is engin eered with a removable
module that can be mounted on a pock et watch chain, an a ttachment of defi nitive s tyle honed from
the sa me ultra pre mium metal. Classic meets contemporary in a work of soph istication th at blends th e
precision of 25-jewel movement with the intricate mechanics of a self-winding mechanism.
Attenuat ed by an ETACH RON regula tor, the heartbeat of th is instru ment is 28,800 vibrations per hour
at a freque ncy of four h ertz. Its chronogr aph shows measured time in sub dials that display elapsed
seconds, minutes and hours . Augmented with su btly dimens ional relie fs, the uniquely s tyled dial face
includes a date and day display. The elements of the sculptural bracelet are forged from solid titanium ,
and a cam lever for the removable module highl ights both the wristwatch mount and the included
pocket wat ch chain. Enhanced by a pure sapph ire crystal with ant i-reflective coat ing, Full Metal Jack et
is precision engineered to withstand water pressure equivalent to a dep th of 330 feet (100m).

If the ti mepiece has rest ed idle for an ex tended
period and the st ored ene rgy is depleted, it can
be st arted quickl y with a few movements of your
wrist. Mov e it back and forth at a rate of twice per
second. ( For more information, see the se ction on
Powering the Timepie ce.)
Full Metal Jacket has a locking screw-down
crown for water resistance. You must unscrew
the crow n bef ore pulling it out to the c lick
positions that let you set the timepiece.
The first clic k position is for setting the date
and day. Th e second click position is for setting
the time.
To set the time piece the first time (or to set it after
it h as rested idle for an ext ended period and the
hands have stopped), do the following:
1. Unscrew the crown f rom the case . Pull the
crown out to the first click position (a).
2. Turn the crown clockwise until yesterday ’s date
appear s. Tu rn th e crow n cou nterclockwise
until yesterday’s day appears.
3. Pull the crown out to the second click position (b).
4. Turn the crown counter clockwise unt il today’s
date and da y appear, then conti nue forward
until the current time is reached. If the current
time is in th e after noon or e vening, move the
hour hand all the way around the d ial to pass
12 noon.
5. Push the crown back in and gently turn it
clockwis e until it screws into the case. Be
careful not to over tighten the crown, as th is
will damage the mechanism.
To set the exa ct seco nd, wai t until the hand on
the second-c ounting sub dial (at the left of the
main dial fac e) reaches “60” before you pull out
the crown to the second click position (b). Set the
time then wait until the exa ct second is reac hed
before pushing the crown back in.
TO ADJUST THE TIME FOR SUBSEQUENT SETTINGS, USE THESE SHORT PROCEDURES
TO SET THE TIME
1. Unscrew the crown from the case. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a).
2. Pull the crown out to the second click position (b).
3. Turn the crown clockwise until you reach the correct time.
4. Push the crown back in and gently turn it clockwise until it screws into the case. Be careful not to over
tighten the crown, as this will damage the mechanism.
TO SET THE DATE AND DAY (WHEN THE CURRENT TIME OF DAY IS ALREADY CORRECT)
NOTE: Do not use this procedure between 8 PM and 2 AM.
1. Unscrew the crown from the case. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a).
2. Turn the crown clockwise until you reach the correct date. Turn the crown counterclockwise until you
reach the correct day.
3. Push the crown back in and gently turn it clockwise until it screws into the case. Be careful not to over
tighten the crown, as this will damage the mechanism.

Note: When the sub dial at the top has completed
one 30-min ute rota tion, th e han d in the sub
dial at the bottom will be halfway between two
hour marks, indicating the sub dial at the top is
displaying minutes for the second half of the hour.

Before using the chronograph, ensure the crown

POWERING THE TIMEPIECE
Full Metal Jacket converts every moveme nt of you r wrist i nto energy that is stored mecha nically. The
design p revents overcharging, no matter how long the timepiece is worn. After the timepiece has been
worn e nough to reach a full charge of stored energy, it has 46 hours of reserve runni ng time, s o it will
not stop running i f you take it off a nd store it for up to 46 hours . Daily wear will ke ep it continuously
charged with energy.
If the timepiece has rested idle for an extended period and the stored energy is depleted, it can be started quickly with a few movements of your wrist. Move it back and forth at a rate of twice per second.
To w ind the timepiece manually, u nscrew the crown t hen turn the crown clockwise without pulling it
out to position 1 or position 2. Wh en finis hed, push the crown in and gently turn i t clockwi se until it
screws into the case. Be careful not to over tighten the crown, as this will damage the mechanism.
STANDBY MODE
If the timepiece will not be worn for an extended peri od, you can maintain the stored mechan ical
energy by usin g Standby Mode. Unscrew the crown and pull it out to th e second click position (b) to
put the timepiece in Standby Mode.

