Reloaded with architecture that completely reinvents the art of timekeeping, our original Time Bomb® has been rearmed as an all-mechanical Swiss automatic. This rebirth of a ten year legacy features 25-jewel auto-mechanical movement that never needs winding. The craftsmanship of Swiss watchmaking is accented by a sculptural band of lightweight titanium plate s. Each plate is mo unted separately over a composite core, an internal skeleton jacketed with Unobtainium

rubber.

Kinetic energy is translated with every movement of the wrist and stored for a reserve running time of up to 38 ho urs. A carb on fi ber be zel s urrounds a display of refined sophisticat ion, augmented with a date indicator. Enhanced with anti-reflective coati ng, a crystal of p ure sa pphire protects the analog display, and the same durable material is us ed to create a window on t he back of th e case for viewing the mechanical engine. A dual-seal crown maintains water resistance that can me et a level of pressure equivalent to 100 meters / 330 feet beneath the surface.

TO SET THE TIME

1. Pull the crown out to the second click position (b).

2. Turn the crown until you reach the correct time.

3. Push the crown back down.

TO SET THE DATE

1. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a).

2. Turn the crown until you reach the correct date. If the current time is between 9 PM and midnight,

set the date to the following day. (This is necessary to ensure the date display will normally change at midnight instead of 12 noon.)

3. Push the crown back down.

Time Bomb® II converts every movement of your wrist into energy that is stored mechanically. Daily wear will keep it continuously charged with energy. The design preve nts overcharging, no matter how long the timepiece is worn.

If Time Bomb

II has rested idle for an extended period and the stored energy is depleted, the timepiece can be started quickly with a few movements of your wrist. Move it back and forth at a pace of twice per second.

STANdBY mOdE

After the stored energy reaches full capacity, Time Bomb® II will continue to run for approximately 38 hours with no ad ditional movement. If you are not planning to wear the timepiece f or an extended p eriod and you wish to leave it stored with mechanical energy, pull the crown out to the second click position (b) to put the timepiece in Standby Mode

BANd AdjuSTmENT

If links need to be removed from the band, an Author ized Oakley Timepiece Dealer should do the adjustmen t. Do not attempt to shorten the bracelet by removing links yourself, as this may result in damage.

CLEANiNg

Failure to keep the case and bracelet clean may result in a skin rash. Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe off any moisture that adheres to the case or bracelet.

SETTING THE DATE AND TIME

Your Oakley timepiece has a pu sh-down crown with a d ual se al for added prote ction agains t moisture . The crown can be pulled out to two click position s for setting the date an d time. After setting is com plete, push the crown fully again st the cas e to maintain moisture resistance.

To set the date and time the first time (or to reset the date and time), do the following:

1. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a).

2. Turn the crown until yesterday’s date appears.

3. Pull the crown out to the second click position (b).

4. Turn the hands forwar d unti l toda y’s da te appears, then continu e forward unt il the curren t time i s reached. I f the current time is in the afternoo n or evening, mov e the hour hand al l the way around the dial to pass 12 noon.

5. Push the crown back down.

To set the exact second, wait until the hand that counts seconds reaches the z ero mark (at the top of the dial) before you p ull out the cr own. Set the time then wait until the exact second is reached before pushing the crown back down.

WATER EXPOSURE Prior t o exposing t he timepiece to water, en sure the crow n is pushed fully down a gainst the case. Ra ted at 10-bar hydrophobic, the timepiece may be worn during bathing, swimming and shallow diving. It is not designed for scuba or saturation divi ng. Do n ot pull out the crown if the timepiece i s wet. I f used i n seawater, rinse the timepiece with fresh water and dry completely. If the timepiece is a leather strap model, avoid soaking the strap, as this may damage the natural leather.

TEMPERATURE For precision timekeeping, normal operating temperature is 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F).

MAGNETISM Strong magnetic fields can have an adverse effect on the timepiece. Keep it away from magnetic objects.

CHEMICALS The timepiece may become discolored or damaged if exposed to cosmetic spray, detergents, adhesives, solvents, or paints.

SHOCK WAVE Although the tim epiece resis ts shock damage, impact against a hard surfa ce may c ause damage to the movement or crystal.

