devices on and off at the same time.
Frequently-used functions can be programmed
into function buttons.
Functions that you use often can be
assigned to function buttons, so that
these buttons can be used easily as
shortcut buttons.
Customised display of frequently-used functions on
the LCD is possible.
You can edit the characters that are used to
indicate function buttons in the LCD, and
you can also edit the device selection
display.

power is turned on
Liquid crystal display
The top shows the selected device, the
bottom shows the functions of that device
that can be operated.
If no remote control operations are
carried out for 30 seconds or more, the
LCD will switch off. If the LCD switches
off while the device selection indicator for
any component is flashing, the
component that was last selected will be
the one that will be operated.

This displays menus

for the remote control.
If no remote control operations are
carried out for 30 seconds or more,
the backlight will switch off.
Once the backlight has turned off
after 30 seconds, it can be turned
back on by pressing any button.
If you press a button to turn once
more and then press it again within
30 seconds to turn the backlight off
again, the backlight will not turn back
on again when another button (other
than "LIGHT") is pressed.

the remote control should be within approximately 7 metres of the front of the remote control receiver. In addition,
the remote control can be operated within an angle of +/- 30 degrees up, down or to the left or right.
If there are any obstructions between the remote control and the remote control receiver, the remote control may
not operate correctly.
The projector can be operated by reflecting the signals from the remote control off the screen, but the operating

range for the remote control may be reduced as a result of losses in the amount of light reflected due to the
characteristics of the screen.

There is a limit to the number of buttons that can be learnt.
The maximum number will vary depending on the remote

control signals that are learnt, but generally the maximum
number of keys that can be learnt is about 80.
It may not be possible to learn remote control signals

correctly if the remote control's batteries are nearly spent.

Selecting and entering device codes
You can have all remote control signals for a
home theatre system device learnt all at once by
entering the device code for that device.
Note:
Two or more equipment codes cannot be entered for the

same item of equipment.
Equipment codes cannot be entered for “PJ”.

For device codes which have a remote control signal for
٨
controlling the power supply, the remote control signal for
the power supply will be transmitted when the device code is
selected.
Turn on the power supply for the device to be operated, and
point the remote control towards it to test.

Setting remote control signals for home
theatre systems
This remote control is programmed with remote control signals for Panasonic products at the
time of purchase. If you would like to operate devices from other manufacturers, or if your
Panasonic products cannot be operated, the following setting operations will be required.

Setting remote control signals for home theatre systems
To operate home theatre system devices other than the projector, set the remote control signals for
operating those devices into the remote control.
Learning remote control signals directly from home
theatre system devices
You can freely assign the remote control signals for your home theatre system
devices to the buttons of this remote control one by one.
Do not use the learning function to record remote control signals from other learning remote controls that have
been learnt by those remote controls. If this is done, operating errors may result.

If no operations are carried out for 60 seconds or more during the setup stage, operation will time out and the
setting mode will be cancelled.

You can have all remote control signals learnt all at once by entering the device
code which appears in the device code list .

know the device code
For home theatre system devices for which you do not know the device code,
you can use the search function to search or and set the device code.

You can delete remote control signals which have been programmed into the remote control.
