is
ADJUSTABLE: they can be set at 3 different heights.
Simultaneously press the two side buttons on the
Skate chassis and at the same time raise or lower the
Skate bassinet unit or Skate seat until you hear them
both click into place.
Look at the arrows on the Skate chassis to check that it
is correctly in position.
The procedure is also possible with the Car Seat
attached.
26• HOOD: To fit the hood, slide the clips into the matching
slots on the Skate bassinet unit or Skate seat and
fasten the buttons on the sides – 4 for the Skate
bassinet unit and 2 for the Skate seat (Fig.a).
To release it, unbutton the hood from the sides of the
Skate bassinet unit or Skate seat, press the two buttons
under the hood attachment slots and at the same time
pull out the clips (Fig.b).
27• The hood can be set in 2 different positions: it can be
pulled forwards or backwards. The zipper makes a further
adjustment possible with the Skate bassinet unit.
It also has a viewing window.
28• RAIN CANOPY: It can be fitted on both the Skate
bassinet unit and the Skate seat. Zip it to the hood
(A), move the lower part of the rain canopy below the
Skate seat (B), pass the elastic strips with the buttons
behind the Skate bassinet unit or Skate seat couplings
(C) and attach them to the rain canopy (D).
• Thanks to the elastic strips, the rain canopy can be
opened with the zipper while still attached to the Skate
seat.
• If you wish to turn the Skate seat around, it is not
necessary to remove the rain canopy because it stays
attached to the Skate seat without interfering with the
Skate chassis.
• Do not use the rain canopy indoors. Always ensure that
the child does not get too hot.
• Do not place the rain canopy near sources of heat and
keep it away from cigarettes.
• Ensure that the rain canopy is clear of any moving
mechanisms.
• Always remove the rain canopy before folding up Skate.
• Wash with a sponge and soapy water, without using
detergents.
29• FOLDING UP: Fold away the hood if it is attached.
Lower the Skate seat to the lowest level.
It is not possible to fold up the Skate chassis with
the Skate bassinet unit attached; it is necessary to
remove it.
It is possible to fold up the Skate chassis with the Skate
seat attached; it is not necessary to remove it.
If it is attached to the Skate chassis facing the person
pushing (Fig.a), pull the safety lever outwards (1) and
at the same time recline the Skate seat while lifting the
handle behind the backrest (2) and position it in line
with the Skate chassis (3).
If the Skate seat is attached to the Skate chassis facing
forwards (Fig.b), lift the handle behind the backrest and
position the Skate seat in line with the Skate chassis.
30• FOLDING UP: To fold up the Skate chassis, turn the
lever on the right hand side of the handle upwards
and then do the same with the one on the left. Press
the central closure pedal with your foot and lower the
Skate chassis. The closure clip will automatically lock
on the right hand side of the chassis.
To make the folded up Skate chassis as compact as
possible, release the Skate seat and remove the wheels.
31• TRANSPORT: Two transport modes are possible.
It can be carried by the handle under the basket, or
pulled like a trolley by straightening the main handle
and putting the front wheels in the fixed position.
SKATE CHASSIS +
PRIMO VIAGGIO CAR SEAT

