Notes on indoor unit
• Standard model
The above indoor unit models can be connected to the heat pump outdoor unit models and also cooling outdoor unit models.
Use under the following conditions:
• Indoor temperature range: 21 to 32°C
Cooling Operation
Heating Operation
The heat-exchanger freezes in the indoor unit if you operate it continuously at 21°C or below and it causes water leakage occasionally.
• Outside air temperature range: –5 to 43°C
• Indoor temperature range: 16 to 27°C
• Outside air temperature range: –10 to 24°C
Operation is occasionally interrupted when the unit heats at 24°C or above (For protection purpose).

2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Before operating, please read the following “Safety Precautions” carefully.
To prevent personal injury, injury to others and property damage, the following instructions must be followed.
Incorrect operation due to failure to f ollow instructions will cause harm or damage, the seriousness of which is classified as follow:

This sign warns of death or serious injury.

This sign warns of damage to property.

The instructions to be followed are classified by the following symbols :
This symbol (with a white background) denotes an action that is PROHIBITED.
OFF
These symbols (with a black bac kground) denote actions that are COMPULSORY.
Installation Precautions

WARNING
Do not install, remove and reinstall the unit by yourself.
Improper installation will cause leakage, electric shock or fire. Please engage an authorized dealer or specialist for the installation work.

This air conditioner must be earthed.
Improper grounding could cause electric shock.
Do not install the unit in a potentially explosive atmosphere.
Gas leak near the unit could cause fire.
CAUTION
Current leakage protection equipment must be installed.
Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.
Ensure that the drainage piping is connected properly.
Otherwise, water will leak out.

Operation Precautions
Do not expose directly to the cold air for a long period.
Only use the correct type of fuse.
If abnormal conditions (burnt smell, etc) occur, turn off the circuit breaker.

WARNING
Do not repair the unit by yourself.
Do not use naked flames near the refrigerant.
Do not insert finger or other objects into the indoor or outdoor unit.
CAUTION

Ventilate the room regularly.
Do not locate any natural cooking fuel or heating appliances near the air vent as accident may occur.
Do not place wet items near the indoor unit as dew might drop if the humidity is 80% and above. (For cooling operation only)
Do not use aerosol spray on or near the unit.
Before cleaning the unit, turn off the circuit breaker.
Inspect the unit occasionally for any damages.
Do not sit or place anything on the outdoor unit.
Do not wash the unit with water.

Do not place plants and prohibit pets towards the discharge air of the outdoor unit.
Do not use for other purposes such as preservation.
