Transfer Belt

Replacement Instructions

Caution! The fuser unit (at the
back of the printer) may be
HOT. Let it cool down before
attempting to replace the trans­fer belt.

1.Turn off the printer.

2.Pull up on the handle and lift the cover.

the blue handle (squared).

5.Grasp both handles and lift the transfer belt unit out of the printer. Discard in accordance with local regulations.

8.Using the blue handle, firmly push the unit into place until it clicks. If necessary, pull the blue lock lever (circled) toward the front of the printer to lock the transfer belt into place.

9.Place the drum/toner cradle back into the printer.

3.Lift out the drum/toner cradle.

(circled) and, while holding
the lock lever, lift the end of

Caution! Make sure the blue
lock levers at either end of the
fuser have snapped back lock­ing the fuser unit in place. If
not, pull them toward the f ront
of the printer.

6.Unpack the new transfer belt unit.

Caution! Be careful to avoid
touching the shiny black sur­face of the transfer belt.

7.Hold the transfer belt by the handles and lower it into the printer, carefully aligning the pins at the front of the belt into the slots at the front of the printer.

10.Close the cover and turn on the printer.

under normal and proper use, pro­vided however, that it is properly
stored and maintained in the original
packaging. This Limited Warranty is

date of purchase by the end user.
Should a Consumable which has been
properly stored and maintained in the
original packaging be determined by
Oki Data to be defective, it will be
repaired or replaced, at Oki Data’s
option, at no charge to the end user.
To make claim under this Limited
Warranty, the original purchaser must
return this product to the place of
original purchase or to Oki Data. Con­sumables returned to Oki Data are to
be returned in the original package or
equivalent, shipper to bear cost of
shipping and risk of loss in transit and
must be accompanied by a written
receipt for the product, showing the
date of purchase, dealer’s name and
item purchased.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE
SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY
OFFERED ON THIS CONSUMABLE
ITEM, AND OKI DATA OFFERS NO
OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIM­ITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR USE.
Oki Data shall not be responsible or
liable for any special, incidental or
consequential damages or loss arising
from the use of this product.
This Limited Warranty applies to all
Oki Consumables, however the pro­cedure for obtaining coverage under
this Limited Warranty is available by
