ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)
A CHECK TIRE PRESSURE warning message
will appear in the vehicle information display
and the low tire pressure warning light will illuminate when one or more tires are
low in pressure and air is needed.
• The tire pressures should be checked when the tires are cold. The tires are considered cold after the vehicle has been parked for 3 hours or more or driven less than 1 mi (1.6 km) at moderate speeds.
After the tire is in ated to recommended pressure, drive the
vehicle at speeds above 16 mph (25 km/h) to turn o the low tire pressure warning light .
When the low tire pressure warning light  ashes for 1 minute and then
remains on, the TPMS is not functioning properly. Have the system checked. It is recommended you visit a Nissan dealer for this service.
Tire pressure rises and falls depending on the heat caused by the vehicle’s
operation and the outside temperature. Low outside temperature can lower the temperature of the air inside the tire, which can cause a lower tire in ation pressure. This may cause the low tire pressure warning light to illuminate. If the warning light illuminates, check the tire pressure in your tires.
• Check the tire pressure (including the spare tire) often and always prior to long distance trips.
The Tire and Loading Information label contains valuable information. Please
refer to the “Technical and consumer information (section 10)” of your Owner’s Manual for the location of the Tire and Loading Information label.
Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations, and additional operating and feature information.
For more information, refer to the “Instruments and controls (section 2)”, the “Starting and driving (section 5)”, the “In case of emergency (section 6)” and the “Do-it-yourself (section 8)” of your Owner’s Manual.

ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE
Performance driving patterns or extended
driving at elevated ambient temperatures may result in increased engine oil temperature during operation.
During normal vehicle operation, oil
temperatures will be below 280°F (140°C). If the engine oil temperature gauge indicates 280°F (140°C) or above while driving, reduce engine speed (rpm) and drive at a reduced vehicle speed.
When the engine oil temperature is high, the engine protection mode, which
helps reduce the chance of engine damage, may activate and automatically decrease engine power.
Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations, and additional operating and feature information.
For more information, refer to the “Instruments and controls (section 2)”, the “Do-it-yourself (section 8)” and the “Technical and consumer information (section 10)” of your Owner’s Manual.
AUTOMATIC POWER WINDOWS
Your power windows have an automatic
adjusting function to ensure power windows close completely to help seal against wind noise and weather leaks.
When the front doors are opened, the
windows automatically lower slightly to avoid contact between the windows and the side roof panels.
If your vehicle’s battery has been discharged
or disconnected, the power window automatic adjusting function will not operate.
Refer to your Owner’s Manual for information on how to initialize your
power window system.
If the power window functions do not operate properly after initializing the
system, have your vehicle checked. It is recommended you visit a Nissan dealer for this service.
Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations, and additional operating and feature information.
