Connect the other end of video/power cable (BNC connector only) to BNC video input on DVR rear panel.

Connect camera to video/power cable.
Connect monitor to DVR VGA video output.
Connect mouse to DVR USB input.
Connect router to DVR LAN port using ethernet cable.

Connect camera power supply to power splitter and power point.
Connect DVR power supply to DVR power input and power point.

Connect the other end of video/ power cable (DC connector only) to power splitter.
Repeat steps 1 - 3 with all 4 cameras

Take note of the DVR IP address, Media Port and HTTP Port for PC local access.
Refer to Section 4 PC Access.

Enable UPNP by ticking the check box. The DVR will automatically congure the port forwarding of Media, HTTP and Mobile ports on the router. If UPNP is not enabled or unavailable on the router, port forwarding will have to be manually congured. Refer to router instruction manual or contact ISP to manually congure router port forwarding.

Enable Mobile Monitor by ticking the check box.

Access DVR Main Menu > System > Net Service
> DDNS.

Take note of the DVR IP Address and Mobile Port for mobile device local access.
Refer to Section 5 Mobile Device Access.

Enable DDNS by ticking the check box.

Select Orion Live DDNS Type.

Enter the registered user name and password.

Enter the registered domain name.

Select OK to establish connection with DNS Server.

Take note of the DVR Domain Name, Media Port and HTTP Port for PC remote access.
Refer to Section 4 PC Access.

Take note of the DVR Domain Name and Mobile Port for mobile device remote access.
Refer to Section 5 Mobile Device Access.
Connect the DVR to the router using an Ethernet cable.

Complete network setup for local access from steps 1 to 3.

Enable DHCP by ticking the check box. Make sure DHCP is enabled on the connected router. The DVR will be automatically assigned a unique IP address if DHCP is enabled on both DVR and router. If DHCP is unavailable, set a unique IP address for the DVR. This IP address cannot be the same as any other device on the local network to make sure IP conict does not occur. Restart DVR if IP address is not assigned automatically.

Register a DNS account with at www.orionlive.
com.au/DDNS using a personal computer.

Access Main Menu > System > Network.

Make sure that the Media, HTTP and Mobile ports do not conict with any other devices’ ports on the same network. Change the port number to an unused port if there is a conict.

Enter DVR information and select OK to complete DVR entry.
• Device Name: Enter suitable DVR name.
• Device Fac: Select TS.
• Type: Select DVR.
• IP Address: Enter DVR IP address or domain name
o For local access, refer to DVR Main Menu >
System > Network to acquire local IP address.
o For remote access, refer to DVR Main Menu >
System > Net Service > DDNS to acquire
domain name.
• Port Number: Enter DVR media port. Default is 34567. Refer to Main Menu > System >
Network to acquire port number.
• User Name: Enter DVR account name.
• Password: Enter DVR account password.

The newly added DVR will appear on the Device List. Double click on the device to connect to DVR and expand the list of camera channels.

Double click on any camera channel to start live monitoring.
Install Orion CMS on personal computer.

Select Add under Device list tab and select
Add Device.
Complete network setup before adding new DVR on CMS.

Select Add in Device Management menu.

Open Orion CMS and login CMS with default username “admin” and no password.

If DVR and computer are connected to the same local network, select Auto Search. Orion CMS automatically searches for available DVR.

Enter DVR information and select Save to complete DVR entry.
• Name: Enter suitable DVR name.
• Address: Enter DVR IP address or domain name.
o For local access, refer to DVR Main Menu >
System > Network to acquire local IP address.
o For remote access, refer to DVR Main Menu >
System > Net Service > DDNS to acquire
domain name.
Port: Enter DVR Mobile Port. Default is 34599.
Refer to DVR Main Menu > System > Net Service
> Mobile Monitor to acquire port number.
• User ID: Enter DVR account name.
• Password: Enter DVR account password.
• Max Channel: Enter number of video input channels. This DVR has 4 channels.

Return to Main Interface and select + button to add DVR.
Download and install app.

Select Device List on the bottom tool bar.
Select Address Mode to enter Main Interface.

Arlec guarantees this product in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Arlec also warrants to the original rst purchaser of this product (“you”) from a retailer that this product will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase; provided the product is not used other than for the purpose, or in a manner not within the scope of the recommendations and limitations, specied by Arlec, is new and not damaged at the time of purchase, has not been subjected to abuse, misuse, neglect or damage, has not been modied or repaired without the approval of Arlec and has not been used for commercial purposes (“Warranty”).
If you wish to claim on the Warranty, you must, at your own expense, return the product, and provide proof of original purchase and your name, address and telephone number, to Arlec at the address below or the retailer from whom you originally purchased the product within 12 months from the date of purchase.
Arlec will (or authorise the retailer to) assess any claim you may make on the Warranty in the above manner and if, in Arlec’s reasonable opinion, the Warranty applies, Arlec will at its own option and expense (or authorise the retailer to) replace the product with the same or similar product or repair the product and return it to you or refund the price you paid for the product. Arlec will bear its own expenses of doing those things, and you must bear any other expenses of claiming on the Warranty.
The Warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under a law in relation to the product to which the Warranty relates.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
