Introduction

NanoActiv Skin Restoring System is a new breakthrough which features patented Nano

Cyclone technology (NCT) to facilitate a nano cool mist and efficiently deliver ultra

Before Ucse

•

This device is for skin and hair treatments

only, it is not appropriate for other purposes

• Do not use or store the device in humid place

such as bathroom, kitchen…etc.

• Do not tilt or shake the device if any water/

solution remains inside the water tank.

• Do not place the device near water or areas

prone to dust or damp for extended periods of

time. This may cause a fire or an electric shock.

• Make sure there are no electronic product in

the vicinity of the mist.

•

Do not modify, disassemble or repair the device

by yourself. Please contact Oregon Scientific

if the item doesn’t work properly.

When Using

•

Do not unplug the device when it is operating.

•

Do not use the device if the device or the

power adapter is damaged.

• Do not use the device or press the buttons

with wet hands.

• Do not leave the device unattended once it is

connected with the power supply.

•

Do not use the device near any flammable

substances, such as alcohol, thinner, aerosols,

etc.

• Do not insert any objects into, block or cover

the mist outlet and the air inlet, which is located

near the power socket.

•

Do not use any power adapter except the

one provided.

• Do not open the water compartment during operation.

• Do not open the water tank cover during operation.

• Keep the water container inside the compartment during operation.

• Do not pour water directly into the water tank. Always use the water

container.

•

Only use distilled water or herbal solution and serums provided by

Oregon Scientific for the device

• Refill with fresh distilled water or herbal solutions for each use.

• Do not place the device too close to curtains or other objects when

releasing mist.

• Do not direct the mist towards your eyes. Close eyes if spraying mist

directly onto your face.

•

To prevent internal leakage, level the device when fill with distilled water,

herbal solution or serums.

• Do not damage, manipulate, excessively bend, pull or twist the electric

cord or the extension hose.

• Turn off the device and unplug it from the outlet before cleaning.

• If any liquid leakage is found, turn off the device and disconnect with

the power supply before draining the water. Carefully check to ensure

the water tank cover and the drain saucer are closed properly.

• When pouring distilled water, herbal solution or serums, make sure the

drain switch is set to “Close”.

Cautions

• Stop using the device immediately if you feel unwell or abnormalities.

• If you encounter any skin problems after use, stop using the device

and consult your doctor

• If you have one of the following health issues, please consult your

doctors before use:

Using the Device

Getting accustomed to the device

Those new to the device should start with skin treatments twice a day, or hair treatment 2-3 times a week.

If you encounter any skin problems after use, stop using the device and consult your doctor�

Check the followings before using the product:

Getting Started

Make sure the device is turned off and unplugged from the mains outlet before filling with water solution or distilled water.

Press the button on the water tank compartment and slide to open the cover.

Herbal Solution

Pull out the water container.

Turn the container cap anti-clockwise to open the container.

Fill the container with Herbal Solution up to the 45ml mark and mix with 2 full pumps of either

Intensive Restoring Serum for Face Mode or Revitalizing Hair Treatment Serum for Hair Mode.

Do not add other substances such as aroma oil or lotion

to the container�

Use herbal solutions and serums provided by Oregon

Scientific

Fill the container with distilled water up to 75ml mark for Sleep / Aromatherapy Mode.

Do not add ground water, mineral water, spring water,

ionised water or saline to the container, as it may

damage the device�

Turn the container cap clockwise to close the container.

Do not press the valve on the cap when

the container is upside down. Otherwise,

the solution inside will leak.

Insert the container back to the compartment. The solution will drain to the water tank. Close the cover before use.

Operation

A. Setup

B. Skin Treatment

Place the device on a sturdy, level and dry surface.

Connect the power adapter to the device. Plug the power adapter to a main outlet.

Press to turn on the device.

Press the key to start the skin treatment. A LED above the key will light up. Each treatment lasts for 5 minutes.

The appropriate distance between the mist outlet and the face should be from 20-25cm.

Press the key again to increase the mist volume. Two LEDs above the key will light up.

To direct the mist to a specific area, attach the extension hose and the nozzle during use. Hold the nozzle approximately 15-20cm from the target area.

The extension hose has limited length. Don’t pull the

extension hose if the treatment area is too far away.

Bring the device closer if necessary.

Press the key during operation to switch the device to standby mode. Otherwise the device will switch to standby mode after 5 mins the session is finished.

Close the eyes when the mist is directly sprayed on you face

C. Hair Treatment

Attach the comb, the nozzle and the extension hose to the mist outlet.

Press the key to start the hair treatment. One LED above the key will light up. Each treatment lasts for 5 minutes.

Press the key again to increase the mist volume. Two LEDs above the key will light up.

Comb your hair and start the hair treatment

Press the key during operation to switch the device to standby mode. Otherwise the device will switch to standby mode after 5 mins the session is finished.

Hair treatment of 5 mins course is recommended for short or

middle length hair. One more course is needed for long and

more intensive treatment.

D. Sleep Mode

Attach the nozzle to the device. Rotate the nozzle to your desired direction.

Place the device on a level surface near the bed so the mist can reach your target area. Adjust the nozzle angle to what is comfortable for you that is within 30cm from the target area.

Do not place the device on the bed as the device is

susceptible to being knocked over�

D. Sleep Mode - Continued

E. Aromatherapy

Press the key to start the sleep mode. The device will emit mist for 1 minute and then pause for 7 minutes. This cycle will last until the water runs out. A full tank of water can last around 8 hours.

Press the key to switch the device to standby mode.

Unscrew to open the aroma head.

Take out the sponge and place a few drops of aroma oil on it.

Put the sponge back.

Close the aroma diffuser head.

Attach the aroma head to the mist outlet.

Press the key to start the aromatherapy.

Aromatherapy mode is for relaxation� It is not intended to be

used for skin treatment� Do not spray the aromatic mist onto

your face�

Cleaning and Maintenance

Turn off the device and unplug it from the power supply before cleaning�

A. Draining the distilled water / herbal solution / serum

Slide the drain switch to the “Drain” position. The blue LED at the base will start flashing

and the solution inside the water tank will be released to the drain saucer.

Place the device in a level position, then hold and rotate the main unit to the left to separate it from the saucer.

Lift up the main unit, remove the drain saucer and empty the water.

Put the saucer back, Place the unit on the saucer

• Ensure the drain saucer is empty before draining the water from the device� Otherwise, water will leak out from the saucer and may damage the device�

• Never leave water, herbal solution or serum in the saucer� Empty the saucer after each draining�

• Do not reuse the distilled water, herbal solution or serum from previous treatments�

and rotate it until the dot ( ) on the main unit aligns with the dot ( ) on the saucer.

Lock the device by sliding the drain switch to the “Close” position.

Open the water tank compartment.

If herbal solution or serum is used, fill the container with distilled water, insert it into the container compartment and drain.

Turn the water tank cover anticlockwise and take it out.

Use the cleaning brush to clean the diffusing plate and the inner surface of the water tank.

Don’t apply excessive force when cleaning the

diffusing plate�

Fill the container with distilled water, insert it into the container compartment and drain again for a through cleaning.

Drain the water tank and

empty the drain saucer before picking up or moving the device.

• Do not use abrasive powders or solvents, such as benzene or thinner to clean the device.

• Use a dry cloth to clean its surface.

Before storing the device, drain all water or Herbal Solution inside. Wait until the water tank is dry and use the mist outlet stopper to seal the mist outlet.
