OAKLEY BOTTLE CAP™

A pure approach of clean lines, Oakley Bottle Cap™ is a Swiss Made timepiece engineered with gold-plated, five-jewel
quartz movement. Its bold highlights are honed with ingenious simplicity in a classic look of authentic Oakley design.
Impact-forged stainless steel is tooled with high-precision Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machining to craft the
case, and a pure sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating shields a three-hand analog display augmented with a
mechanical date display.

We made Bottle Cap™ for active lifestyles, so it features 10-bar water resistance (equivalent to a depth of 100m/330
feet). Built for endurance, it has a battery life of approximately five years, and an indicator alerts the wearer when
the battery has reached the end of its life span. A strap of durable Unobtainium® rubber offers comfort that goes the
distance.

Your Oakley timepiece has a push-down crown with
a dual seal for added protection against moisture. The
crown can be pulled out to two click positions. The first
click position is for setting the date. The second click
position is for setting the time.

To set the timepiece the first time (or to reset the date
and time after the battery is replaced), do the following:

1. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a).

2. Turn the crown clockwise until yesterday’s date appears.

3. Pull the crown out to the second click position (b).

4. Turn the hands forward until today’s date appears,
then continue forward until the current time is
displayed. If the current time is in the afternoon or
evening, move the hour hand all the way around the
dial to pass noon.

5. Push the crown back in so it is fully pressed down
against the case.

To set the exact second, wait until the second-

counting hand reaches “O” at the top of the dial before
you pull out the crown to the second click position
(b). Set the time then wait until the exact second is
reached before pushing the crown back in.

TO ADJUST THE TIME AND DATE FOR SUBSEQUENT SETTINGS, USE THESE SHORT PROCEDURES:

TO SET THE TIME

1. Pull the crown out to the second click position (b).

2. Turn the crown until you reach the correct time.

3. Push the crown back in.
TO SET THE DATE

1. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a).

2. Turn the crown clockwise until you reach the correct date.
If the current time is between 9 PM and midnight, set

the date to the following day. (This is necessary to
ensure the display will change normally at midnight
instead of noon.)

3. Push the crown back in.
Setting the date too quickly may result in the incorrect

date being displayed. To restore synchronization,
gradually turn the crown to go through the range of
date settings (from 01 to 31) when performing the
instructions above.

POWER SAVING MODE

When the timepiece is not in use, the battery life can be prolonged by pulling the crown out to the second click position
(b). This will stop the hands and reduce power consumption.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

The miniature battery that powers the timepiece is designed to last approximately five years. However, because the
battery is inserted at the factory for extensive performance checks, its actual life, once in your possession, may be less.

The timepiece has a system that indicates when battery power is low. When the second-counting hand advances at
four-second intervals, the battery should be replaced.

Battery replacement may be performed only by an Authorized Oakley Service Center. Any attempt to open the watch
case by persons other than Authorized Oakley Service Professionals will void the product warranty.

BAND ADJUSTMENT

Not all Oakley timepiece designs are available with a metal bracelet, rubber strap or leather strap; refer to the
information below as it applies to your timepiece.

METAL BRACELET MODEL
If links need to be added or removed from the band, the adjustment should be done by an Authorized Oakley Timepiece
Dealer. Do not attempt to shorten the bracelet by removing links yourself, as this may result in damage.

RUBBER STRAP MODEL
For the right fit, some rubber strap models with clasp closures may require trimming of the rubber strap itself. An
Authorized Oakley Timepiece Dealer should do the adjustment. Do not attempt to shorten the rubber strap yourself,
as this may result in damage.

LEATHER STRAP MODEL
The natural leather of the strap may stretch slightly during break-in, so adjust the fit accordingly.

CLEANING

Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe off any moisture that adheres to the case or band. Failure to keep contact surfaces
clean may result in a skin rash.

SAFEGUARDING

WATER EXPOSURE
Prior to exposing the timepiece to water, ensure the crown is pushed in and is fully pressed down against the case.
Rated at 10-bar hydrophobic, the timepiece may be worn during bathing, swimming and shallow diving. It is not
designed for scuba or saturation diving. Do not pull out the crown if the timepiece is wet. If used in seawater, rinse the
timepiece with fresh water and dry completely.

