DISCONNECTING THE DRIVE Be sure to follow your computer’s recommended method for ejecting or unmounting the drive.

FORMATTING - MAC USERS
The drive is preformatted HFS+ and ready to go. If you want to use the drive between Mac and PC we recommend formatting the drive exFAT.
You will need to reformat the drive before saving any data. We recommend formatting NTFS for the best performance. If you want to use the drive between PC and Mac we recommend formatting the drive exFAT.

CABLE LATCH OPERATION
STEP 1: Pull latch down to release connector.
STEP 2: Unwind Thunderbolt cable from
enclosure, and plug in the connector.
NOTE: When storing cable make sure to press it back into the channel.
