3/8" nuts 35 ft. lbs. M8 nuts 23 ft. lbs.
7/16" nuts 60 ft. lbs. M10 nuts 45 ft. lbs.
1/2" nuts 75 ft. lbs. M12 nuts 75 ft. lbs.
9/16" nuts 160 ft. lbs. M14 nuts 120 ft. lbs.
5/8" nuts 175 ft. lbs. M16 nuts 165 ft. lbs.
INSTALLATION NOTES:
• Inspect the contents of the kit and read the entire instructions before proceeding.
• We recommend this installation be performed by a qualified technician.
• Torque all hardware to factory specifications.
• We recommend using red Loctite on all bolts.
• When removing wheels, support vehicle with jack stands.
• This kit requires the use of late model "semi-radiused" style u-bolts. If you do not have
these, you will need to obtain them.

Installation-
1) Disconnect the factory trac bar from the lower mounting @ axle (photo 1).

2) Remove bolts from the factory upper trac bar bracket and remove bracket with trac bar
(photo 2).
3) Remove lower front shock bolts.

4) Temporarily attach ORU upper trac bar bracket with ½" x 1-1/4" bolt to existing hole in bottom
of frame and at existing hole in engine cross member with ½" x 5-1/2" bolt (photo 3).

5) Mark all other mounting hole locations. Remove bracket and drill remaining ½" mounting holes.
6) Install new upper trac bar bracket and tighten.
7) Install shock mounts on ORU lower plates (photo 4).

8) Support one side of the axle and remove the factory lower shock mount (which is also the
upper spring plate) and discard. Install the ORU lower spring plate/shock mount. Repe at on
opposite side of vehicle (photo 5).

9) With the vehicle on the ground at ride height, assemble and install new adjustable trac bar with
supplied spacers (aluminum spacers @ axle) and bolts.
10) Re-attach lower shocks with new hardware. If you do not have dual shocks, you will need to
bolt the single shock in the lower bracket mount that provides the best angle (closest to vertical).
11) Install urethane bump stops (photo 6).

12) Optional: Install limiting straps to center hole in lower shock plate and a suitable upper
mounting location (varies by application).

defects in material and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to wear items such as brakes, steering components,
u-joints, etc., or to products sold by, but not manufactured by ORU. Application of this warranty is subject to inspection of
the product by ORU and at their sole discretion. ORU is not responsible for shipping charges incurred to submit product
for inspection, or its return if the warranty is declined. This warranty does not cover parts that have been modified, applied
outside the intended application, or subjected to abuse. This warranty applies solely to the ORU product and does not
extend to any incidental damage(s) or incurred cost(s). No other warranties/guarantees are expressed or implied. All
warranty claims must be accompanied by the original receipt, or reasonable facsimile. To apply for warranty