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE To ensure that the case, crown, crystal seal, and gasket remain resistant to water exposure, it is recommended that the timepiece be inspected once every 2 to 3 years by an Authorized Oakley Service Center.

All authentic Oakley timekeeping instruments are warranted against manufacturer’s defects for two full years from the date of purchase. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Timepiece Dealer.

IMPORTANT This limited war ranty does not cover the cry stal, strap /band/bracelet, or atta chments. The deteriorat ion of leather components is not covered, nor are scratches to the case caused by use, nor is mo isture damage if the timepiece is a non-hydrophobic model, nor is damage caused by natural disaster such as fire, flood, or earthquake. We reserve the right to relinquish all responsibility under this guarantee for repair of damage when mis use or abuse i s evident, including d efects rel ated to tampering or ser vicing done by agents other than Authorized Oakley Service Facilities. This warranty does not affect specific legal rights of the consumer.

II perma nece inactivo p or un tiempo pro longado y la ene rgía almacenada se agota , se lo puede poner en funcionamiento rápidam ente c on unos pocos movimientos de muñeca. Muéva lo hacia delante y atrás, a un ritmo de dos veces por segundo.

mOdO dE ESpErA

Una vez que la energía almacenada alcanza la capacidad total, el reloj Time Bomb® II continúa funcionando por aproximadamente 38 horas, sin necesidad de movimiento adicional. Si no piensa usar el reloj por un tiempo pro longado y desea guardarlo con en ergía mecá nica, ext raiga la corona hasta l a segunda posición ajustable (b) para poner el reloj en modo de espera.

AjuSTE dE LA puLSErA

Si necesita quitar eslabones de la pulsera, el ajuste debe ser realizado únicamente por un distribuidor autorizado de relojes Oakley. No intente acortar la pulsera quitando usted mismo los eslabones, pues podría estropearla.

LimpiEZA

Para evitar erupcion es cut áneas, es importante mantener limpias la caja y la pulsera. Utilice un paño suave y limpio para eliminar cualquier humedad adherida a la caja o a la pulsera.

AJUSTE DE FECHA Y HORA

Su reloj Oakley po see una corona q ue se presiona hacia abajo y un sello doble para una mejor protección contra la humedad. La corona puede extraerse a dos posiciones ajustables, con el fin de ajustar l a fecha y la hora. Un a vez que completó el ajuste, e mpuje la corona c ompletamente con tra la caja, para mantener la resistencia a la humedad.

Para ajusta r la fecha y la hora por primera vez (o para reajustarlas después de cambiar la pila), proceda de la siguiente manera:

1. Tire de la co rona hasta la pr imera posici ón ajustable (a).

2. Gire la corona hasta que aparezca la fecha de ayer.

3. Tire de la corona hasta la segunda posición

ajustable (b).

4. Gire las ma necillas hac ia delante hasta que aparezca la fecha de hoy, luego continúe hacia delante hasta alcanzar la h ora actual. Si la hora actual corresponde a la t arde o la noche, gire el h orario una vuelta comple ta de la esfera hasta pasar las 12 en punto del mediodía.

5. Presione la cor ona hacia abajo, a su posición original.

Para ajust ar el segu ndo exacto, espere h asta que el segundero alcance la marca cero (parte superior de la esfera) antes de extraer la corona . Ajuste la hora y luego espere has ta a lcanzar el segundo exacto, antes de presionar la corona hacia abajo.

EXPOSICIÓN AL AGUA Antes de exponer el reloj al agua, asegúrese de qu e la corona está completamente presionada hacia

abajo contra la caja. E l reloj, que cuenta con una pre sión hid rófoba de 10 bar, puede llevarse puesto durante el ase o, la natación o el buc eo a p oca profun didad. No está di señado para el submarinismo ni para el buceo de saturación. No extraiga la corona si el reloj está húmedo. Si se utiliza en agua salada, aclare el reloj con agua dulce y séquelo completamente. Si el modelo del reloj tiene una correa de cuero, evite mojar la correa, ya que esto podría dañar el cuero.

TEMPERATURA Para que el reloj conserve su precisión, la temperatura normal de uso debe mantenerse entre 0°C y 50°C
