Connect the power adapter to the modem router.
The Power LED
modem router is ready. If the Power LED does not light, press the
Power On/Off button.
If the modem router is connected to a DSL service, the DSL LED
lights solid white.

1. Position the Antennas and
Plug In Your Modem Router

For the best WiFi performance, position the antennas as shown.
Connect the VDSL port on the modem router to a DSL outlet.
If your package came with a DSL microfilter, install the DSL microfilter
and connect it to the VDSL port on the modem router. You can also
connect a phone to the DSL microfilter.
2. Connect to the Internet
You can either use an Ethernet cable or connect with WiFi to the
modem router.
To connect with WiFi:
Make sure that the WiFi LED on the WiFi button is lit. Look on
the modem router’s label for the preassigned WiFi network name
(SSID) and network key (password).
Open the WiFi connection manager on your WiFi‑enabled
computer or mobile device, find the modem router’s SSID, and use
the modem router’s password to connect to the modem router’s
WiFi network.
Make sure that the DSL LED
Launch a web browser. If the installation assistant does not display, visit
www.routerlogin.net. If a login window displays, enter admin for the
admin user name and password for the admin password.
Follow the onscreen instructions to connect to the Internet.

Note: To connect to the modem router, you can use either a computer with an Ethernet
cable connection or a computer with a WiFi connection.
Note: If you set up the modem router for a DSL connection, you do not need to use the
yellow Internet port on the modem router.