TEMPERATURE
For precision timekeeping, normal operating temperature is 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F).

MAGNETISM
Strong magnetic fields can have an adverse effect on the timepiece. Keep it away from magnetic objects.

CHEMICALS
The timepiece may become discolored or damaged if exposed to cosmetic spray, detergents, adhesives, solvents or paints.

SHOCK WAVE
Although the timepiece resists shock damage, impact against a hard surface may cause damage to the movement or crystal.

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
To ensure that the case, crown, crystal seal and gasket remain resistant to water exposure, it is recommended that the
timepiece be inspected once every two to three years by an Authorized Oakley Service Center.

OAKLEY WARRANTY POLICY

All authentic Oakley timepieces are warranted to the original purchaser for two years from the date of purchase against
manufacturer’s defects. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley Timepiece Dealer. Your
exclusive remedy for a breach of this warranty will be the repair or replacement of the item as determined by Oakley.

IMPORTANT
This limited warranty does not cover the crystal, strap/band/bracelet, or attachments. The deterioration of leather
components is not covered, nor are scratches to the case caused by use, nor is moisture damage if the timepiece is a non­hydrophobic model, nor is damage caused by natural disaster such as fire, flood, or earthquake. Oakley reserves the right to
relinquish all responsibility under this guarantee for repair of damage when misuse or abuse is evident, including defects
related to tampering or servicing done by agents other than Authorized Oakley Service Facilities. This warranty gives you
specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

To qualify for service under this warranty, you must provide a valid proof of purchase which clearly shows the purchase
date and the name of the Authorized Oakley Timepiece Dealer when making a repair claim during the warranty period.

Ihre Oakley-Uhr hat eine Druckkrone mit doppelter
Versiegelung, die zusätzlichen Schutz vor Feuchtigkeit
bietet. Die Krone kann auf zwei Klickpositionen heraus
gezogen werden. Über die erste Klickposition wird das
Datum eingestellt. Über die zweite Klickposition wird die
Uhrzeit eingestellt.

Gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor, um die Uhr erstmalig
einzurichten (oder um Datum und Uhrzeit neu
einzustellen, nachdem die Batterie ersetzt wurde):

1. Ziehen Sie die Krone in die erste Klickposition (a).

2. Drehen Sie die Krone im Uhrzeigersinn, bis das
gestrige Datum angezeigt wird.

3. Ziehen Sie die Krone in die zweite Klickposition (b).

4. Drehen Sie die Zeiger vorwärts, bis das heutige Datum
angezeigt wird. Drehen Sie sie dann weiter vorwärts,
bis die aktuelle Zeit angezeigt wird. Wenn Sie dies
am Nachmittag oder Abend tun, bewegen Sie den
Stundenzeiger einmal um das Zifferblatt herum, an der
Position für 12 Uhr Mittags vorbei.

5. Drücken Sie die Krone wieder hinein, so dass sie
vollständig gegen das Gehäuse gedrückt ist.

Um die genaue Sekunde einzustellen, warten Sie,

bis der Sekundenzeiger die “O”-Marke oben am
Ziffernblatt erreicht, bevor Sie die Krone auf die
zweite Klickposition (b) herausziehen. Stellen Sie die
Zeit ein, und warten Sie dann, bis die genaue Sekunde
erreicht wird, und drücken Sie die Krone anschließend
wieder hinein.

STROMSPARMODUS

Wenn die Uhr nicht gebraucht wird, kann die Batterielebensdauer verlängert werden, indem die Krone bis zur zweiten
Klickposition (b) ausgezogen wird. Hierdurch werden die Zeiger angehalten und der Stromverbrauch reduziert.

BATTERIE AUSTAUSCHEN

Die Miniaturbatterie, mit der diese Uhr läuft, ist darauf ausgelegt, ca. fünf Jahre lang zu halten. Da die Batterie jedoch
bereits werksseitig für Leistungsmessungen eingelegt wird, kann die tatsächliche Haltbarkeit, nachdem sie in Ihren
Besitz gelangt ist, geringer ausfallen.

Die Uhr verfügt über ein System, das anzeigt, wenn die Batterie niedrig ist. Wenn sich der Sekundenzeiger in Vier­Sekunden-Intervallen bewegt, sollte die Batterie ersetzt werden.

