X-Pand Audio Technology
Motorola special voice compression and expansion
technology called X-PAND enables crisper, clearer and
stronger audio quality, allowing messages to be heard
even in a high noise environment.
Wide Band
Only one model is required in each individual frequency
band:– 136-174 MHz, 403-470 MHz, 450-527 MHz, the
radio allows users the flexibility to select their frequency
for use in their respective work environment without
the need to buy different frequency models. Thus reduce
inventory cost and improve delivery cycle time.
Adjustable Power Level
Users can switch to a low power when communicating
within limited range coverage or switch to a high power
level when further distance is required. High transmit
power maximise range coverage while low transmit
power conserve battery consumption, all at the user’s
control.
Programmable Channel Spacing Of 12.5kHz/25
kHz Mode
Flexible and easy migration of multiple channel spacing
of 12.5kHz, 20kHz, 25kHz within one radio means you
do not need to purchase a new radio, protecting your
investment as should your country’s regulatory
requirement changes.
Repeater Talk Around
Users have the freedom to communicate through a
repeater for wide area coverage, or bypass a repeater
and talk directly to another radio if the coverage is
within the range or when the repeater malfunctions.
Tight/Normal Squelch
The radio’s sensitivity can be regulated by selecting
the appropriate squelch levels. Users have the flexibility
to protect their communication by switching to tight
squelch to filter out interference of unwanted weak
signal; or normal squelch to increase coverage.
Cloning Operation
Easy transfer of essential operating features from one
radio to another through a cloning cable without using
computers to reprogramme the radios, enables improved
efficiency.
Rapid Charger
A new 90-minute time saving rapid charger helps to
improve productivity. This charger can also be used to
charge both NiMH and NiCD battery. One charger fits
all–Value for your money!
