Please read the following instructions carefully
because when you use any electrical
appliance, a few basic rules should be
followed:
• Remove all the packaging and retain it for
future use but remember that packaging
materials (plastic bags, polystyrene foam,
etc.) are a potential source of danger, and
must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Check the appliance for damage after
unpacking. If in doubt, DO NOT use the
appliance; return it to place of purchase.
• Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner, in the event of
this occurring please telephone Morphy
Richards using the helpline number on the
front of this leaflet, for advice.
• To protect against electrical shock, do
not immerse cord, plug, or coffee maker
in water or other liquid.
• Do not allow the appliance to be used by
children.
• Make sure that small children cannot
reach the coffee maker and that the mains
lead does not hang over the edge of the
work surface.
• Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
• The use of accessory attachments is not
recommended by the appliance
manufacturer as it may result in fire,
electric shock, or personal injury.
• Your coffee maker is designed for
domestic use only. Any other use of the
appliance is considered improper and
therefore dangerous and will invalidate
the guarantee.
• Be sure that the lid is securely in place
before brewing and serving coffee.
• Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or
knobs.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or
electric burner or in a heated oven.
• Remove and replace lid carefully.
• Scalding may occur if lid is removed
during brewing cycle.
• Extreme caution must be used when
moving a coffee maker containing hot
liquids.
• This percolator is only to be used with
the cordless base provided.
• Remove the plug from the mains supply
when cleaning or when the appliance is
not in use. Allow to cool before putting
on or taking off parts, and before cleaning
the appliance.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not leave the appliance switched on
unnecessarily.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners on your
machine as they may scratch the surface.
Clean by wiping with a soft damp cloth.