Batterien dürfen nur von einem autorisierten Oakley-Servicezentrum ausgetauscht werden. Sollten Personen, bei
denen es sich nicht um autorisierte Oakley-Servicefachleute handelt, versuchen, das Uhrgehäuse öffnen, verfällt die
Produktgarantie.

ANPASSUNG DES ARMBANDS

Nicht alle Oakley-Uhrenmodelle sind mit Metall-, Gummi- oder Lederarmband erhältlich; beachten Sie nachfolgend

MODELL MIT METALLARMBAND
Wenn Glieder aus dem Armband entfernt bzw. hinzugefügt werden müssen, sollte diese Anpassung von einem
autorisierten Oakley-Uhrenhändler vorgenommen werden. Versuchen Sie nicht selbst, das Armband zu verkürzen, da
dies zu Beschädigungen führen könnte.

MODELL MIT GUMMIARMBAND
Um die richtige Passform zu erlangen, kann es bei manchen Gummiarmbandmodellen mit Faltschließen erforderlich
sein, das Gummiband selbst zu kürzen. Diese Anpassung sollte von einem autorisierten Oakley-Uhrenhändler
vorgenommen werden. Versuchen Sie nicht selbst, das Gummiband zu verkürzen, da dies zu Beschädigungen führen
könnte.

MODELL MIT LEDERARMBAND
Das Naturleder des Armbands kann sich nach anfänglichem Tragen leicht ausdehnen. Passen Sie in diesem Fall die
Länge entsprechend an.

REINIGUNG

Verwenden Sie ein weiches, sauberes Tuch, um Feuchtigkeit von dem Band bzw. dem Gehäuse abzuwischen. Wenn

SCHUTZ

WASSEREINWIRKUNG
Bevor Sie die Uhr unter Wasser halten, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Krone vollständig gegen das Gehäuse gedrückt ist.
Die Uhr ist standardmäßig bis zu einem Druck von 10 bar wasserabweisend und kann beim Baden, beim Schwimmen
und beim Tauchen in seichten Gewässern getragen werden. Für Sport- oder Sättigungstauchen ist sie nicht vorgesehen.
Ziehen Sie die Krone nicht heraus, während die Uhr nass ist. Wenn Sie die Uhr im Meer angehabt haben, spülen Sie
sie mit Frischwasser ab, und lassen Sie sie vollständig trocknen.

TEMPERATUR
Für eine präzise Zeitmessung liegt die normale Betriebstemperatur zwischen 0° C und 50° C (32° F und 122° F).

MAGNETFELDER
Starke Magnetfelder können sich negativ auf die Uhr auswirken. Halten Sie sie von magnetischen Gegenständen fern.

CHEMIKALIEN
Die Uhr kann sich verfärben oder beschädigt werden, wenn sie mit kosmetischen Sprays, Reinigungsmitteln, Klebemitteln,
Lösungsmitteln oder Lacken in Kontakt kommt.

SCHOCKWELLE
Die Uhr ist zwar gegen Schäden durch Erschütterungen resistent, ein Aufschlagen auf einer harten Oberfläche kann jedoch
zu einer Beschädigung des Uhrwerks bzw. des Glases führen.

REGELMÄSSIGE WARTUNG
Um sicherzustellen, dass das Gehäuse, die Krone, das Glassiegel und die Dichtung wasserdicht bleiben, wird
empfohlen, die Uhr alle zwei bis drei Jahre von einem autorisierten Oakley-Servicezentrum überprüfen zu lassen.

EINGESCHRÄNKTE GARANTIE VON OAKLEY

Alle echten Oakley Uhren unterliegen in den ersten zwei Jahren nach dem Kaufdatum einer Garantie gegen
Herstellungsfehler. Die Garantie ist nur zusammen mit einem Kaufbeleg eines autorisierten Oakley-Uhrenhändlers gültig. Ihr
ausschließlicher Rechtsbehelf für einen Gewährleistungsanspruch ist die Reparatur oder der Ersatz des jeweiligen Artikels
nach Wahl von Oakley.