MOUNTING THE MODULE
The ti mekeeping mo dule can be t ransferre d
between the wristwatch chas sis and the chassis
on the pocket watch chain.
TO TRANSFER THE MODULE
1. Open the cam lever on the chassis.
2. Lift the module out of the chassis where it is
currently mounted (It may be necessary to push
the module out from the back side. When doing
so, push it out squarely and evenly, and be careful
not to allow the module to fall to the ground).

3. Place the module into the chassis where it will
be mounted. Be sure it is fully and squarely
seated in place.
4. Close the cam lever, and be sure it clicks
fully into t he close d positi on. If there is a
NOTABLE AMOUNT OF RESISTANCE whe n
closing the cam lever tha t ho lds the module,
do not at tempt to force the cam lev er close d.
Open the cam lever and check to en sure the
module is ful ly and squarely seated in pl ace
before attempting to close the cam lever again.

SAFEGUARDING
WATER EXPOSURE
Prior to exposing the timepiece to water, ensure the crown is pushed fully down against the case then
turn it clockwise to tighten the water seal. (Be careful not to over tighten the crown, as this will damage
the mechanism.) Rated at 10-bar hydrophobic, the timepiece may be worn during bathing, swimming and
shallow diving. It is not designed for scuba or saturation diving. Do not pull out the crown or use the buttons
if the timepiece is wet. If used in seawater, rinse the timepiece with fresh water and dry completely.
TEMPERATURE
For precision timekeeping, normal operating temperature is 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F).
MAGNETISM
Strong magnetic fields can have an adverse effect on the timepiece. Keep it away from magnetic objects.
CHEMICALS
The t imepiece may become dis colored or damage d if exposed to cosmetic spray, detergents,
adhesives, solvents, or paints.
SHOCK WAVE
Although the timepiece resists shock damage, impact against a har d surfac e may cause damage to
the movement or crystal.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
To ensure that the case, cro wn, crystal seal, and gasket remain res istant to water exposure, it is
recommen ded that the timepiece b e inspected once every two to three years by a n Authorized Oakley
Service Center.
BAND ADJUSTMENT
If links need t o be added or re moved from th e metal bracelet, the adjustmen t should be done by an
Authoriz ed Oakley Timepie ce Dealer. Do not attempt to short en the bracelet by removing link s yourself,
as this ma y result in damage to the brace let. The included screw driver is for use by Authorized Dealers
only. If the bracelet needs to be shortened, bring the sc rewdriver with the timepiece when you visit
an Authorized Dealer.
CLEANING
Failure to keep the case and bracelet clean may result in a skin rash . Use a soft, clean cl oth to wipe
off any moisture that adheres to the case or bracelet.

Der durch einen ETACHRON-Regu lator ge dämpfte Herzsch lag dieses Instruments bet rägt 28.800
Schwingungen pro Stunde, was einer Frequenz von vier Hertz entspricht. Der Chronograph zeigt die
gemessene Zeit über kleinere Zifferblätter an, anhand derer verstrichene Sekunden, Minuten und Stunden
abgelesen werden können. Das in einzigartigem Stil gehaltene und durch subtil dimensionale Reliefs
akzentuierte Zifferblatt umfasst eine Datums- und Wochentagsanzeige. Die Elemente des plastischen
Armbands sind aus reinem Titan geschmiedet, und ein Kurvenhebel für das abnehmbare Modul hebt

1. Schrauben Sie die Krone vom Gehäuse weg.
Ziehen Sie die Krone in die erste Klickposition (a).
2. Drehen Sie die Krone im Uhrzeigersinn, bis das
gestrige Datum angeze igt wird . Drehen Si e
die Krone geg en den Uhrz eigersinn, bis der
gestrige Wochentag angezeigt wird.
3. Ziehen Sie die Krone in die zweite Klickposition (b).
4. Drehen Sie die Krone gegen den Uhr zeigersinn,
bis der heuti ge Wochentag un d das heutige
Datum angezeigt w erden. Drehe n Sie dann
weiter vorwärt s, bis die aktuell e Zeit errei cht
wurde. We nn Sie di es am Na chmittag oder
Abend tun, bewegen Si e den Stun denzeiger
einma l um d as Ziff erblatt herum , a n der
Position für 12 Uhr Mittags vorbei.
5. Drücken Sie die Kro ne wie der hinein , und
drehen Sie sie sanf t im Uhrzeigersin n, bi s
sie wieder ganz an das Gehäuse geschra ubt
wurde. Achten Sie darauf, die Krone nicht
zu star k an zuziehe n, d a hie rdurch der
Mechanismus beschädigt werden kann.
Um die genaue Sek undenzeit einzustellen, warten
Sie bi s, de r Zei ger d es Se kundenzif ferblatts
(auf der linke n Seit e des Hau ptziffer blatts)
"60" erreicht hat, bevor Sie die K rone in d ie

Sie dann die Uhrze it ein, un d warten Sie die
genaue Sekunde ab, bevor Sie die Krone wi eder

drehen Sie sie sanft im Uhrzeigersinn, bis sie
wieder ganz an das Gehäuse geschraubt wurde.
Achten Sie darauf, die Krone nicht zu stark
anzuziehen, d a hierdurch der Mechanismus
beschädigt werden kann.

