1 Tool and Test Equipment
The following table lists tools and test equipment recommended for
disassembly and reassembly of XT919 phones. Use either the listed items or equivalents.

2 Disassembly
The procedures in this section provide instructions for the disassembly of XT919 phones. Tools and equipment used for the phone are listed in Table 1, preceding.
Many of the integrated devices used in this equipment are vulnerable to damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Ensure adequate static protection is in place when handling, shipping, and servicing the internal components of this equipment.
Avoid stressing the plastic in any way to avoid damage to either the plastic or internal components.
2.1 Removing the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) and the Micro SD
1.Press SIM card and SD card let it spring out from the holder, and then slide the SIM card and SD card out of the SIM&SD holder according to the arrow (see figure 1)

2.2 Removing the rear decoration
1.Using the Guitar Pick to release each side of Rear DECO latch
according to the arrow, and then removing the Rear DECO (see figure
2)

2.3 Removing the Receiver decoration
1.Using the Front opening Tool to release the adhesive of Receiver DECO according to the arrow, and then removing the Receiver DECO (see figure 3)

2.4 Removing screws
1. Using a Torx driver with a T-4 bit, removing the screws in the side (see figure 4) Torque :1.0±0.1kgf.cm,RPM:700~1000r/min .

2. Using a Torx driver with a T-5 bit, removing the screws in the top and bottom (see figure 5) Torque :1.0±0.1kgf.cm,RPM:700~1000r/min .

2.5 Removing Front housing Assembly
1. Using the Guitar Pick to release each side of front housing latch
according to the arrow, and then release the LCM connector and removing the front housing assembly (see figure 6).

2.5.1 Removing the EARPIECE SPEAKER
1. Using the ESD tweezers to lift the earpiece speaker, then removing the earpiece speaker according to the arrow (see figure 7).

2.5.2 Removing the Main Display Assembly
1. Using the Front Opening Tool to release the touch panel connector according to the arrow (see figure 8).

2.5.3 Removing the Touch Panel Assembly
1. Using the Front Opening Tool to release the adhesive of Touch Panel
according to the arrow, and then removing the Touch Panel (see figure
12).
(Note: The front housing assembly has to be placed into an oven by
80° C for 5 minutes before disassembly the touch panel

2.6 Removing the Main board Assembly
1.Using the Front opening Tool to release the battery connector according to the arrow (see figure 13).

2. Using a Torx driver with a T-5 bit, removing the screw of fixed main board (see figure 14) Torque :1.0±0.1kgf.cm,RPM:700~1000r/min .

2.6.1 Removing the camera
1.Using the Front opening tool to release the front camera connector, and then removing the camera, according to the arrow (see figure 16).

2.7 Removing the Battery
1. Using the Front opening tool to release the battery, and then removing the battery, according to the arrow (see figure 18).

2.8 Removing the ALERT SPEAKER
1. Using the ESD tweezers to lift the alert speaker, then removing the alert speaker according to the arrow (see figure 19).

3 Assembly
3.1 Assemble the front and rear camera
1.Using the ESD tweezers to take up the front &rear camera, and then connect with the camera connector on main board and use your finger
to press down the camera (see figure 20).

3.2 Assemble the Touch Panel Assembly
1. Using your hand to take up the Touch Panel assembly and put the FPC of Touch Panel into the Front housing (see figure 21).

2. Using your fingers press each side of Touch Panel according to the arrow (see figure 22).

3.3 Assemble the EARPIECE SPEAKER
1. Using the ESD tweezers to take up the earpiece speaker and put into
the front housing assembly, and then using your finger press the earpiece speaker into location according to the arrow (see figure 23).

3.4 Assemble the Main Display Assembly to the front housing
1. Using your hand to take up the main display and put the FPC of main
display into the LCM bracket (see figure 24).

2. Using your fingers press each side of main display assembly according to the arrow (see figure 25).

3. Using your hand to take up the main display assembly, and then put the FPC of touch panel into the main display assembly (see figure 26).

4. Using your fingers assemble the main display assembly to front
housing assembly, let the hook of front housing snap the main display assembly (see figure 27)

5. Using the ESD tweezers let the connector of touch panel connect with
main display assembly (see figure 28)

3.5 Assemble the ALERT SPEAKER
1. Using the ESD tweezers to take up the alert speaker and put it into
the rear housing assembly, and then using your hand press down the
alert speaker according to the arrow (see figure 29)

3.6 Assemble the Battery
1.Using your hand to take up the battery, and then put the battery into the rear housing assembly according to the arrow (see figure 30).

3.7 Assemble the Main board Assembly into the rear housing
1.Using your hand to take up the main board assembly, and then put the main board assembly into the rear housing, let the hook of rear housing snap the main board (see figure 31).

2. Using the ESD tweezers let the FPC of battery connect with the main board
(see figure 32).

3.8 Assemble screws
1.Using a Torx driver with a T-5 bit to lock the screws according to the arrow (see figure 33) Torque :1.0±0.1kgf.cm,RPM:700~1000r/min

3.9 Assemble REAR HOUSING ASSEMBLY
1. Using your hand to take up the front cover assembly, and then let the
connector of main display connect with main board, according to the arrow (see figure 34)

2. Using your finger to press each side of the front housing according to the arrow, let the hook of rear housing snap the front housing (see figure 35).

3.10 Assemble screws
1. Using a Torx driver with a T-4 bit to lock the screws according to the arrow (see figure 36) Torque :1.0±0.1kgf.cm,RPM:700~1000r/min .

3.11 Assemble the Receiver decoration
1. Using the ESD tweezers take up the receiver DECO and put it into the front housing, and then using your hand press down the receiver DECO (see figure 38)

3.12 Assemble the rear decoration
1. Using your hand to take up the rear DECO and assemble to the phone, and then press down the DECO let the hook of rear cover snap the rear deco according to the arrow (see figure 39).

3.13 Assemble the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) and the Micro SD
1. Using your hand to take up the SIM&SD card, and then insert the SIM&SD holder according to the arrow (see figure 40)