Wichtig
Diese beschränkte Garantie bezieht sich nicht auf das Glas, das Armband oder Zubehörteile. Weder die Abnutzung von
Lederkomponenten noch Kratzer am Gehäuse aufgrund von Nutzung oder Feuchtigkeitsschäden (bei nicht wasserabweisenden
Modellen) fallen unter die Garantie. Gleiches gilt für Schäden aufgrund von Naturkatastrophen wie Feuer, Überflutungen
oder Erdbeben. Oakley behält sich das Recht vor, jedwede Verantwortung aus dieser Garantie für die Reparatur von Schäden
abzulehnen, wenn Fehlgebrauch bzw. Missbrauch feststellbar ist. Dies bezieht sich auch auf Eingriffe und Reparaturen, die
nicht von autorisierten Oakley-Servicestellen durchgeführt wurden. Diese Garantie verleiht Ihnen bestimmte Rechtsmittel;
je nach örtlicher Rechtslage haben Sie eventuell auch noch andere Rechte.

Um im Rahmen dieser Garantie berücksichtigt zu werden, muss für einen während der Garantiezeit gestellten
Reparaturantrag ein gültiger Kaufbeleg vorliegen, aus dem das Kaufdatum und der Name des autorisierten Oakley­Uhrenhändlers eindeutig hervorgehen.

OAKLEY BOTTLE CAP™

Con su enfoque puro de líneas limpias, Oakley Bottle Cap™ es un reloj de fabricación suiza diseñado con movimiento
de cinco rubías enchapado en oro. Sus detalles atrevidos fueron imaginados con una ingeniosa simpleza para lograr
un estilo clásico con auténtico diseño de Oakley. El acero inoxidable forjado por impacto fue fabricado con maquinaria
de control numérico computarizado de alta precisión para crear la caja, y un cristal de zafiro puro con revestimiento
antirreflectante resguarda la esfera analógica de tres manecillas, que incluye un indicador de fecha mecánico.

Creamos el Bottle Cap™ para estilos de vida activos, de modo que cuenta con resistencia al agua de 10 bares (equivalente

Su reloj Oakley cuenta con una corona a presión con doble
sello para brindar mayor protección contra la humedad. La
corona puede extraerse a dos posiciones de clic. La primera
posición de clic es para configurar la fecha. La segunda
posición de clic es para configurar la hora.

Para configurar el reloj la primera vez (o para restablecer la
fecha y la hora después de sustituir la pila), haga lo siguiente:

1. Coloque la corona en la primera posición de clic (a).

2. Gire la corona en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj
hasta que aparezca la fecha del día anterior.

3. Lleve la corona a la segunda posición de clic (b).

4. Gire las manecillas hacia adelante hasta que aparezca
la fecha actual, luego continúe avanzando hasta que
se muestre la hora actual. Si la hora actual es por la
tarde o por la noche, mueva la manecilla de la hora
hasta que dé una vuelta completa a la esfera y pase
el mediodía.

5. Vuelva a presionar la corona para que quede
totalmente colocada en su posición normal.

Para establecer los segundos exactos, espere a que

la manecilla de segundos haya alcanzado la “O” en la
parte superior de la esfera, antes de tirar de la corona
hasta la segunda posición de clic (b). Ajuste la hora
y espere hasta que la manecilla indique el segundo
exacto antes de volver a colocar la corona en su
posición normal.

PARA AJUSTAR LA HORA Y LA FECHA PARA CONFIGURACIONES POSTERIORES, USE ESTOS
PROCEDIMIENTOS CORTOS:

PARA CONFIGURAR LA HORA

1. Lleve la corona a la segunda posición de clic (b).

2. Gire la corona hasta alcanzar la hora correcta.

3. Vuelva a colocar la corona en su posición normal.
PARA CONFIGURAR LA FECHA

1. Coloque la corona en la primera posición de clic (a).

2. Gire la corona en el sentido de las agujas del reloj
hasta alcanzar la fecha correcta.

Si la hora actual está entre las 9 P.M. y la medianoche,

configure la fecha al día siguiente. (Esto es necesario
para garantizar que el indicador cambiará a la
medianoche en lugar de al mediodía).

3. Vuelva a colocar la corona en su posición normal.

Establecer la fecha demasiado rápido puede hacer

que se muestre la fecha incorrecta. Para restaurar
la sincronización, gire la corona gradualmente para
pasar por el rango de configuraciones de fecha
(del 01 al 31) al seguir las instrucciones que se
encuentran más arriba.
