• You must have your dealer install the board.
• Before installing the board, set the power switch on the unit in which the board is to be installed to the “OFF” position, and disconnect the unit's power plug from the power outlet.
• Before handling the board, touch a metal part of the unit's body to discharge any static which may have accumulated in your body. Wearing anti-static wrist straps is even an more effective precautionary measure.
• When temporarily putting the board down or aside, place it on top of the anti-static bag (which originally contained the board). Do not bring any metal parts on the board into contact with any metal parts of any other boards.
PRECAUTIONS

FEATURES

• Audio/Video Digital Signal Editing is possible by installing this board to the nonlinear AV workstation unit (AY-NE2000).
• The video digital signals comply with the SMPTE259M standards, and the audio digital signals comply with the AES/EBU standards.

BOARD SETUP

1. Turn off the computer. Unplug the power cord as well.
For the “computer system shutdown”, please refer to the AY-NE2000 Instruction Manual.
2. Remove the cover panel on the rear of the unit (AY-NE2000).
Remove 2 screws from the cover panel, and store the screws in a safe place.
3. Fit the Digital I/F Board into the place where the cover panel was removed.
Slide the board into the unit in line with the both sides of the guide rails.
4. Install the Digital I/F Board into the bottom of the unit securely.
5. Tighten 2 screws.
6. Confirm if the board is fixed up securely.
7. Plug the power cord and turn the power on.
Confirm that the system starts up. For the “computer system startup”, please refer to the AY-NE2000 Instruction Manual.

2. Remove the cover panel with removing 2 screws.
3. Fit the Digital I/F Board into the place where the cover panel was removed. Slide the board into the unit in line with the both sides of the guide rails.
4. Install the Digital I/F Board into the bottom of the unit securely.

5. Install the Digital I/F Board with tightening 2 screws.