VERWENDUNG DES CHRONOGRAPHEN ANTRIEB DER UHR
Full Met al Jacket wandelt jede Bewegung Ihres Handgelenks in mechanisch gesp eicherte Energi e um.
Das Design verhindert eine Üb erladung, ganz gle ich, wie lange die Uh r getragen wi rd. Nachd em die
Uhr la nge genug getragen wurde, um die volle Energiespeicher ung zu erre ichen, verfüg t sie über eine
Reservez eit von 46 Stund en. Sie hört als o nicht auf zu laufen, wenn Sie sie ablegen und für bis zu 46
Stunden liegen lassen. Bei täglicher Nutzung wird sie kontinuierlich mit Energie versorgt.
Wenn die Uhr über einen längeren Zeitraum hinweg still gelegen hat und die gespeicherte Energie
aufgebra ucht i st, ka nn sie durch einige wenige Handgelenksbe wegungen wieder gestartet werden.
Bewegen Sie sie mit einem Rhythmus von etwa zwei Schwingungen pro Sekunde hin und her.
Sie können die Uhr manuell aufdrehen, indem Sie die Krone a bschrauben und dann im Uhrz eigersinn
drehen, ohne sie auf Position 1 oder Position 2 herauszuziehen. Drücken Sie die Krone wiede r
hinein, wenn Sie fertig sind, und drehen Sie sie sanft im Uhrzeigersinn, bis sie wieder ganz an da s
Gehäuse geschraubt wurde. Achten Sie darauf, die K rone nicht zu stark anzuziehen, da hierdurch der
Mechanismus beschädigt werden kann.
STANDBY-MODUS
Wenn d ie Uhr über einen läng eren Zeitraum hinweg nic ht getragen wird, können Sie di e gespeichert e
mechanische Energie anhand des Standby-Modus aufbewahren. Drehen Sie die Krone heraus, und

BEFESTIGUNG DES MODULS - FORTSETZUNG
3. Setzen Sie das Modul in das Chassis ein, in dem
es befestigt werden soll. Achten Sie darauf, dass
es vollständig und gleichmäßig eingesetzt ist.
4. Schließen Sie den Kur venhebel, und achten
Sie darauf, dass er in der Verschlusspo sition

ERHEBLICHER WIDERSTAND ZU SPÜREN IST,
versuche n Sie nicht, den He bel mit Gewalt zu
schließen. Öffnen Sie den Kurve nhebel, und
überprüf en Sie, ob das Mo dul vollständig und
gleichmä ßig eingesetz t ist, bevor Sie erneut
versuchen, den Hebel zu schließen.

ANPASSUNG DES ARMBANDS
Wenn Glieder aus dem Metallarmband entfernt bzw. hinzugefügt werden müssen, sollte diese Anpassung von
einem autorisierten Oakley-Uhrenhändler vorgenommen werden. Versuchen Sie nicht selbst, das Armband zu
verkürzen, da dies zu einer Beschädigung des Armbands führen könnte. Der mitgelieferte Schraubenzieher ist
nur zur Verwendung durch autorisierte Händler vorgesehen. Wenn das Armband verkürzt werden muss, bringen
Sie neben der Uhr auch den Schraubenzieher mit, wenn Sie sich an Ihren autorisierten Händler wenden.
REINIGUNG
Wenn das Gehäuse und das Armba nd nicht sauber geh alten werde n, kann dies in vereinzelten Fällen
zu Hautausschlag führ en. Verwenden Sie ein weiches, sauberes Tuc h, um Feuchtigkei t am Gehäuse
oder am Armband abzuwischen.

Bevor Sie die Uhr unter Wasser halten, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Krone vollstän dig gegen das
Gehäuse gedrückt ist, und drehen Sie sie im Uhrzeigersin n, um den Wasserverschlu ss zu zuziehen.
(Achten Sie darauf, die Krone nicht zu stark anzuziehen, da hierdurch der M echanismus beschädigt
werden kann.) Die Uhr ist st andardmäßig bis zu einem Druck von 10 ba r wasserab weisend un d kann
beim Ba den, beim Sch wimmen und be im Tauchen in seichten Gew ässern getrage n werden. Für Sportoder Sättigungstauchen ist sie nicht vorgesehen. Vermeiden Sie es, die Krone herauszu ziehen oder die
Tasten zu drück en, während die Uhr nass i st. Wenn Sie die Uhr im Meer ange habt haben, spülen Sie
sie mit Frischwasser ab, und las sen Sie sie vollständig trocknen.
TEMPERATUR
