Using AutoScan Automatic FM Frequency Selection
(recommended)
The iCarPlay Wireless 200 features AutoScan to automatically find the best, clearest FM channel in your local area. The process takes about a minute. Remember that as you drive through different areas the FM signal conditions change, so when driving long distances, you can repeat the AutoScan selection whenever FM interference occurs.
1. Press TWICE on the “S” button. (This will also stop music playback on the iPod.)
2. Press the Right or Left button to highlight AutoScan and press the “S” button to select.
3. AutoScan will begin searching through the entire FM range to find the best frequency. This may take up to 1 minute. Then iCarPlay Wireless 200 will automatically select the best frequency and display it on the iPod screen. NOTE: After a few seconds
the iPod will return to its regular menu, so it’s important to note the AutoScan selected frequency while it’s shown.
4. Tune your FM radio to the same channel.
AutoScan Shortcut
To use AutoScan without selecting from menu, simply hold the “S” button until it says “scanning”
International Use
iCarPlay Wireless 200 works with FM radio systems worldwide. To select a different tuning system:
1. Press the “S” button THREE TIMES. (This will stop music playback on the iPod.)
2. Press the Right or Left to select the desired International Mode.
N. America: 88.1 - 107.9 MHz (with 0.2 intervals)
Japan: 76 - 90 MHz (with 0.1 intervals) Europe: 87.8 - 108.1 MHz, (with 0.1 intervals)
3. Press the “S” button again. The International Mode will be set, and the iPod will return to its regular menu.

To ensure uninterrupted iPod screen viewing during setup and FM frequency selection, please set the backlight timer properties on the iPod settings menu to your preference while using iCarPlay Wireless 200.
The words “OK to disconnect” will always appear when in FM Transmitter mode; this is normal.
When selecting your FM station, in all instances, the music will stop transmitting.

MONSTER SAFETY TIP
Connecting and/or setting iCarPlay Wireless 200 while driving may cause serious injury and/or death. Drive responsibly— connect and set iCarPlay Wireless 200 BEFORE operating your vehicle and pay attention to the road while driving.
Performance & Safety Tips:
• Connect iCarPlay™ Wireless 200 and select channels BEFORE operating your vehicle; never while driving.
• For best performance, select an iCarPlay Wireless 200 channel that is not occupied by a strong local FM radio station.
• Select the channel that offers clearest sound with the least interference. AutoScan can find this channel automatically. Remember that signal conditions change as your car moves, and re-scanning may be necessary.
• The iCarPlay Wireless 200 transmitter strength is regulated and limited by the FCC. iCarPlay Wireless 200 transmits at the power allowable by law.
• iCarPlay Wireless 200 is designed to transmit within your car’s perimeter while not interfering with the surrounding public airwaves.
• Certain car radios may experience more difficulty receiving clear signals than others. Location of the antenna can affect signal strength. Some vehicles have a metallic film in the windows that can also make it harder to receive clear signals from the iCarPlay Wireless 200.
• In dense metropolitan areas, there are cases where all iCarPlay Wireless 200 pre-set stations are occupied by local radio stations. Sometimes a station setting next to a local station may be strong enough to ‘bleed’ over to the adjacent frequencies. Use manual tuning to eliminate interference.
• Radio frequencies from local stations can ‘bounce’ from hills and buildings and may cause momentary interference.
• A steel bridge or parking garage may act like an antenna, strengthening local and distant radio station signals. You may need to wait until you are “over the bridge” or “out of the structure” for clearest reception.
