Power Mirror Control Module: Description and Operation
-
When the remote-controlled mirror switch is operated while the ignition key is in "ACC" or "ON" position, the front door module (LH) determinesoperator requirements according to switch output signals. The front door module (LH) positions the LH door mirror by driving the mirror motors or sends a signal to the assist-ECU via the SWScommunication line. The assist-ECU drives the RH door mirror motors to position the mirror according to the signal received.

Electronic Brake Control Module: Testing and InspectionTerminal Resistance & Continuity Check
Terminal Resistance And Continuity Checks
1. Turn the ignition switch to "OFF."2. Disconnect the ABS-ECU connector.3. Measure the resistance and check for continuity between the terminals of the ABS-ECU harness-side connector while referring to the check chart.
NOTE:
- When measuring resistance and checking continuity, a harness for checking contact pin pressure should be used instead of inserting a test probe.
- Checks do not have to be carried out in the order given in this chart.
CAUTION:
If resistance or continuity checks are performed on the wrong terminals, damage to the vehicle wiring, sensors, ABS-ECU, and/orohmmeter may occur. Use care to prevent this.
4. If ohmmeter shows any deviation from the normal condition, check the corresponding sensor, actuator and related electrical: wiring, then repair or
replace.
5. After repair or replacement, recheck with the ohmmeter to confirm that the repair or replacement has corrected the problem.

Terminal Voltage Check Chart

1. Turn the ignition switch to "OFF."2. Disconnect the ABS-ECU connector.3. Measure the voltage at the terminals of the ABS-ECU harness-side connector while referring to the check chart.
NOTE:
- When measuring voltage, a harness for checking contact pin pressure should be used instead of inserting a test probe.
- Checks do not have to be carried out in the order given in this chart.
CAUTION:
Short-circuiting the positive (+) probe between a connector terminal and ground could damage the vehicle wiring, the sensor, ABS-ECU,or all three. Use care to prevent this.
4. If voltmeter shows any deviation from standard value, check the corresponding sensor, actuator and related electrical wiring, then repair or
replace.
5. After repair or replacement, recheck with the voltmeter to confirm that the repair has corrected the problem.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- Remove under cover and glove box. Refer to "Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators."
Reverse procedure to install.

1. Remove ABS-ECU bracket.2. Remove ABS-ECU.-
