A1: WJ-SQ508 can be configured with up to 64 cameras in master/slave mode using other compatible units.
Q2: What is the procedure for programming the dwell time for the cameras?
A2: The dwell time may be programmed per channel from 0.5 to 30 seconds as an on-screen programming feature.
Q3: Is it possible for me to use the WJ-SQ508 from a separate location?
A3: The WV-CU300 for the client can also act as the system remote controller for the WJ-SQ508 but the only note is that the remote control is limited to controlling any function bar programming.
Q4: How would the system respond if an alarm was activated?
A4: The system would go into alarm mode when an alarm is activated and from there it would either use the quick scan option to switch cctv cameras or simply fixate to the alarmed camera's feed.
Q5: Is there a way to protect the programming from unauthorized changes?
A5: For the case of WJ-SQ506, YES. This system has been installed with password options that help enforce security measure on the programmed settings so that unauthorized persons may not alter the settings.