Viaggio Tri-fix e” and “Primo Viaggio Tri-fix es” car seats
can be attached to the Skate chassis.
Britax and Maxi-Cosi car seats can also be attached to
the Skate chassis with the Peg Perego adaptors.
32• Before fitting the adaptors, check that the attachments
on the Skate chassis are both in the central and vertical
position (Fig. a).
You can distinguish the right adaptor (DX) from the left
one (SX) by the letters DX and SX on the inner side.
To attach the Car Seat adaptors, place them into their
slots on the Skate chassis, lining up the notches on the
adaptors with those on the Skate chassis (Fig. b), and
click them into place (Fig. c).
33• To attach the car seat to the Skate chassis, position
the seat above the adaptors and facing the person
pushing, then push downwards.
WARNING: Line the car seat up with the chassis as
shown in the figure and check that it is properly
attached by ensuring that the red mark on the
adapter is no longer visible.
To release the car seat from the Skate chassis, use the
lever on the backrest of the car seat and lift it.
To release the adaptors, press the inner button and
pull them upwards.
REMOVABLE COVERS
How to remove the covers of the SKATE
BASSINET UNIT
Remove the hood, cover and front bar if they are
attached, and completely lower the backrest.
34• Remove the internal mattress pad by slipping it off the
backrest (Fig. a). Lift all of the inner padding (Fig. b)
and slide off the backrest adjuster strap (Fig.c).
35• First release the side tabs and then the one at the feet
end by pressing on the clip at the bottom and pushing
from outside (Fig. a).
Lift the side tabs (Fig. b) to aid the procedure. Next lift
the backrest to release the tab at the head end (Fig. c).
36• Lower the entire structure and the padding of the
Skate bassinet unit (Fig.a).
Remove the casing sections on both sides, lifting them
outwards from the inside (Fig.b).
37• Slip off the fabric covering in the order shown in the
figure, starting from the side of the backrest (first from
one corner, then from the other) to aid the procedure
(Fig.c).
Finally, slip the fabric covering off the feet on the
bottom of the Skate seat (Fig.d).
How to replace the covers of the SKATE
BASSINET UNIT
PLEASE NOTE: The head end of the Skate fabric
covering can be identified by the slot in the material
for the backrest adjuster strap.
38• Fit the padding, attaching it to the feet on the bottom
of the Skate bassinet unit, then the side of the feet (one
corner at a time) and next the side fasteners, making
quite sure that they remain on the outside (Fig.a).
Fit the fabric covering on the upper part (backrest side)
one corner at a time.
Lift the backrest and thread the backrest adjuster strap
from the inside to the outside of the Skate bassinet
unit (Fig.b).
Follow the instructions in points 9, 10 and 11.
Put the two casing sections in place (Fig.c).
How to remove the covers of the SKATE SEAT
Remove the hood, cover and front bar if they are
attached.
39• Open the two Velcro fastenings placed under the
footrest and pull out the straps (Fig. a).
Unfasten the side buttons (Fig. b).
Slide the fabric covering out from inside the casing
sections (Fig. c).
Unfasten the buttons on the side of the chassis (Fig. d).
40• Pull the leg divider strap of the harness out from under
the seat.
Release the belt behind the backrest and then pull out
the safety harness straps from the front (Fig. a).
Use a crosshead screwdriver to unscrew the strap from
the Skate seat on one side only, keeping a finger under
the nut (Fig. b).
41• Remove the fabric covering from the backrest
adjustment lever and pull the fabric covering off
upwards near the backrest.

How to replace the covers of the SKATE SEAT
42• Fit the fabric covering onto the frame from the upper
part of the backrest (Fig. a), keeping the handle on the
outside.
• Thread the lower leg divider strap through under the
seat, leaving the higher leg divider strap above the
fabric covering (Fig. b).
• Insert the waist strap into the hole on the Skate
seat (Fig. c) and secure the strap with a crosshead
screwdriver (Fig. d).
43• Put the safety harness at the required height (Fig. a)
by threading the straps through the slots in the fabric
covering.
PLEASE NOTE: Place the buckles underneath the
support straps behind the backrest (Fig. b).
44• Fit the fabric covering onto the casing sections, first
on the upper part and then on the lower part, slightly
lifting the casing sections to attach it properly (Fig. a).
• Fasten the fabric covering’s two buttons to the frame,
ensuring that the Skate’s side attachments remain on
the outside (Fig.b).
Fasten the straps and stick the Velcro fastenings to the
footrest (Fig. c).

45• The following information can be found on the Skate
chassis (Fig. a), Skate bassinet unit (Fig. b) and Skate
seat (Fig. c): product name, production date and serial
number.
This information is required in the event of a complaint.

• This item requires a small amount of cleaning. Cleaning
and maintenance must only be carried out by adults.
• Keep all moving parts clean and if necessary lubricate
them with light oil, in line with the instructions given
in point 47.
• Dry the metal parts of the product to prevent rust.
• Clean the plastic parts periodically with a damp cloth.
Do not use solvents or similar substances.
• Protect this item from the elements: water, rain and
snow. Continual, extended exposure to the sun may
cause colour changes in many materials.
